Third Person's POV

The group is gathered in Marucho's office and none of them exchanged a word, still processing what happened the other day in the battle between Marucho and Ren.

"What just happened?" Jake asks.

"I can't believe he betray Marucho like that!" Dan angrily stated.

"I guess little Marooch is taking it pretty hard, isn't he?" Jake then ask looking at Dan.

"Yeah, he's been hiding out in his house ever since" Shun adds.

Fabia frowns feeling sorry for the shorter Brawler.

"I can't blame Marucho for feeling like that" everyone looks at Weiss "I mean...out all of us Marucho's grew attached to Ren and he took advantage of it, I perfectly get where Marucho's coming from" Weiss then said.

"I should probably go check on him" Dan said before trying to leave.

"Wait, I think it's better if you just leave him be" Shun said

"Don't you care about your friend?" Dan asks the Ventus Brawler.

"Of course I do but-" Shun tries to respond but Dan cuts him off.

"Marucho needs our support let's go" Dan said before the door behind him opens showing Marucho walking in.

"I finally did it!" Marucho state.

"Finally did what, buddy?" Dan ask.

Marucho tap on his BakuMeter as Akwimos appears.

"Akwimos?" Drago confusedly ask.

"I don't understand what's the big deal about Akwimos?" Shun asks.

"Just take a listen" Marucho simply said before poking Akwimos who opens up.

Akwimos floats toward Drago "Cool is the rule dude!" He said startling everyone minus the two Haos Brawlers.

"Cool how did you get him to talk?" Dan asks looking at Akwimos out of amazement.

"Ever since Jake mentioned that only real Bakugan speak I've been working on a speech program for the digital ones" Marucho said.

Akwimos goes to Drago and says the phrase "Cool is the rule, dude" repeatedly while Drago tries to shoo him off.

"Why does he keep saying that over and over?" Shun asks.

"I've programed him to have a laid back personality and this is what the speech generator came up with it randomly" Marucho explains.

Dan chuckles "laid back, huh?" Dan asks.

Marucho smiles "you bet!" Marucho responds

Dan then smiles at Marucho "Well, buddy, looks like you're in better spirits"

Marucho nods "we got Gundalians to fight, I can't stay depressed forever" he responds.

Weiss nods "that's good to know, we were worried, though"

Marucho shakes his head "I'm sorry I worry you if I did" he said.

Waven hops on Weiss' Shoulder and opens up "What matters is the fact that we know that you're okay"

"Cool is the rule, dude!" Wavern startles at Akwimos' words only for Drago to push the clone away.

"Back off!" He yells at Akwimos

Marucho then notices Fabia looking down at the table since she's been silent the entire conversation which the other also noticed.

"You're awfully quiet, Fabia, what's the matter?" He asks the only female of the group who seems startled by the questions.

"It's nothing" Fabia answers.

"But you're sure about that? You can tell us anything you know" Dan then said.

"If you wish to, you're not obligated to" Weiss adds

Fabia sighs "Sometimes, I worry if you guys ever really believe me" Dan looks confused "after being deceived by Ren, how can you extend your trust so easily?" Fabia asks "surely you guys must have a lot of doubts about me" she said.

Weiss thought about it and frowns in thought "if I'm honest, I don't even know the answer myself" Weiss agrees making everyone look back at the gray hair male "even though I normally don't trust people this easily, but I just have this feeling...that I should" he explains.

Dan chuckles before turning to "Ha, don't worry about it, we trust you" Dan then assures Fabia "when we saw how angry you got about Bakugan being used in war, we knew you felt the same way we did" Dan tells her.

"I see..." Fabia mutters

"That's all the proof we needed, we're on the same side, Fabia" Dan tells her.

Hearing this make Fabia feel moved by Dan's words "Yes we are" Fabia said before place three Bakugan on the table "I think it's time I give you these" she said.

Weiss recognizes the color schemes "are those the real Hawktor, Akwimos and Coredem?" He asks the Princess.

Fabia nods "Yes, I brought them from. Neathia" she answers.

"Just what I always wanted, awesome! A real Bakugan" Jake cheered making everyone look at Jake.

Holly Angel opens up from Weiss other shoulder "someone's sure happy" he said.

