Brambleclaw is first seen as the son of Tigerstar. Not much is known about him, so we aren't sure if we should like him. As we move along, we start to learn more about him, and have reasons to like and dislike him. He then becomes a lover of Squirrelflight, the daughter of Firestar. They to through some rough times, but turn out okay in the end. Over all, I think Brambleclaw is a good cat who just made some bad decisions.

In all seriousness, Brambleclaw is probably my favorite character through all of the arcs. He climbed out of his fathers Shadow (capitalize my name, geez Tiger! -Shadow) and proved to be an asset to his clan. He's made mistakes, but who hasn't?!?! Brambleclaw is strong and a good leader, even before being a leader which is weird but not so much when you think about it from a non-weird perspective. Rambling aside, Brambleclaw will always be a favorite of mine. All hail Brambleclaw!

*watch out, Lightning loves to spoil things* OMG IN THE END OF BRAMBLESTAR'S STORM, SQUIRRELFLIGHT TELLS HIM THAT SHE'S EXPECTING HIS KITS!! THIS MADE ME SOOO HAPPY! I guess this also hints how much I love Bramblestar. There's this new Warriors arc coming out pretty soon, do you guys think that the protagonist(s) will be about their kits? I sure do hope so!

MORE SPOILERS!!!! (well Lightning that is because Yellowfang finally revealed that she lied to Squireelflight about not being able to have kits. That of course brings up a lot of questions about how far StarClans seeing-eyes can actually go. That sort of info isn't something you would think that they knew......)

Anyways! I really enjoyed Brambleclaw's character and how it progressed. He did manage to create a name for himself away from Tigerstar, and was able to prove through the many hard challenges that he faced throughout the series (family/blood versus Clan, for example) that he is avery well thought out, developed good character. And emphasis on the good- he showed every cat that he is as amazing as Firestar, if not even better than him (mostly because, well, lets face it, Firestar isthe best Mary Sue as Ive said before, while Brambleclaw was more real.) I also enjoyed Bramblestar as portrayed in Bramblestars Storm. You were able to follow him through his challenges and acknowledge his struggles as similar to ones we face.... well sort of. I mean, we aren't rescuing other cats from the wreckage of their Twolegs flooded homes, but meh. You get it.) In all, I give him a 9/10. Only one special kitty gets 10/10 for me!

*minor spoilers* AAAAHHH BRAMBLECLAW/STAR!!!! I love him to bits. I mean, I see him as a best friend. Psssh, who cares if he's bad at love? He's having kits with Squirrelflight! Squeee!! I think he's a great hero, and gives some relief to the sue-ish storyline with his flaws. Now, I do think that his love story with Squirrelflight is drawn out and a bit cliche. But they are just perfect for each other! Overall, he's a strong cat with an interesting point of view. I loved him in Bramblestar's Storm, and look forward to series six!
