"Merlin's gone?"
   Those were the first words out of Rose's mouth at the news.
   The VKs only nodded, sadly.
   "We have to get him back!"
   "Don't you get it?" Gideon spoke up at last. "He's not coming back and we can't get to him! If we leave now, we can't come back!"
    "Actually," Rose said, "we can."
                          * * * * *
   "You want me to do what?" Lacey asked.
   "We have to go save Merlin and we need your help!" Rose explained.
   "I understand that part but you want me to steal the Black Fairy's wand and use it to open a portal?"
   "Actually, we need you to use it to make a small hole in the border to allow us to pass through and come back."
   "Why don't you get my mom to do it?"
   "Cuz she would never approve and this is important."
   "Gideon?" She gazed at him.
   "We need someone to stay here to ensure no one but us gets through the portal." She looked at Lacey with pleading eyes. "Please, Lacey, we need your help. I messed up but I don't want to lose him. What would you do if it was someone you loved?"
   Lacey sighed, glancing sideways at Gideon. If it was him, she'd run to his side so fast and never leave. "Ok. Let's do it."
   "Thank you!" Rose called. "We'll meet back here in an hour."
                 **One hour later***
   Elsa had insisted on fixing Rose up to make her better blend into the crowd of villains and villain kids. She had fitted her friend into a black and red corseted dress. Elsa herself was back in what she had worn before as was Gideon and Ruby. Before they left for the gate, Rose took the ring off of Merlin's bed. It was his, after all.

   They met Lacey who had the Black Fairy's wand in hand. She looked nervous, mostly because she had so closely almost been caught by the guard. Luckily, they had put Sleepy on guard duty so he fell asleep before he could round the corner where she'd been hiding.
   She did as Rose had instructed. Seconds later, Rose, Gideon, Elsa, and Ruby stepped through the portal and arrived at the Isle. Rose winced as she looked at it.
   As they moved, a gang of kids came walking down the same street as them. The VKs started down another street when they turned and realized Rose hadn't followed. They rushed back to her side in time to see her shout at the villains for picking on a younger girl.
   "Hey! Leave her alone!" Rose shouted.
   "Oh?" The leader asked. "And what are you gonna do about it?! Fight us?!"
   "If I have to." Rose stated plainly.
   That's when the VKs arrived to her aid. "Hey! Why don't you pick on someone your own size?!" Gideon shouted.
   The gang frowned when they noticed Gideon. "No thanks. Just keep a muzzle on your girlfriend, Gid." Then they ran off.
   Rose rushed over to check on the girl. "Are you ok?"
   She looked up at them in surprise. "Elsa?!" She rushed over to the blond. "You're back! And Ruby!" She hugged Ruby who already had her arms open for a hug. "Gid!" She shouted, jumping on Gideon.
    Elsa steered the girl over to Rose. "Elene, this is our friend, Rose. She's the queen of Storybrooke."
   "The queen saved me? Oh my God! That is so cool!" She hugged Rose excitedly. "Are you here to bring back some more VKs? Because I'd love to go to Storybrooke! It's my greatest dream!"
    "Well," Rose began, feeling guilty that she had never invited more VKs like she'd originally planned, "not yet. But I will soon!" She promised after seeing the look on Elene's face. "Right now, I'm here to find Merlin. Do you know where he is?"
   "Sure. He went to visit his cousin."
   "Oh that doesn't sound so bad! Where does his cousin live?"
   "Actually," Ruby said, "that's very bad. His cousin is a very bad guy and if he's gone to visit him, there's gonna be a fight."
    "Then we have to find him!" Rose shouted, desperately.
    "He'll be at his flat, getting Kilgharrah if he's going to see Mordred." Gideon reminded. "Just in case there's a fight."
    "Then what are we waiting for?" Rose shouted, turning and rushing off.
    "Elene, go home, ok? We'll handle this." Elsa said.
   The dark haired girl nodded then flounced off. The VKs ran to catch up to Rose who was looking lost as she walked around.
   "Ok, seriously, Rose!" Elsa said. "Stop wandering off! You don't know where you're going, what you're doing, and you stick out like a sore thumb! You need some help if you're gonna survive being here for more than a minute."

   They started showing her what they meant as they explained in song:

   Rose tried to copy their motions but couldn't quite get them down.

Gideon: Uh you need to not stare

   Rose had been glancing at a woman with ethereal blue eyes. When she hears Gideon's words, she blushed and turned away, embarrassed.

All: You need a whole lotta help
Elsa: You need to not be yourself
Ruby: You wanna be cool?
I can show you how
Gideon: You don't break the rules?
I can show you how
Elsa: And once you catch this feeling
Yea once you catch this feeling

Elsa: Chillin like a villain

  A guy in a coat and top hat waved Rose over and started showing off lots of trinkets he was carrying. Elsa grabbed Rose's hand and whisked her away.

Elsa: You draw attention when you act like that
Let us teach ya how to disappear
You look like you would lose a fight to an alley cat
Gotta be wrong to get it right round here
Ruby: *low growl*
All: You need to watch your back
You need to creep around
You need to slide real smooth

   Rose tried to follow their movements and ended up knocking over a bunch of trash cans.

Don't make a sound

Elsa: Seriously, you need to not be yourself
Ruby: You wanna be cool?
I can show you how
Gideon: You don't break the rules?
I can show you how

  At this point, Rose interrupted:

Rose: I really wanna be bad a lot
And I'm giving it my best shot

   She hugged each of her friends in turn.

But it's hard being what I'm not
Gideon: Well if you don't, you're gonna get us caught
Elsa: He's right
We gotta stay low key
Now show us how bad you can be
Rose: Like this?

   She pulled out Elsa's sunglasses and handed them to her.

Elsa: Yea yea yea
Rose: Like this?

   She held up Ruby's locket.
  
Ruby: Yea yea
Rose: Oh yea I think I got this
Let's go
I think I'm ready to rock this
And I ain't gonna thank you for your help
I think I found the worst in myself

   With that, they danced as they sang the words of "chillin like a villain" through to the end.
   "This is it." Elsa said as they reached a flat down one of the most graffiti-filled alleyways Rose had seen so far.
   "Right." Rose said, getting nervous again. "Wish me luck."
   Then, with that, she walked up the steps and knocked on the door.
