Third Person's POV

Weiss slowly opens his eyes and sees that he's at what seems like a infirmary and sits up and looks around and then sees Shun sitting on a chair close to him as Weiss reaches to poke Shun's shoulder.

"Shun... Shun wake up" the silver hair male calls the Ninja boy.

Shun hums and opens his eyes and sees Weiss awake "You're okay now?" He asks with concern.

Weiss nods "Yeah, I am; sorry I worry you if I did" Weiss apologizes.

Shun sigh sounding relief "What's important that you're okay" he said with a small smile.

Weiss smiles back before looking down on his lap "the whole Ren lying fiasco really drained me mentally and emotionally" he then said frowning in disappointment and hurt of betrayal "I can't blame Marucho" he then said making Shun look at the Haos Brawler in bed "I'm sure that Marucho's in denial that Ren would do bad things, I mean...I would behave the same if we swap roles" he then admits.

Shun places a hand on top of Weiss' "you're a very kind person, Weiss" Weiss then looks at Shun "regardless of knowing us for a short time, you care for us" he said.

Waven and Holly Angel hops on both Weiss' shoulders "Shun's right, Weiss that's why we chose you to be our partner" Waven explains which Shun and Holly Angel agree with the Bakugan.

"You guys..." Weiss looks at the two Bakugan and the Ventus Brawler feeling moved "thank you" he smiles.

"You know Weiss, you should smile more, it seems nice for you" Holly Angel said.

Weiss looks unsure but nods "maybe" he looks at Shun "how long I was out?" He asks.

"Half a hour" Shun responds.

Weiss nods "I see..." he then tries to get out of bed.

"The nurse said that you can get out of  bed since the fever cool down" Shun explains.

Weiss looks shocked "that bad I was?" He asks.

Shun nods "but you're fine now, that's what matters" he said.

Weiss sighs and nods "You're right" he said "I think is best if we leave Marucho alone for now, because this will help Marucho get the sad reality" he said which the others agreed.

"Come on, I believe Fabia's telling the others her side of the story" Shun suggests as Weiss nod and with that the two of them left the infirmary before seeing a holographic screen of Ren and Marucho brawling at a empty arena.

"Marucho's battling Ren, we must inform the others" Weiss states "you go, I'll check on Marucho!"

"Are you sure? You just woke up" Shun said hesitated.

"I'm aware but half a hour is more than enough for me to be fully rested, I'll be okay, promise" Weiss assures Shun before running to the arena that Marucho and Ren are.

"Please, be careful Weiss" he mutters.

-meanwhile-

Marucho's Life force: 40%
Ren's Life force: 100%

"I just realized, we've never battled each other before, have we friend?" Ren questions Marucho.

"I must admit, I always thought we might face each other in battle, but not under circumstances like these" Marucho responds.

Ren groan in annoyance "Sorry to disappoint you! Gate Card set!" He yells angrily before throwing a Gate Card to the field "Bakugan Brawl!" He then yells while sending Linehalt to the field "Bakugan Stand! Let's go Darkus Linehalt!"

Linehalt: 900

Ren notices that Marucho seems hesitant "What's wrong, Marucho? Let's fight!" He tells the shorter boy

"Come on Akwimos let's do this! Bakugan Brawl!" Marucho yells as he throws a Bakugan to the field "Bakugan Stand! Let's win this Aquos Akwimos!"

Akwimos: 900

"Ability Activate, Dark Saber" Ren yells as Linehalt creates a glowing purple saber attending to strike at Akwimos who dodges on time.

Akwimos: 900 - 600

Linehalt chase after Akwimos attending to strike the Aquos Bakugan clone.

"Ability Activate, Shadow Pincer!" Marucho yells as Akwimos pulls out glowing red claws on his gauntlets blocking Linehalt's attack

Akwimos: 600 - 900

Ren looks impress "not too bad, Gate Card open, Element Merge!" Ren yells as the ground glows white.

Akwimos could feel it's energy draining as a blue aura begins to fly off Akwimos toward Linehalt.

"Oh no Akwimos' power levels been absorbed" Marucho states out of worried for the Aquos Bakugan.

Linehalt: 900 - 1100
Akwimos: 900 - 700

"Ability Activate, Depht World!" Marucho yells as water begins to appear on the field.

