Captured
~•°•~
It was nighttime, the darkness of the night brought a strange cold throughout her otherwise empty house. Oftentimes, Lyra walked the halls of her house, getting used to the loneliness that surrounded her.
Maybe it was the freak encounter with the conceited and dubious wolf that threateningly scared her. The wolf knew too much, she feared she would vacate her eyes and find a safe place. But running was only fruitless, it wouldn't change anything. She planned to talk to him peacefully.
Every Seeker was tasked to capture rogues and wolves that knew other packs.
Jasper as the head Seeker would only mean he had the skill set to exact the very things a Seeker could do, only ten times better. But how could a group of highly trained wolves have a teenager as their leader?
Lyra stood in front of the bathroom mirror, her eyes trained on the strand of silver hair on her forehead. It was a clear sign of her fate. Due to her not shifting for three years, her wolf had started to cleave itself away from its human. After a little bit more time, then she would finally be freed of those that bound her to her old life.
Her concentration was broken off when a sudden clap of thunder burst, taking her by surprise. Her heartbeat quickened as the mirror in front of her shattered, the small window above the medicine cabinet flew open and the electricity started to fluctuate, turning the bathroom into a temporary horror scene of flickering lights. The lights went on and off for a few seconds until the sound of glass breaking suddenly shook her until finally, the lights went to pitch black.
She gasped, immediately opening the medicine cabinet behind the mirror, using her hands to feel the indent of a flashlight.
She sighed as her hands found what it was looking for. She frantically tried to turn it on, but then she remembered, she took out the batteries to power up the lamps that she lost at school.
“Fuck.” she cursed, realizing she had fucked up big time.
A moment passed when the lights flickered back, illuminating the whole house. She moved slowly, watching her steps.
Maybe she was going paranoid or something but the shattering sound of glass being thrown to pieces seemed oddly real. Her heart squeezed as she entered the kitchen, where the glass window had been broken.
Someone had broken in!
Her senses on high as she spun around, the familiar scent of the boy who was just here a couple of hours ago entered her nose.
‘Jasper?’ She thought. Her hand instinctively grabbed a frying pan that hung above her stove and prepared to strike.
“A frying pan?” Jasper spoke, his back firmly pressed against the door frame. He looked at her intensely, making her narrowed her eyes in retaliation. “Why not a knife, here.” He tossed her a knife. Her free hand shot up, grabbing the tip of the knife between her fingers.
“What are you doing here?” She asked.
His cryptic smile let her heart freeze as he took two steps near her. His ruffled hair covered the intent in his eyes but the way he cautiously moved in a parrying stance made her feel a bit too uneasy.
“I need you to pack your things,” he demanded. “My Alpha will be pleased to speak with you.”
“What?” she sounded surprised as if she was going to the Northerner’s land and meet her old mate.
“You are not deaf, I said pack your things. We head out immediately.” His dismissive tone made her blood rush to her head.
“You’re a kid.” she narrowed her eyes, trying another tactic to find a weakness in his dauntless stance. “What harm can you do?”
He chuckled, “Well for starters,” he pulled out a gun, the stench of silver suddenly hitting her nose. A gun loaded with silver bullets, with the intent to kill. “I have a gun.”
Her heartbeat quickened as she thought of another plan, this time involving physical combat. She threw the frying pan and knife at him, making him duck as she zoomed out of the kitchen. Jasper shot a few, the bullets hitting and passing through the wall, into the cabinets and cupboards.
“Infirma!” He bellowed as she ran towards the living room.
Adrenaline rushed through her as she panicked, her breathing was sporadic, and her thoughts flew like fireworks.
She saw the stairs that lead to the second floor, ‘My silver dagger, it's in my room.’
She ran with all her might, tripping on the stairs and hitting her head on the steps. But she never stopped, she knew she needed to survive. So she pushed herself through the pain, her feet clacking against the floor.
“Lupin Ifirma!” she stopped in her tracks as his chilling scream entered her ears. “Come here!”
She watched in horror as he jumped twenty feet from where he was into the second floor.
