I know I haven't been the most responsive this year, especially in the past six months or so, because boy—I've been battling. So many things about 2020 have sent my anxiety spiking and everything is overwhelming. Everything. Even the things I enjoy, like responding to your comments, have felt like a huge wall to climb...

Mostly because I haven't been in the right mental state to bring you guys joy with my responses. And as you might have noticed, I've worked very hard over the years to keep my space positive in both directions. Not being able to bring that positivity to you this year has been so painful for me and I've withdrawn so I can keep my dark cloud hanging over only myself.

You probably weren't expecting a psychotherapy session with this post, but I wanted to be sincere about the reason why you haven't seen my usual comments, especially since so many of you have been so enthusiastic about KISS AND TELL.

Don't worry, I feel extra terrible that you've left me so many lovely and encouraging messages during my updates of Cata and Gabe's book, LMAO. And while I have to apologize for not returning all that love right away, I do have to thank you for giving it to me anyway.

As always, you guys make my orange experience the best it can be. This time, I have to pick each and everyone of you who gave KISS AND TELL a chance from its very first update, as my absolute favorite reader.

Yes, you. All of you.

You're my favorite. Because of you, I kept hitting the update button even when all I wanted to do was hide under my fluffy blanket and cry every day.
