The territory of the Mountain Faction consists of a small chunk along the mountainside. While the mountain terrain is expansive, the Faction's close-packed territory is abundant with prey and herbs that can sustain the cats within it without needing to venture far.

The mountainside is rugged with sharp stones that can easily pierce a paw pad that hasn't toughened to withstand the rough ground yet, and loose ground that can quickly sweep a feline off their paws. While lush shrubbery occasionally sprouts up along the rocky mountainside to provide shelter, most prey is found cowering in the crevices in rocks and in piles of boulders.

BORDERS

» Northern Border: the northern border lies farther up the mountainside, curving around Snake's Cranny. the terrain farther up here begins to slope upwards through the borderline is far from the mountain peak. this border connects with the eastern border to the right and the western border to the left.

» Eastern Border: the eastern border follows the mountainside down toward Stampede Meadow, and lies near the Rugged Rocks. this border connects with the northern border to the left and the southern border to the right.

» Southern Border: this border separates the territory from the Stampede Meadow, as the thin stretch of grassland is teeming with dangerous moose. however, herb masters do have to make venture across the border to access the Starlight Birch, and the occasional brave feline will make a dash into the meadow for an oblivious rabbit. on the other side of the Stampede Meadows lies the Forest Faction border. this border connects with the western border to the right and the eastern border to the left.

» Western Border: this border follows the small stream that flows down the mountainside outside of camp to the Stone Pass, where it broadens into the meadow and forest. this border connects with the northern border to the right and the southern border to the left.
