Briar's Opinions:  To be quite frank, Action type playlists are one of my favourites to work with.  They help keep me focused on my writing, and really help me pool all of that adrenaline-rush feeling into what I'm writing, which helps to keep your readers on the edge of their seats.  However, I often find myself still full of adrenaline for a little while after I've finished with writing an action/battle scene, so I recommend taking a break afterwards to let your brain calm down and recollect itself.
