Why did you start writing in Wattpad?

Honestly, I was bored. I had moved away from home and was seriously homesick. I hadn't written in a while and I found a mass following & target audience in the whole Magcon world, which I didn't get at first lol. But after reading a couple fan fictions that weren't exactly well written, I decided to take a shot at it myself for the heck of it, lol.

Which book has been the most fun to write?

The most fun book to write was "Immortalis" because I truly wanted to venture into fantasy writing. I wanted to incorporate the world of vampires, angels & demons, etc. and create this different world away from the usual young romance & drama.

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?

I'd have to say whenever I'd log on and see like 54 notifications, one morning I woke up to 84. And it was just so much love that I didn't expect. At that point, I didn't even care if I hit a million reads on one book or not.

What's the hardest part about writing on Wattpad?

Updating on a regular basis lol. When I wrote my first book, I had just moved to New York and was working my first full time job. So it was hard to keep up, sometimes I felt like a letdown.

Who are your writing inspirations?

Besides the many books on my shelf, my friends and readers. All of their comments & kind words kept me motivated. Not to mention messages i'd get telling me that my stories help them with depression or stopped them from harming themselves. I'd get emotional :')

What's the best part about writing on Wattpad?

I like that there aren't many harsh critics. The bar isn't set TOO high & readers understand that we're kind of all in the same boat. So it's great to write, then read along and laugh with them when they give feedback. It's just a good community, a family of sorts.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Don't worry about any critics. You're not gonna get it on the first try, it's okay to start from the bottom (no Drake pun) and work your way up!
