Pizzaloverdude is a great writer on Wattpad, who has written over 100 books on Wattpad including the likes of 'Poetry of my Thoughts' which has over 6k. It was great to interview them and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I started writing on Wattpad because I really enjoy writing, and I wanted to find some kind of writing community to do just that. I joined Wattpad in 2015, and ever since then, it has been my home.

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?

My proudest moment would have to be when my book Poetry Of My Thoughts hit #673 in poetry! I was just overcome with joy!

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I usually get my inspiration from being outside a lot, or listening to music. And sometimes from news stories.

Which book has been the most fun to write?

I would have to say A Countrylike Friendship. It's about a guy named Dante that helps an elderly lady named Greta fix her broken down car on a rainy day. They become friends in an instant. The story takes place in Delaware, and I really enjoyed writing about Dante visiting his new friend every now and then. It just felt like I was in the story too. My imagination was so active! That's just the beauty of writing, you know? I was actually in Greta's house! Ha ha!

What's the hardest part about writing on Wattpad?

The hardest part would be dealing with haters. They always have to say things that are totally unkind, and hurtful. I been through a lot myself. And I just write to tune them out. And on top of that, some writers post things that are totally inappropriate. It sets a bad example for Wattpad, and I try to report them, but they keep posting things that are not appropriate.

Which chapters are your favourite to write?

In A Countrylike Friendship, the chapters about Dante spending time with Greta and her granddaughters were the most fun to write. They were just a bundle of joy, and Greta was my favorite character to write about. She was such a kind old lady that provided Dante with love.

And finally, what advice would you give to new writers on Wattpad?

Write because you enjoy it. Show off your creative talent, and just let your imagination run wild. Don't listen to anyone that says your story isn't good. It's your story. Not theirs.
