kmbell92 is an account home to a range of stories from Fanfiction to Fantasy. She's the proud writer of many popular Harry Potter fics, for example the well known 'Tightly Knit' which has 4 million reads. I was thrilled to interview her and this is what she had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

Well, I've always enjoyed writing. I loved entering school contests just to share my stories and work. I came across Wattpad a couple of years ago. Read a couple of books here and there and then decided that I was ready to start sharing my work. I honestly didn't expect to get many views on anything, I just wanted to put my work out there.

You have 45 published books- where do you get your ideas from?

A lot of them came from late night brainstorming sessions with my friend, staring into space. I gain inspiration from the strangest of things and just work them in a plot.

What book has been your favourite to write?

So far 'Skinny Dipping with A Mermaid' has been my favourite to write.

What's your favourite book on Wattpad?

I really did enjoy 'The Magpie Effect'. It was beautifully written and I couldn't put my phone down until I finished. I honesty hope it continues into a series.

Do you see yourself writing any more books?

I see myself writing plenty more books. I really do love writing.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

My advice is to have some patience and write for yourself. Never write for others, because if you don't enjoy your own work, it'll definitely show.
