Maharaj Pandu had endured the sin of killing a sage, and thus with his wives Kunti and Madri went to forest so he could repent it.

By the time to take care of Hastinapur, his elder brother, the blind son of Ambika, Dhritrashtra was crowned as the regent King or the Karyakari Raja.

The blind man, always had the ambition to be King, he always had a greed for the throne. But his dreams were fulfilled only halfly, thus he wanted his child to become the sovereign ruler of Kuru-rashtra.

But it seems like his dreams were shattered as in the forest Pandu and Kunti obtained a daughter Yaudhevi from Yamraj. Now it was evident that her future husband will be King and she will be queen.

Hearing the news, Gandhari out of anger, violently hit her pregnant belly and almost aborted herself, she then gave birth to a mass of flesh. Gandhari was devastated because she had a boon for a 100 children.

It was then Ved Vyas came to her aid and cut the pieces of flesh in 100 pieces and places them in hundred jars filled with ghee.

On the other side in Gokul, the first wife of Vasudev, Rohini gives birth to a son Balram, none other than the ansh of Sheshnaag.

Sometime later in the forest Kunti and Pandu obtain another girl Vallabhi from Vayudev while in Hastinapur 100 children, the elder two were girls, Suyodhanaa and Sushasanaa, and the rest were boys.

Then comes a story night where Bhagwaan Vishnu himself takes birth as Shri Krishna in the jail of Mathura. And the next morning in Saurastra, Maharaj Kshitij and Maharani Ambika obtain a son from Varundev and name him Sagar.

Only six months later Pandu and Kunti obtain a glorious daughter from Devraj Indra, Parthvi. And soon Madri also obtains twin girls from Ashwini Kumaras, Nakulaa and Devami.

Everything was going well as the years passed. And then one day tragedy struck as Pandu dies and Madri in griefs becomes Sati on his pyre.

Kunti now left with 5 daughters to take care of goes to Hastinapur looking for love and respect of family.

It was then Suyodhana, the eldest daughter of Dhritrashtra comes to know that now she cannot be queen of Hastinapur because Yaudhevi is now the eldest princess of Hastinapur followed by Vallabhi.

The rivalry fueled by conspiracies of Soubalaa between the cousins was evident from Hastinapur to their days of Gurukul.

Suyodhanaa had befriended another girl from a Suta family, Karnika because she hated Parthvi due to Jealousy in archery.

On the other side, Shri Krishna and Balram had established Dwarika on the shores of Saurashtra and had befriended the young prince Sagar.

After the completion of Gurukul of Kuru princes, Karnika comes back to challenge Parthvi after obtaining knowledge of divine weapons from Parshuram.

Their teacher Guru Dronacharya asks for Guru Dakshina and tells his students to fight and win against Drupad and obtain half of his Kingdom Panchal for his son Ashwathama.

The children of Dhritrashtra and Karnika fail to do this and get captured but the Panduputris come in time and save their cousins and their friend. They also manage to defeat Drupad with the valor of Parthvi.

Defeated and deprived of half his Kingdom Drupad conducts a Yagya and obtains a son who will in future become capable of killing Dronacharya and thus from the fire emerges the a warrior, and Drupad names him Krishnav.
