Chapter 20

This chapter is a fun one. I hope you all enjoy. It picks up where the last left off and is filled with a bunch of crazy tricks. It also calls back to a actual Supernatural episode that happened. If anyone is familiar with the show and can see the connection, let me know! With that said, let's get into Chapter 20!

Chan and Felix tense as they appear in this weird room with light blue walls and a large mirror. The floor is made of light brown wood tiling and there are huge speakers near the corners of the room. They're the only two there which is both a good thing and a bad thing. "Where are we?" Felix questions.

Chan runs a hand through his hair and shakes his head, "I have no idea."

"This is cause of the trickster," Felix murmurs, "He must have sent us to one of his stupid worlds!"

"Great," Chan huffs, "What now?"

"We need to figure out how to get out of here," Felix says, "Wherever here is...." The cousins look around the room again, trying to figure out what to do next. "We should go explore," Chan says. Felix sighs and nods his head. The two head towards a door and pull it open. They exit the room and are met by a hallway filled with other doors leading to more rooms. "This is nice," Felix says in a sarcastic tone, "Where to now?"

"Down the hall, I guess," Chan says. The cousins slowly make their way down the empty hall, making sure to be aware of their surroundings as they do. They turn a corner and are met by two young men walking in the opposite direction. Chan stares at them and his eyes widen when he recognizes them, "Jaebum hyung...Jinyoung hyung." The two look at the Aussie with smiles as their names are called. Chan and Felix rush over to stand in front of them, curious as to why they're here as well. "Did the trickster get to you too?" Chan asks, "I thought you were going after Ramiel. What happened?"

"Uh, I could ask you the same thing," Jaebum says, "Are you two alright? You seem a bit frantic."

"Yeah, I mean we just got sent to this random building in this random world by an imp who owns a coffee shop!" Felix explains.

"I don't think you two got enough sleep last night," Jinyoung says.

"How are you two so calm?" Chan questions, "Don't you realize what's going on?"

"I don't know what you're talking about, Chan," Jaebum says, "Everything is pretty normal."

"Normal?" Felix says in a confused tone. Jinyoung and Jaebum both nod their heads. The cousins look at one another and then back at their fellow hunters with puzzled expressions. "Jinyoung hyung," Chan says, "Where are we?"

"Um...the JYP entertainment headquarters," Jinyoung answers with a concerned look on his face, "Are you two okay? You're both acting like you've never been here before..." The cousins don't answer him, trying to make sense of this situation. "JYP," Felix whispers under his breath, trying to remember where he's heard that name before. His eyes slowly widen and he slaps Chan's arm. "JYP," Felix says in a harsh tone, "His nametag..." Chan gapes at it slowly dawns on him. The trickster sent them to a world where he owns an entertainment company. Great. Just great. "That means that you two are idols," Chan says, looking to his friends.

Jaebum nods, "Just like you two. Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yeah, we're fine," Felix chirps to them before turning to his cousin and whispering harshly, "Just like us!?" Chan pats his cousin on the shoulder, feeling just as overwhelmed as him about this new world. "I would go talk to your manager about taking a day off," Jinyoung says, "You two may need it."

Jaebum nods, "Well, we have to go. We have practice." The two wave as they walk down the hallway that the cousins just came from. Once they're alone again, Felix and Chan look at each other. "Okay, so that freaking trickster sent us to a world where we're Kpop stars!?" Felix questions in shock.

Chan massages his temples and nods his head, "And he is the big boss..."

"This is wonderful!" Felix exclaims sarcastically, "What do we do now?"

"Figure a way out," Chan says.

"Well, JYP isn't going to just let us leave," Felix says.

"Oh, I know," Chan says, "The only way we're getting out of here is pretty obvious." Felix nods his head, understanding what his cousin is going at. "There you two are!" A voice calls out from down the hall. The hunters turn to look and their eyes widen when they see three familiar faces. "Changbin, Jisung, Seungmin," Chan says as the three come to stand in front of them, "You're here."

"Of course we're here," Changbin says, "Where else would we be?"

"Hell," Felix murmurs.

"What was that Lix?" Changbin wuestions.

"Nothing," Felix says, forcing a wide smile onto his face.

"They're not the people we know," Chan whispers to his cousin.

"No duh," Felix hisses back.

"We need to go," Jisung says, "Come on, Chan hyung."

"Where are we going?" Chan questions with wide eyes.

Changbin chuckles, "Funny. Our interview. Let's go. We're going to be late."

