Naruto walked farther into his room as more tears poured down his drooping face. He saw the bed and laid down, fully prepared to fall asleep. That is, until Sasuke Uchiha invaded his thoughts. Images of the boy.

The blonde tried to chase the images away, tried to clear his mind so he could sleep. But they just wouldn't go away. And the more he thought about Sasuke, the more he cried. Then there was the thoughts of when he finishes singing Time Of Dying. He didn't save me. If any one could have, it would have been him. But he didn't. It was all meaningless.

He then thought of the perfect song to sing about his life now and began.

It starts with one.

One thing I don't know why
It doesn't even matter how hard you try
Keep that in mind, I designed this rhyme
To explain in due time.

Naruto thought about his and Sasuke's bonding moment in the land of Waves.

All I know time is a valuable thing
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings

He thought about him, Sasuke, and Sakura waiting for their sensei to get to the classroom to get them.

It's so unreal.

Images of day after day of waiting for Kakashi to get there.

I kept everything inside and even though I tried, it all fell apart
What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I tried so hard.

All the times he smiled for them when he wanted to cry.

He thought of his and Sasuke's fights, and their occasional smiles and smirks.

An image of who they knew him as appeared in his minds eye, before being replaced by the reflection he'd seen in the water.

More tears fell as images of him and Sasuke accidentally kissing popped into his head.

He thought, why didn't you save me Sasuke? I trusted you as much as i could, and you didn't do a thing.

He thought of the states of his teammates when he left. It all doesn't matter anymore.

He whiped away his tears and freshened up just in time to hear a knock on the door and Itachi saying, "Naruto, they want to see you now. I hope you got your rest."

Hearing this, the switch flipped in his head and he made his way towards the door. As he did, he saw his bag , and Sasuke's picture was sticking out of the edge. Then he gave his insane grin and thought, on second thought, i'll make you mine.
