Every fourth year, four pairs of contestants are drafted to sail to an island. They must learn to compete and survive to win their freedom back home. 

The only problem is that the island, Vordix, is a place where fear comes alive. 

With pirates, sea monsters, giant gorillas, bloodthirsty creatures, and relentless natives, life becomes a fight for all the contestants as they are soon to learn the real and more deadly reason they are on that island.