"But, what about?" Chan says, looking at his cousin.

"Lix and I are going to do a vlive," Seungmin says, grabbing onto the freckled boy's arm and flashing Chan a smile.

"Yeah, we're doing a vlive," Felix says, eyeing his cousin with a look that says save me.

"See, let's go," Jisung says, "Manager-nim is probably going to lose his mind if we don't show up soon." He grabs onto Chan's shirt and tugs him down the hallway, pulling him away from Felix, who looks a mixture of scared and overwhelmed. Changbin waves to the other two before following Chan and Jisung. "You ready?" Seungmin says, looking at Felix. The Aussie nods in a confident manner even though he has none at all. This isn't going to go well

"Okay, so I will do a short introduction and then you can introduce yourselves and we'll ask you a few questions about your new album," the interviewer says with a smile. Chan, Changbin, and Jisung are all seated within one of the practice rooms. It's completely dark except for a couple spotlights that have been positioned to hit the three as well as the interviewer. "Sounds good?" The woman in a simple black shirt and plaid white skirt asks. Changbin and Jisung both nod their heads while Chan tries his best to calm his racing heart. He isn't ready for something like this. He's never been one to get nervous. He kills monsters for a living, but this is something completely out of his playing field. Performing? Giving interviews? Hell no. "Okay, let's begin then," The interviewer says, "Welcome, today we are speaking with rising idols Stray Kids who has just released their newest album In Life." Chan stiffens a bit and purses his lips together. Changbin and Jisung bring their hands up in an interesting way that Chan clumsily tries to mimic. The room falls silent after that. Chan shifts a bit in his seat as Jisung and Changbin start to stare at the blonde. "Hyung," Jisung hisses, "What are you doing?"

"Um..." Chan murmurs, not knowing what to say.

"Cut!" The interviewer exclaims, "Is everything alright, Bang Chan-ssi? Did you not understand what I said earlier?"

"No, no," Chan says, "I did...I just um...sorry."

"It's alright," The interviewer says, "Let's just start again. Ready?" The three nod once more and the room falls silent again. Chan can feel his neck flush as his friends start to stare at him once again. "Hyung, are you okay?" Changbin asks, "We've done this a billion times already."

"We have?" Chan questions.

Jisung's brows furrow and he nudges the hunter, "Step out, we're Stray Kids!" Chan watches his friend as his hands move and he calls out what he assumes is their group's introduction. Chan nods his head and clears his throat, "I know that. Yeah, I just...I'm really out of it today. I apologize. Can we try that one last time?" The interviewer nods and signals to her staff. Chan takes a deep breath before repeating Jisung's actions in as confident a tone as he can muster. The interviewer nods, "Thank you so much for joining us today."

"Thank you for having us," Chan says in a shaky tone. The interviewer beams and glances down at her cards quickly. The blonde lets out a breath, feeling as if he did alright there. "In Life has seventeen tracks, eight of which are new. The three of you are part of the producing team in your group, 3racha," The interviewer says, "Can you tell us more about this album and the process of creating all these new songs?" Chan eyes widen as he tries to process the question. He presses his lips together and prays silently that he doesn't have to answer. His wishes are unheard as both of his friends start to stare at him again. This is going to be a long interview.

──────●◎●──────

"Hello, Stay!" Seungmin says, waving at the camera.

"Hi, Stay," Felix says, copying his friend even though he has no idea who Stay is or why they're saying hi to them. The two sit inside a medium sized office area side by side behind a desk. There's a phone in front of them that shows what Felix assumes is stats for a livestream. There's a flood of what looks like comments streaming up on the other side of the phone screen. "We came cause we had free time and we wanted to see how you all were doing," Seungmin says with a wide smile. He stares at the screen, his eyes following the fast stream of comments. Felix sits besides him completely silent, not knowing how to act or what to do in this situation. He's watched live-streams and such before, but he's never hosted one. What is he supposed to do? And what happens if he messes up? "Hello to Brazil!" Seungmin chirps.

"Hello," Felix echoes in a monotone voice.

"What's your favorite song from the album?" Seungmin says, "Oh, I like My Universe. What about you, Felix?"

"Uh...I like that one too," Felix says, not knowing any other song off of this album of theirs.