"Water?" Ren questions out of confusion.

"Yep Akwimos states no one in the water" Marucho answers.

Akwimos traps Linehalt in a water dome before charging at the Darkus Bakugan tackling him various times in high speed.

Akwimos: 700 - 1100

"Get out of there Linehalt!" Ren tells his partner.

Linehalt gets outlined by purple light before successfully getting himself out of the Water.

"Battle Gear time" Ren says to himself before summoning a Battle Gear from his BakuMeter.

"Ready Boomix" the computer voice said while Ren takes the Battle Gear.

"Battle Gear Boost!" Ren yells while throwing the Battle Gear to Linehalt.

Linehalt: 1100 - 1300

"Okay Ren we can go there too!" Marucho then said before summoning his Battle Gear.

"Ready Gigarth" the computer voice said as Marucho grabs the mentioned Battle Gear.

"Let's do this! Battle Gear Boost!" Marucho yells while throwing the Battle Gear to Akwimos.

Akwimos: 1100 - 1300

"Battle Gear Ability Activate, Boomix Lock!" Ren yells.

Linehalt fires a blast from a big blaster that he carries over his shoulder

Akwimos: 1300 - 700

"Ability Activate, ocean booster!" Marucho yells as a wall of water rise between the battling Bakugan as the blast hits the wall.

"You brought your power level back!?" Ren asked.

"I told you that Akwimos couldn't been beaten when it came to water combat" Marucho explains to Ren before pulling out his Battle Gear Ability card "Okay, Battle Gear Ability Activate, Gigarth Pointer" Marucho yells.

Akwimos fires water blast from his Battle Gear gaining more G power as Linehalt loses

Akwimos: 1000 - 1300
Linehalt: 1300 - 1000

"What!?" Ren questions with shock.

Linehalt takes the attack and turns back into his ball form much for Ren's annoyance.

Ren's Life force: 100% - 40%

Weiss then appears "Marucho!" The silver hair male calls the blonde who look over his shoulder he looks at the points 'this round should be decided' he thinks as he hears more steps as Dan and the others including Fabia joins them.

Marucho then throws a Gatecard while he and Ren send out their Bakugan back to the Battlefield.

"This is it Marucho!" Ren announces Marucho.

"Come on! Bring it on, Ren!" Marucho responds.

"Ability Activate, Dark Jabeline!" Ren yells.

Linehalt summons what seems like a trident and charges at Akwimos with it.

Linehalt: 900 - 1300
Akwimos: 900 - 500

"Ability Activate, Shadow Claw Double!" Marucho yells.

Akwimon pulls out red claws of both gauntlets before charging at Linehalt.

Akwimos 500 - 800
Linehalt: 1300 - 1000

Both Bakugan begin to exchange blows with their respective activated ability.

"Keep going! Ability Activate, Darkness Blizzard!" Ren yelled.

Linehalt spread his wing before summoning a hard gust of purple blizzard at the Aquos Bakugan which it hit.

Akwimos 800 - 300
Linehalt: 1000 - 1500

Marucho sees Akwimos collapsing to his knees "Akwimos!" Marucho calls the Bakugan.

"Ren's Battling really hard" Shun states.

"That lying creep" Dan mutters in anger.

"That dude has no heart not only did he betray little Marooch, but now he's rubbing his face in it" Jake states.

Weiss then looks at Ren's face he could see the hesitation in his face 'something's wrong is like he's been forced to do this' he thinks.

'I have to do this, my people are counting on me' Ren states in his mind before he summons Boomix again "Battle Gear Boost!" Ren yells while throwing Boomix at Linehalt.

Linehalt: 1500 - 1700

Holly Angel and Wavern look at Weiss  who seems terrified by the certain comparison of both Bakugan's Power level.

Meanwhile Marucho summons Gigarth and throws it at Akwimos.

Akwimos: 300 - 400

'That won't be enough' Weiss thought before remembering 'the gate card!' He he states in his mind.

"Gate Card open, Element Merge!" Marucho yells as Linehalt's gets his power drained.

