CHAPTER 38

The Panduputris were awake and getting ready for the day, but right now they all seemed lost in thoughts of the man they had seen in their dreams, who posed as their husband.

'I cannot think like this, I am already married.' Yaudhevi shrugged it off.

'I am already married to Arya Sagar, then who was he claiming to be my husband ?' Vallabhi wondered.

'He was so handsome and so gentle.... No ! I cannot betray Arya Sagar by thinking like this !' Nakulaa shook her head.

'At this point I cannot even tell if I was dreaming or was it a premonition for something ?' Devami internally sighed.

"My sisters !" Parthvi came sprinting into the room happily.

They all looked at her and saw she was carrying a cage with a white mouse inside it.

"Arya Sagar sent this." Parthvi said excitedly.

"It's so cute and tiny !" Vallabhi said.

"I want to play with him." Nakulaa said.

She opened the gate of the cage and took the white mouse in her hand. She smiled petting it.

"Did he also send something else ?" Yaudhevi asked.

"He did." Parthvi said showing a chit.

She unfolded it and saw a message was written on it like yesterday.

••••••••••••••••••••••••
Why is mouse the only animal that survives a forest fire ?

Shouldn't the vahan of pratham puja be given the food first ?
••••••••••••••••••••••••

As Parthvi read out questions written on it the Panduputris frowned.

"Forest fire again ?" Yaudhevi muttered.

"Why is mouse the only animal that survives ? Because he digs a hole to escape from it !" Nakulaa said.

"This bhavan has only one door at the front, just like the burrow of a mouse." Devami said.

"And I think from the second question Arya meant we must feed what we eat to this mouse first. There is surely a conspiracy here." Parthvi said.

Yaudhevi frowned at she tried to analyse each and every word behind Sagar's messages.

"Forest fire.... Next season..... Mouse..... Burrow....... A hole..... Got it !" Yaudhevi proclaimed.

"What Jiji ?" Vallabhi asked.

"This place will be set on fire. We too should dig a hole if we want to survive." Yaudhevi said.

"Jiji but from where will be find a trust worthy miner in Varnavart ?" Parthvi asked.

Suddenly a maid entered the room, and all of them got out of stance and pretended as if nothing had happened.

"Hail the princesses ! Mahamantri Vidur has sent a man to meet you." The maid said.

"Send them in." Yaudhevi said.

The maid left and sent the man Vidur had sent. Seeing him Panduputris smiled as he carried mining tools in hand.

"Pranipat Rajkumariyo ! Mahamantri Vidur has sent me to dig a tunnel for your safety." The miner said.

"Marvellous." The Panduputris smiled.