"What about you, Stay? Which song is your favorite?" Seungmin asks. The brown-haired singer smiles at the camera as he reads the comments that continue to flood in. Felix lets out a breath and sinks into his chair, trying his best to hide. He really doesn't want to be on camera. How much longer is this livestream going to last? His cousin and him have things to do. Tricksters to kill. They can't waste it playing pretend. "We can't see Felix," Seungmin reads causing the freckled boy to stiffen. Seungmin looks back at him and gestures for him to move forward. Felix scrunches up his nose and covers his mouth with his hand. "Do I have to?" Felix asks, "I'm not feeling up for this, Seungmin."

"C'mon," His friend urges, "It's for the fans." Felix sighs and nods his head. He scoots his seat forward a bit and brings his face close to the phone like Seungmin did. "Can you see me better now?" Felix asks. The word yes floods the comments and Felix lets out a breath, hoping that the stream would just crash or end or something so that he can run away and never do anything like this ever again.

──────●◎●──────

Chan groans as he walks out of the room followed by Changbin and Jisung. "It wasn't that bad, hyung, don't worry," Jisung says.

"Yeah, you'll be surprised what the editors can do," Changbin says. Chan shakes his head, finding everything they had just shot absolute garbage. "Thanks for all the support guys," Chan sighs, "But, you don't need to pretend. I know I was doing a crappy job." Mainly cause this isn't his life. He doesn't do interviews or produce or any of those things that Kpop stars are supposed to do. "It's okay," Jisung says, "We all have those days." Chan shakes his head again and massages his temples. He just wants to go back home. "Hyung!" Felix falls out as he rushes down the hallway.

Chan looks at his cousin and lets out a breath of relief, "Felix." The freckled boy comes to a stop in front of the three. "You finished your vlive?" Changbin asks.

Felix nods, "A while ago. You three were in there for a while."

"That is thanks to me," Chan says, "Who knew interviews about yourself could be so hard?" Felix nods his head, understanding exactly what his cousin is feeling. "Where's Seungmin?" Jisung asks.

"He went to get a snack," Felix says, "He said he'll see us all back at the dorms."

"We should all head back together then," Changbin says, "I think we're all done with our schedule for today."

"Actually, I was thinking of sticking around a bit and working on some music," Chan says. He eyes Felix, who nods his head in understanding. Chan is finding a way for them to both stick around so they can get a shot at the trickster. "Oh, can I tag along?" Felix asks, "I don't really have much to do at home..."

"Sure!" Chan chirps.

"Me too," Jisung says, "I have some song lyrics that I think may work for that beat you showed me the other day..."

"Um...actually I'd rather be alone, Jisung," Chan says.

Jisung's eyebrows furrow, "But, you just said that Felix could go with you..."

"Well...I um...want to be alone with Felix," Chan says, "Yeah..." Jisung and Changbin eye the two with suspicion, wondering what is going on with them. Felix scratches the back of his neck and laughs awkwardly. He nudges Chan, who also begins to chuckle nervously. They look at their friends, who both look back at them with a mix of concern and confusion. "If you say so," Jisung says warily, "I guess Changbin hyung and I will just head back by ourselves."

"Yup," Felix says through a forced grin, "See you later!"

"Bye!" Chan says, waving. The two wave as well before slowly turning around and making their way towards the exit, leaving the cousins alone. Chan and Felix exchange a short, exhausted glance before walking down the hallway. "We need to get back home, ASAP," Chan says, "I can't be Bang Chan, leader of Kpop group Stray Kids for any longer."

"Agreed," Felix murmurs, "I swear...I just made a fool of myself in front of a bunch of our fans."

"Don't worry, so did I," Chan says, "I kept making up complete crap about producing when I don't even know the first step to writing a song." The two enter one of the studios and lock the door shut behind them, so that they can talk with no interruptions. They pace back and forth anxiously as they try to figure out their next plan of action. "The whole issue is that we won't be able to move through the building without being identified," Chan says, "We're famous and if we approach our famous boss with sticks of wood bathed in blood it wouldn't look good."

"Well, then we need to find a way to get to him when no one is around," Felix says, "Good thing for us, I know exactly when that is. While you were failing at that interview, I found out that JYP has business outside the company later tonight. The meeting starts at around six, so he'll have to leave at around five."

"It's around three-thirty now," Chan muses, "That'll give us a good hour and a half to get the wood and cover it in our blood."

Felix nods, "Then, we just need to wait for JYP to exit the building and pounce before anyone even notices."

──────●◎●──────

"Is he coming?" Felix asks.

