"So, are you telling me you liked it?" Akk asked shyly, seeing that Tan looked quite pleased by their conversation. Tan finally sat down, he put his notebook with the exercises he had prepared for Akk's lesson and with a quite satisfied expression he replied:

"Well, I must admit that your confession was a little too dramatic, but I can understand that you're still new to these mechanics, so you're excused"

"You didn't respond to the question... I guess you..." Akk added feeling his cheeks get red. Tan sighed heavily and pointed at the exercises.

"I kind of liked it, are you satisfied now? Are you going to keep flirting with me or perhaps you prefer to pretend that you listen to my explanations for this topic? I'm quite sure that you aren't allowed to flirt with your professors to get good grades... no matter how effective it would be..."

"Effective? Do you mean you find me attractive?" Akk suddenly felt much more daring. A bunch of different scenarios flooded his mind. Sure, Tan felt a deep affection towards Fang, but who knows, perhaps what he called love was slowly reversing to friendship and Akk could have a chance.

"Akk!" Tan shouted. His expression changed in an instant, going from delighted and amused by the behavior of his young student, to deeply disappointed by how easily Akk went from shy to confident.

"Come on, you can tell me. You don't have to say that you're attracted to me... just tell me if you find me good looking or not... a lot of girls told me that but I need to know if men think the same" Akk added.

"This conversation is making me feel uncomfortable... stop it" Tan replied looking away.

Akk grabbed his hands, he put them on his chest and looked at Tan, hoping that after feeling his heartbeat he could potentially change his mind. Tan tried to push him away, but he accidentally fell from his chair. To avoid the fall, he tried to grab Akk's shirt, but he ended up straining it until two buttons flew off.

Hearing the loud noise caused by Tan and his chair hitting the floor, Fai decided to go and check on her own. At first she wasn't sure if it was better to secretly text Fang about the situation, but then she realized that it would have just added more pressure to an already stressing job. Maybe she could ignore the whole thing and wait until Fang found out on his own, but she didn't want to see him get hurt.

"Tan, Tan!" she said as she knocked on the door. Tan got up, he glared at Akk and opened the door.

"Hello Fai"

"Is everything alr-" she stopped midsentence as she saw Akk trying to fix his shirt.

"It isn't what it looks like" Tan replied after noticing what Fai was looking at.

"I... I heard everything... how he was flirting with you and you accepting his compliments... this is your life, but I won't let you hurt Fang" Fai said and turned to leave.
