Amisha_a has written many amazing books such as 'In A Soundless World' which has 46k reads and they have created the 'Soundless Poetry Club' which helps poets improve their poetry.  It was great to interview them, and here is what they had to say!

Why did you start writing on Wattpad?

I decided to start writing on Wattpad because I thought it would be interesting to try something new, and it seemed like fun to me.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

I would have to say past and present experiences I've had, and from the poet Rupi Kaur because she's also Indian and Punjabi like me, and she has a published book of poems. She's a positive influence as well, I think her poetry is great. The second person I get inspiration from is Edgar Allen Poe because just like Rupi Kaur, his poetry is simple and amazing.

Why did you start up the 'Soundless Poetry Club'?

I started the club because I saw that there weren't many poetry clubs on Wattpad. I want mine to be different and unique. I also did it so that I could interact with other people on Wattpad and come together more as a community with my audience.

What's your favourite book on Wattpad?

Aesthete by @-rejectsirwin *even if you're not into fan fiction, this story is really amazing*

What's been your proudest moment on Wattpad?

When my first book, 'In a Soundless World' hit #3 in poetry.

What's the hardest thing about writing on Wattpad?

The hardest thing is to get inspiration. For me it takes something significant - a good or bad event to happen in my life in order for me to get some inspiration to write poems. Another thing that's difficult about writing is getting views on you work, it can be really difficult to get your work out there.

And finally, what advice would you give to a new writer on Wattpad?

If they're writing in poetry, shortness and simplicity is the best way to get views. But having a deeper meaning within the poem is even better. For any other genre of writing having good descriptions and a nice flow to words can really put your story together. Also having a good, well-structured plot is very important.