Chan sighs and glances down at his phone, "He should've come out ten minutes ago." The two are sitting on opposite sides outside the front door of the JYP entertainment building. They have wooden stakes sitting beside them each coated with red at the point. Felix leans his head against the wall and lets his eyes shift back and forth, looking for their monster. Chan taps his foot on the floor, trying his best to be patient. "Have a good day!" A voice chirps in a muffled tone. The cousins look at one another, recognizing who it is. Felix slowly gets up, grabbing onto the stake and bringing it close to him. Chan follows suit, quietly standing up and taking his own weapon into his hand. The door to the building opens and a man garbed in a tan jacket walks out. Felix and Chan are at his sides immediately. They grip onto his arms and press the wooden stakes at his back and side. "Hi, PD-nim," Chan says, "Can we talk to you for a second?" The trickster grits his teeth and slowly nods his head. He allows the hunters to drag him to the side of the building and towards an empty area where they won't be disrupted or noticed. Felix shoves JYP into the wall and presses the point of his stake above his heart. Chan hovers nearby with his own stake ready just in case it's necessary. "You two figured it out pretty quickly," JYP says, "I'm impressed."

"It wasn't that hard considering you sent us to a world where we work in a company named after yourself," Chan says.

JYP nods his head, "True, I just couldn't help myself. You know this has always been a dream of mine...to start an entertainment company."

"That's cool," Felix says, "It's too bad that I don't really care." He applies pressure and shoves the stake through the trickster's clothes. JYP growls in pain and gasps as blood starts to drip from his chest. "Wait! Wait!" JYP exclaims, "You can't kill me."

"Why not?" Felix asks.

"You can't get home if you do," JYP gasps. Felix's eyes narrow and he glances back at his cousin. JYP uses this to his advantage and swings a fist at the freckled hunter. Felix grunts as he staggers back, dropping his stake. Chan grimaces before tightening his hand on his own weapon. He clashes with JYP instantly, exchanging blow after blow. Chan blocks as the trickster tries to chop at his neck. He delivers a kick to the man's chest where Felix had already created a wound. JYP hisses in pain and grasps at his injury. Chan charges forward without a second break, firing punches at the trickster's face. He pushes JYP back to the wall before slamming the point of the stake right into his chest. The trickster's eyes widen as he grasps at the wood jabbed into him. He slowly slides to the ground and his head lolls to the side. Chan looks over to Felix, who rubs at his cheek. "I can't believe I fell for that," Felix grumbles. Chan chuckles and sticks a hand out to help his cousin to his feet. As he does so, they are engulfed in a bright flash of light.

──────●◎●──────

Chan and Felix both let out breaths of relief as they appear in the coffee shop once again. They look around to see all the other customers also being dragged back into the real world. "What happened?" A lady exclaims, "I was in the middle of being rescued by my knight in shining armor!"

"I don't know. This hasn't ever happened before," A man complains. Chan and Felix exchange a look, knowing exactly what is going on. Felix tippy toes a bit so that he can look over the counter. He sighs when he sees the dead body of JYP lying on the floor. Clean up time! Yay. Felix tugs on his cousin's sleeve and discreetly points behind the counter. Chan's eyes widen and he nods his head. "I'll clear them out," Chan murmurs before clearing his throat and speaking to the customers in the store, "Everyone! We're with the NIS. We got a report of drugs being used within this coffee. If you could please follow me outside so that we can have you all tested!" The customers all stiffen as they stare at Chan. He nods his head and gestures towards the door. The people slowly make their way towards the exit. Chan follows behind them after patting his cousin on the shoulder. Felix sighs as he makes his way behind the counter and begins to drag the trickster's body through the back door. After the two have finished dealing with all of this, they convene in their car. "We should probably give Seungmin a call and let him know we're still alive," Chan says from where he sits behind the wheel.

Felix nods, "He won't believe what we have to tell him. It was absolutely nuts."

"I know, right?" Chan says in agreement, "I mean a world where we're all performers? That could never happen in real life." Felix hums in agreement as he reaches for his phone to dial Seungmin and fill him in on their escapades of today.

And that's the end to one of my favorite missions. It is just so random and chaotic and I had lots of fun writing it. I hope you all enjoyed this funny mission amongst all the dark and angsty main storyline. I also can't believe that we are at 20 chapters. There's still a lot to go, but this story is flying right by. I hope that you continue to support my story as we reach our 25 and 30th chapters. If you could, please vote, follow me, comment, add this story to your library and check out my other works here on Wattpad. Thank you again for reading. Bye!
