Hello WattyWarriors readers, and welcome to another contest!

For this one, you'll have to write a one-shot using characters from our fanfiction, Curse of the Clans! You can use background characters, main characters, or both (note: many great one-shots explore the background characters). A 'one-shot' is a story that only has one body of text- one chapter. Normally, it focuses on one or two characters. Your story will be written as non-canonical, but if you win, we may incorporate some of your ideas into the fanfiction. You may write a story about whatever you want using the Curse of the Clans cats and settings. However, DO NOT CONTINUE THE STORY (write a new chapter). It can explore the past of a character, a dream they had, a battle they fought, a scene from the book in their point of view, etc. Be creative!

Your one-shot will be judged by all of the WattyWarriors admins.

Judging Criteria:

-A good idea, using the characters from our fanfiction. The author has added no new characters of their creation.

-Well written. Few/no grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.

-It is a one-shot. It does not have multiple parts.

-The story draws us in and makes us want to keep reading.

Ah, the prizes!

The winner will receive:

-A follow from WattyWarriors

-A short story written by Blazestorm

-A chance to guest-author a chapter in our fanfiction

-An interview in the WattyWarriors Fan Magazine.

One runner up will also receive an interview.
