As Naruto made his way through the forest in the middle of the night, he noticed the night life. Not the night life of citizens, but the nightlife of predators and prey. He remembered how he used to be the prey, but was now a predator.

As the memories came to the surface, he ran at a tree, causing him to fall to the ground with a bleeding head. So he decided to sing once again.

Crawling in my skin
These wounds they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real.

He could feel his insanity as if it was just beneath the surface, just beneath his skin.

There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface
Consuming confusing
This lack of self-control I fear is never ending
Controlling I can't seem.

He wanted to scream, he was losing his control once again.

To find myself again
My walls are closing in
(without a sense of confidence and I'm convinced that there's just too much pressure to take)
I've felt this way before
So insecure.

Now he could see that he was never truly the prey. He was a predator waiting for the right moment to come out.

The blonde stood back up and began walking to the song beat.

Discomfort endlessly has pulled itself upon me
Distracting reacting
Against my will I stand beside my own reflection
It's haunting how I can't seem.

Naruto punches a few trees as he walked by them. Wanting to take out his anger on something, anything.

To find myself again

(without a sense of confidence and I'm convinced that there's just too much pressure to take)

He stumbled upon an injured fox being attacked by an owl, so he growled. The owl flew away. He then walked towards the fox.

He pulled out his first aid kit, and began to patch up the foxes wound as he finished the song.

Once the song finished, he smiled  down at the baby fox. He closed his eyes for one second, and when he opened them again, there was no fox and the first aid supplies was tied around a tree branch.

He sighed, this is proof that i am completely losing it. Is it bad that i don't care if its real or not anymore?

A voice responded, but it wasn't Kurama's. It said, Not at all.

Naruto decided to ask, And who are you?

It quickly responded, The other half of your incomplete insanity.

The blonde just shrugged and continued to walk, not seeing a point in continuing the conversation, when it was clear his was talking to himself.
