headmistressteeny is an account that writes in all genres, including Teen Fiction and Mystery/ Thriller. She was nominated to take part in an interview and here is what she answered!

What made you download Wattpad?

I was bored one day so I started searching for quirky books on Wattpad. There was this one, very old one and the website told me 'Continue in our app! Write stories and read!' That just sounded amazing to me! Now I'm addicted!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I started writing on Wattpad because I always loved writing though I never had anyone to read what I was writing. Now, I can write my own stories for people to read, and read other stories from aspiring writers!

Your book 'Alex in Wonderland' is almost at 1,000 reads, where did you get the idea for that book?

I'm a huge fan of the book and the 1951 movie 'Alice in Wonderland'. I always wanted to imagine what Alice's life might have been after her 'trip'. What did she think about life? Did she ever go back? Did she ever get married? Did she ever have kids? So I figured that I could decide all of that, and that's what I did.

Do you have any books planned for the future?

Yes, I do have books planned for the future! (: Sometimes in 2017, I want to publish a steampunk and (maybe) a teen fiction humour book!

Who are some Wattpad writers that inspire you?

@-Vellichor, @pennyroyaltears, @kyzzif, @iwearheelys, @sweetsiilence and @howto_ are the Wattpad writers that inspire me the most. Not only do they have amazing and engrossing stories, but they give me tips that help me with my writing. They're also pretty funny.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

Dear new Wattpad writer, do not get discouraged, do not doubt yourself, don't be afraid to be different, and never let a good idea get away from you. If you think it will work, test it out. If it doesn't, then at least you can say you tried. Write a story you would want to read!