Akwimos: 400 - 900
Linehalt: 1700 - 1200

Weiss sighs with relief "I suppose you think you're clever using a command card that sucks up five hundred points from the opponent's power level" Weiss looks at Ren "but I have to tell you, I am not impressed!" He yells, Battle Gear Ability Activate, Boomix Lock!" Ren yells while Linehalt charges a blast from his cannon.

Akwimos: 900 - 400

"I can't believe you, Ren; I treated you like a brother and you stabbed me in the back, I'll never make that mistake again" Marucho claims.

"It wasn't supposed to be personal; there are things at stake here you wouldn't understand!" Ren responds.

Marucho clenches his fist which Weiss feels sorry for the shorter Brawler "I trusted you, Ren" Ren looks shocked at Marucho's cold tone "Brawlers welcomed you into our family, Battle Gear Ability Activate, Gigarth Hydrizer" Marucho yells.

"Engage!" Both Brawlers yelled as their Bakugan fire blast from their respective Battle Gears.

Akwimos: 400 - 900
Linehalt: 1200 - 700

In the en Marucho's ability overpowers Ren's causing Linehalt to get hit by Akwimos' Battle Gear ability, forcing the Darkus Bakugan to turn back into his ball form.

Ren's Life force: 40% - 0%

"Battle Over, Winner: Marucho!" The announcer yells as Marucho still has an angry expression on his face which concerns Weiss.

Dan and Jake cheers before they along with the others run up to catch up with Marucho.

Meanwhile Ren goes to pick up Linehalt and looks at Marucho "I knew you were good, Marucho, but I have no idea you were that good" Ren tells Marucho.

Linehalt flies on Ren's shoulder and opens up "We're coming for you next time Drago and Wavern" Linehalt finally speaks.

"Woah did he just speak?" Jake questions out of shock.

Drago and Waven hop on their respective partner's shoulder "So you've been lying about your true identity as well, Linehalt?" Drago asks.

"I had a feeling you would" Wavern then said.

"Marucho, we can still be friends; leave the brawlers and come with us" Ren offers the Aquos Brawler.

"Get lost!" Dan objects.

Marucho steps away from Ren while still looking down "you must take me for a fool if you think I'd ever go with you" Marucho looks up with angry tears wilding up his eyes "I would never leave my family for a dishonest poser like you, you got me?" Marucho states.

Ren looks surprised as Marucho growls in anger before feeling a hand on his shoulder Marucho looks over and sees Weiss.

Ren also looks at Weiss "Weiss..." he mutters.

Weiss instead of glaring he looks at Ren with sadness and hurt for the betrayal "there's no point in talking anymore, Ren; You may think of this as a waste of breath, but trust me when I say this, once you realize what you lost you won't be able to find anyone else who would accept you if you were honest from the very beginning" he said.

Ren looks down "very well, as of now, our friendship is completely over, Marucho, Weiss" he said before glowing in rainbow light much for everyone's but Fabia's surprised as Ren's appearance changes drastically revealing his true Gundalian form.

"So this is how you really look" Shun questions.

"The next time we meet we'll be enemies" Ren then said before teleporting away leaving shocked Weiss and Marucho as Dan and Shun tried to stop him but the effort was futile.

"I'm sorry Marucho" Weiss apologize.

Marucho looks at Weiss confused "What do you mean?" He asks.

"I know how much you valued your friendship with Ren, just for you to know, if you need someone to talk to, I'm here" he tells him with a closed eyes smiles

Then a memory flash before his eyes

-flash back-

"Hey Marucho, if you need someone to talk to, I'm right here" a unfamiliar voice echoed before the memory flash bringing Marucho back to reality.

-end of Flashback-

"O-Oh, right, thanks Weiss" Marucho thanked the gray hair male 'W-What was that? Better yet, who was that?' He questions in his thoughts.

Shun's POV

Now that we knew the truth about  Ren's Identity, Fabia thought it would be safe to replace our digital clone Bakugan with the original ones; everyone was excited to be battling with real Bakugan partners once again, Although it was going to take a little getting used to, meanwhile the Battlers that were kidnapped by the Gundalians were ordered by Ren to challenge us to a Brawl, they came at us pretty fast and hard but we were ready for them, tune in to see how we take cares of these brainwashed Brawlers; Let's go Hawktor, Bakugan Brawl! Let's see how the real you battle.
