Radishologist is an amazing account, and they have written books such as 'A Minecraft Story' which has 116k reads. It was great to interview them and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I've always had a passion for creative writing, and I've also loved Minecraft for a long time (I'm a Minecraft author). My (now ex) girlfriend used to talk about Wattpad a lot, and one day while playing Minecraft I got an idea for a book. I joined Wattpad and started writing my first book, "A Minecraft Story", immediately.

Where does your inspiration come from?

I'm not really sure where I get my inspiration from. I mean, whenever I watch action movies, I feel empowered to write awesome action scenes. My books are mostly action books, so I guess that counts.

How did it feel to hit 100k reads for the first time?

When I saw "A Minecraft Story" had hit 100k reads, I was honestly very surprised. I didn't think my book was that good, but here were a lot of people who liked it, or at least read it. I felt like one of the "popular" authors on Wattpad, even though there are a bunch of books with 1 million reads.

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?

My proudest moment on Wattpad wasn't actually hitting a certain amount of followers or reads like most people. My proudest moment was actually completing my first book. I've tried writing books not on Wattpad before, but I never finished them. I just never had the motivation to. But when I finished "A Minecraft Story", I was very proud of myself.

Are you planning on writing anymore books?

I do plan on writing more books. I have two main ongoing book series right now, and I plan on finishing them. I currently have 11 books, and I think I'll finish off with 17 or 18 books.

What's the best part about writing on Wattpad?

The best part about writing on Wattpad is probably the fact that I can publish one chapter at a time. I think a lot of the struggle of not writing on Wattpad was that I had to write all the chapters before getting them out to anyone. With Wattpad, I can publish a chapter and see everyone's feedback, and maybe include their ideas in the next chapter.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

My advice for a new writer is to write with good grammar. I see a lot of Minecraft books on Wattpad that could turn out really well, but have poor grammar. If I'm not able to read the story easily, I'm not gonna be interested in it. So write well. Look things up if you have to. And remember, always keep going.