Weiss and Wavern giggle silently.

Hawktor floats to Shun's shoulder "hello there, I'm Shun" Shun greets the real Hawktor.

"Whoa, you're the Ninja" Hawktor states sounding surprised.

"That's right" Shun responds.

"That's awesome, maybe you can help me with my stealth attacks; I'm usually more crash and bang with things, but I know sometimes the sub approach which is better, what do you say" Hawktor said which Shun seems surprised with how much he spoke.

"Huh?" Shun questions.

"H-Hey uh... m-my name is Jake" Jake introduces himself to the real Coredem.

"That's a strong name, nice to meet you Jake" Coredem responds.

"Oh man! The real Coredem is the coolest!" Jakes cheerfully states.

Marucho bows to the Real Akwimos "my name is Marucho, I'm very pleased to meet you Akwimos" he said.

"What's up little kid?" Akwimos responds

"Wha?" He questions when he hears Akwimos' first words to him.

"Not the rock baby" Akwimos said.

"O-okay" Marucho said before he and the Bakugan shared a friendly fist bump.

"Cool is the rule, dude!" The clone get in between them

"Woah, cool is the rule, huh? I like that" Akwimos said.

"Oh it's just a little something I programed it to say" Marucho explains as the Clone Akwimos says the phrase again.

"Yeah, I dig it man, I think I'm gonna use it myself if you don't mind, check it" Akwimos said before clearing his throat "Cool is the rule dude!" He then said it with a laugh

Dan laughs "this is a real trip man" Dan said.

"No kidding" Drago agrees.

Weiss decides to sit down and looks at his notebook and check on the song's he wrote not too long ago as he simply  not listen to what the others are doing before hearing a alarm going off.

Weiss closes the notebook and places it on the seat and goes up to see Ren along with Zenet, Sid, Lena, Mason, and Jesse with two brawlers before being teleported to Gundalia.

"What just..." Dan asks but he couldn't finish his question.

"He's taking children back to Gundalia with him to fight" Fabia informs.

"He's toast" Dan said before he and the others run out of the office.

-scene changed-

Ren just teleported two more brawlers into Gundalia.

"Who's next" Ren asks.

"Knock it off Ren!" Dan yells as Ren sees the battle brawlers running up to him

"Look who showed up" Sid said "is my favorite cutie" he winks at Weiss who seems confused while Shun, Jake and Dan did not like that, Ren also did not like how Sid addressed the grayette male but keep his composure.

"You've got some nerve showing your face around here, Ren; you got no business here" Dan said "do you hear me you creep!" Dan yells but Weiss stops him before Dan could take it too far.

"I believe he heard enough, now is our Bakugan's turn to talk" Weiss tells Dan before Holly Angel hops on his shoulder and opens up.

"Weiss' right we shouldn't get away with this"

"Actually Dan, you're wrong very wrong" Ren said as he and the other made their leave.

Before Dan could even stop them two brawlers appear our of nowhere facing them as Mason and Sid are staying behind

"Actually you'll be battling with us" the boy said.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Dan questions.

"I recognize you two, you guys are Casey and Taylor" Marucho reveals.

"You know them?" Weiss asks.

"Yeah they're two of out top brawlers" Marucho explains.

"Go ahead and do your thing, guys; we'll come back for you a little later" Sid said.

Wiess tilts his head hearing that 'what does he mean by that?' He asks before looking at Fabia who seems as suspicious as Weiss is 'I'm guessing she notices it too' he adds.

"Something strange is going on Aranaut" Fabia whispers to her partner who hops on her shoulder and opens up.

"Strange how?"

"I'm not sure" Fabia responds.

"Hypnosis" Weiss hears Wavern whispering while hopping on his shoulder and opens up "I sense that these Casey and Taylor kids are in some sort of tranced and forcing them to become soldiers against their will" Wavern states.

"Woah for real?" Weiss asks.

"Is the most common cause of why they would challenge to fight us out of nowhere" wavern explains.

"I see..." Weiss nods before looking at Dan and the others "guys they've been brainwashed by the Gundalians" Weiss reveals.

"What!?" The brawlers questioned out of shock not noticing that Fabia snuck out to follow Ren.

