Here are a few ways to be popular on Wattpad:

Make friends. Making friends on Wattpad will help you in several ways; Your friends can read your books and spread the word about you and your works. Your friends can also give your ideas for your books.

This is what I did on my other account: I had a following spree. I went nuts and started following everyone I could possibly find. I immediately got 2 or 3 follows, but within the course of a week or two, I made it up to 158 followers.

I went from 7 followers to 158 in 2 weeks.

Now I'm not big into math, but that's 4.4% more than I had before. IN JUST 2 WEEKS!!

4.4% doesn't sound like much, but it really is!

That is my #1 tip for popularity. Follow several hundred people and watch the follows roll in. Follow a ton of people before bed, go to sleep, and check your notifications in the morning. It may not be a ton of people at first, but wait a while.

Something you should definitely remember is do not unfollow them. People will find out that you unfollowed them and will unfollow you.