“Checkmate,” he shot her. The bullet hitting her just above the hip. Her wolf whimpered in pain, as both of them felt the bullet sliced through her body.
“Ah!” she screamed in pain. “You monster!” She crashed on the floor.
“You act like you're not one of us. An Alpha leads and protects his people, the Luna provides love and prosperity, a Beta facilitates, the pack members follow, even the Omega, although worthless still has a place in a pack. An Infirma like you? You deserve to be tied up and placed under the sun, starved, and keelhauled.” he laughed.
He was laughing too loud. His menacing grin made her skin crawl. She fought hard to hide the tears that threatened to break through her eyes. She shook tremendously as she looked up, meeting his eyes.
“You...”
“Speak up Infirma, I don't like it when someone babbles.” he rolled his eyes.
With the last energy she had, she raised her head and spat on his shoes. A disappointed look on his face show.
“You're shit,” she whispered.
With a sudden blow, she felt his foot contact her stomach, forcing the air out of her body. Her skin felt cold and her head felt light. The light within her disappeared with Jasper’s frowning face the last thing she ever saw.
“And you're pathetic, you cot.”

Ignacios meekly sat on his swiveling chair. His elbows were placed atop of his mahogany desk. It was daybreak, the sunlight entered through the superfluous window behind him.
He felt his skin crawl as he silently waited for the two wolves he had summoned. Diego his Beta and Lois, his mate.
In all honesty, she never really meant that much to him. She was responsible for his rise in control of the body he used.
He heard the knock that he was waiting for. “Come in,” he says.
The door opened and Lois entered. Her demure facade masking the abyssal ruin that she was. Diego had his head bowed down, his eyes stuck to his feet as he followed Lois in.
“Good morning, blessed day.” He smirked, the control he had over them made him smile.
Just to see his Beta Diego shiver in fear made his adrenaline rush. He loved being in control, while his human was meek and timid, he as the wolf lead straightforward.
“Ignacios.” Lois bowed her head.
“My Alpha,” Diego muttered lowly.
“I just—”
“My Alpha, I can explain please sir.” Diego pleaded, his knees struck the floor as he looks his Alpha straight in the eyes. “Don't punish the Luna for what I have done. Any punishment you give her, I will represent myself as a tribute.”
He didn't care, he never thought about it even for once. All he wanted to have was power, control everything at his will.
He narrowed his eyes at him, the desperation in Diego’s eyes caused him to chuckle. He shook his head in amusement.
‘How pathetic.’ He thought.
This is why he loved being in control. He loved it when wolves cower before him.
“Calm down Diego, I just wanted to ask for updates on the border.” he vehemently watched as he raised his chin, his eyes lowered down to his shaking beta.
Diego cleared his throat, “The head Seeker, Jasper Welch has arrived. He has a wolf with him, the one you exiled. Lyra Montefalco.”
“What?” Lois gasped, her eyes widened.
“And why did he bring back a wolf I have sent away?” He asked, his voice sounding very serious.
It was his real mate, the wolf who had the most docile smile and striking gaze. He felt his human move, at the very mention of her name, it was all it took for the real Ignacios to move.
He smirked, ‘Maybe now I can get rid of him.’
“Bring them in,” He ordered, the villainous grin on his face stayed as the thought of cleaving his human excited him.
“Yes, Alpha.” Diego nodded and left the room.
His eyes spot Lois, her head bowed down and the clear chill on her body made him want to laugh.
“I should go,” she said, meeting his gaze as she silently quivered with fear.
Lois was always like this, always wanting to hide how she felt. But her think act was nothing more than a stupid play for him.
“No, Lois,” he said. “Stay and let the monster do his job. Let me show you.”
Lois’ eyes looked like it was about to spill tears any second now.
“Yes, Ignacios.” she lowered her gaze.
He spun to look outside the window, crossing his legs. He loved the thought of seeing Lyra again.
He could use her to kill his human. And that's all that he wanted, for now, full control of his human body.
“Let's see.” he murmured more to himself.