"Wavern just told me" Weiss explains.

"Maybe if we beat them we can snap them out of it" Dan guesses.

"Weiss" he hears someone calling for him he looks over and sees Shun looking at him.

Weiss realizes "y-you want me to team up with you?" He asks.

Shun nods "Yes, if you're okay"

"S-Sure, I don't mind" Weiss agrees.

-scene change-

"The Battle between Weiss and Shun vs Mason and Taylor commence!" The announcer yells.

Mason's Life Force: 100%
Taylor's Life Force: 100%
Shun's Life Force: 100%
Weiss' Life Force: 100%

"Bakugan Field Open!" The announcer yells as the field flashes making it accessible to battle.

Weiss pulls out a Gate Card "Gate Card Set!" He yells before he throws his Gate card and the field flashes with a yellow light "Bakugan, Brawl!" Weiss throws Holly Angel to the field "Bakugan Stand! Go Haos Trickstar Holly Angel!"

"Time for me to steal the show!" Holly Angel states.

'So this is Haos Trickstar Holly Angel, this is going to be interesting' Mason thinks while eying Weiss 'what make you to make Sid and Ren grow a interest in you?' Mason wonders "Bakugan Brawl!" He yells sending Avior to the field "Bakugan Stand! Rise Subterra Avior!" Mason adds as his Bakugan rises

"Bakugan Brawl!" The girl name Taylor yelled whole Throwing a Darkus Bakugan to the field "Bakugan Stand! Come on Darkus Venoclaw!"

Trickstar Holly Angel: 900
Avior: 900
Venoclaw: 800

"Let's see what you got, girl" Mason said to Taylor.

Taylor pulls out a card "Ability activate, Lag-Range Dark Matter!" Taylor yells.

Holly Angel gets surrounded by purple aura and feels strangled by it making her groan in pain.

"Holly Angel!" He calls his partner

Trickstar Holly Angel: 900 - 600

"I-I can't move!" Holly Angel state

"Bakugan Brawl!" Shun yelled before throwing Hawktor to the field "Bakugan Stand! Go Ventus Hawktor!" He yells as Hawktor.

"Time to show that they messed with the wrong ninja" Hawktor said

"Ability Activate, Ninja Defense - Wild Wind Dance!" Shun yells as Hawktor releases gust of wind nullifying Venoclaw's ability.

Holly Angel gets released from the Ability as Hawktor flies towards her "Are you okay?" He asks the Haos Bakugan.

Holly Angel stares at Hawktor for a moment before nodding "I am fine thanks to you" she responds.

Weiss nods and looks focused as he sees Mason moving to his BakuMeter before he gasps "Shun heads up!" He warns the Ventus Brawler.

"How about we try a new trick" Mason said before he taps on his BakuMeter

"Ready, Lashor" a computer voice said

Mason grabs the Battle Gear "Battle Gear Boost!" He throws the Battle to Avior.

This surprises both Shun and Weiss "check this out" Mason said as they all see Avior flying up in the air "It's even more impressive in action, Battle Gear Ability activate, Lashor Heavy Striker!" Mason yells he fires beams at both Hawktor and Holly Angel.

"Ability Activate, Shadow leach!" Taylor yells as Holly Angel and Hawktor kneels as they felt their power level draining.

Avior: 900 - 1400
Venoclaw: 800 - 1200

Hawktor: 900 - 100
Trickstar Holly Angel: 900 - 100

"Take that" Avior said.

"Ability activate, Swords of Revealing Light!" Avior hears as he and Venoclaw were surrounded by three sword-shaped pillars of yellow light before both Bakugan gate electro shocking both Bakugan much to Both Mason and Taylor's surprise.

"Now time for the Final act" Weiss said before looking at Shun "Shun would you do the honors" he offers.

Shun nods before pulling out a ability card "Ability Activate, Bolting Fang, Combat Slug Shot!" Shun shouts as Hawktor spins rapidly while surrounding himself with green gust of wind.

"Ability Activate, Trickstar Fortissimo!" like Hawktor Holly Angel spins as light energy surrounds her body and she charges at the opposing Bakugan covered in yellow light

Hawktor: 100 - 800
Trickstar Holly Angel: 100 - 1200

Avior: 1400 - 1100
Venoclaw: 800 - 300

"What the?" Avior questions before getting tackled by Hawktor and Holly Angel hits Venoclaw who turn into its ball form and flies towards Weiss instead of Taylor.

Taylor's Life Force: 100% - 0%

Taylor groans in pain as a dark aura flies out of her, making her look back up looking confused "w-what just happened to me?" She asked.

"Hey, looks like we got Taylor back" Shun states.

"That's a relief" Weiss agrees.

Dan who's with them watching the brawl "Hey, better hurry and dive out! You're in danger staying here!" Dan yells at Taylor who's confused "don't ask questions just go!" He yells.

"Uh, okay!" She said before running off the arena.

"While you two are at it, I'll go check on Jake and Marucho if they manage to save Casey!" Dan informs both Weiss and Shun before running off "don't do anything funny, Shun" he adds which Weiss looks confused with what he means by that.

"Weiss, Take us home!" Shun yells which Weiss look back at the Battle

"Right!" The Grayette agreed "Now Gate Card Open, Haos Reactor!" The field gets covered in light as Holly Angel gets covered in light

Trickstar Holly Angel: 1200 - 1300

"Now Ability Activate, Holly Blessing!" Weiss yells.

Trickstar Holly Angel: 1300 - 1600

Holly Angel fires a barrage of yellow balls of light hitting Avior square in the face.

Mason's Life Force: 100% - 0%

"Battle Over, winners are Shun and Weiss!" Weiss catches Holly Angel and smiles at himself.

"Weiss" Shun calls Weiss who turns to him "we did it" he said.

Weiss smiles at Shun "Yeah!" He responds before chuckling before seeing Shun's about to be logging out, Shun then banishes from sight "Shun!" Weiss calls before glaring at Mason "What did you do!?" He demands.

"I can answer that question for you, Weiss" Weiss looks back and sees Ren standing there "as of this moment, Bakugan Interspace is under my soul control"

Weiss frowns "Ren...I would've guessed" he said "you hacked the computer and forced Dan and the others out? Why didn't you send me with them?"

"I have better plans for you, if you want them back inside Bakugan Interspace, you must face some of us in a battle" Ren said

"I'd already beat four of you and I beat one of them twice" Weiss points out.

"I know but don't worry you don't have to face either Sid, or Lena, or Zenet or even Mason"

"Hey!" Mason called sounding offended.

"Then, who's my opponent?" He asks.

Ren roll his eyes at Mason's words before looking back at the grayette "You'll be facing me in a battle" he tells the Haos Brawler.

"You?" Weiss ask.

Ren nods "Yes, under one condition, you'll be facing me in front of a life audience" this made Weiss' eyes widen with shock hearing this from Ren "and you only battle using Wavern so don't bring Holly Angel into the mix" he adds.

Weiss looks shock and looks down for a moment 'me in front of a crowd?' Weiss asks in his thoughts before realizing something 'actually, I have never been ranked here, haven't I?' He adds before exhaling in defeat "fine... I'll do it, I'll face you in front of the crowd"

Wavern hops on Weiss' shoulder "You're going to pay for ejecting Drago and the others out of Bakugan Interspace" Wavern tells Ren sounding angry which was shocking for him since he met Wavern he'd never seen her acting angry at someone.

"Wavern..." Weiss said.

"Well then, I'll be seeing you here in the same arena, but with a life audience" Ren said before walking away teleporting to who knows where.

"Now I see what He and Sid were interested in you" Mason said before teleporting too leaving Weiss and Wavern alone.

"I can't believe we been dragged into this mess" he groans in annoyance "Shun, Dan, Marucho, Jake, Fabia... they're counting on me now, I've been a Battle Brawler for a short time, but I feel that their reputation is on my shoulders as of now" Weiss said.

"You're right, but remember you're not alone"

Holly Angel hops on his other shoulder and opens up "Wavern's right, Weiss; you have us, although I won't be battling, but I know that you and Waverns can pull this off" she assures her partner.

Weiss nods "Yeah..." he looks at Where Ren was standing "Everyone... we won't let you down" he promises with determination.
