I actually never dreamed to be a writer. I never envisioned that one day, I would write a book. I am an avid reader. If I could spend the morning, noon, and night reading, I would be in heaven. I am the kind of reader who always thinks of potential twists and turns while reading the stories. Mareklamo rin sa stories na nabasasa minsan but I didn't voice out my negative opinion. Then one day, I discovered Wattpad and started reading some stories there. There are few stories that left me unsatisfied. There were lots of scenes in my mind that I strongly believe that the stories would be better if they were included but unfortunately it didn't happen. Haha! (This is me as a reader. Alam ko hindi ako nag-iisa) So, instead of complaining, I started to create my own story, then I jotted down all the scenes in my imagination to satisfy myself until I found myself enjoying it and it became a passion. And now, I'm a published author. 

Way back in 2014, my province hit by a typhoon, which caused heavy damage across the region. It knocked down electric posts, plunged our province into darkness. So, no communication, no lights, no entertainment for several weeks. We only use generators to charge phones. My cousin sent me softcopies of some stories. She told me those are from Wattpad. When the internet connection is back I immediately downloaded the Wattpad app and signed up. And I don't regret it.  

I'm most proud of Prince of Speed because this was the story that led me to become a published author. This is my first Erotic-Romance novel. I used to write young adult stories, and try something new is a bit scary. I'm worried that I couldn't manage to pull it off, but I'm glad that I've completed this story successfully, and later on get published. Also, I'm proud of "Touch Me". I was overwhelmed by the readers' feedbacks. I received a lot of messages from my readers, telling me of how this story stirred their emotions. Parang ito ang unang stories ko na nagkaroon ng maraming comments kaya nakakagana magsulat. 

There are so many Wattpad experiences that I cherish up to this day and will surely treasure forever. One of my favorite experiences is when my stories Slept with a Stranger and The Real Heiress won in Watty 2015. I was so surprised that time. Next, is when I met my readers at one of Wattpad's events. Also, when I got the invite to join Beta Paid Program and this one, to be a Wattpad star. And my most favorite is when I became a published author and got new friends through my readers. 

In every story I create, my readers are always part of it. Readers' feedbacks are my motivation to improve my creativity. 

I want to tell new writers that don't fixate on gaining a lot of readers or on getting published. That's not what you should worry about. Don't let it stop you from sitting down at your desk and doing the work on a daily basis. Writing is such a process. Writing is hard work. If want to be a successful writer, you have to invest time, labor, and faith in it. Wattpad is a community that full of opportunities. So while waiting for the opportunity to come knocking on your door, stay focus on your literary practice. Don't stop improving your writing skills to prepare yourself for the opportunity that coming your way.

Seeing the orange star badge next to my name makes me feel like I'm on cloud nine. And the fact that I have a chance to chat and collaborate with other amazing Wattpad writers and the awesome people behind this program is something that makes me feel privileged. And most of all, the opportunities I've got for being a star is something I am grateful that I am included in this program,   

Wattys 2015, because two of my stories won. Slept with a stranger had won the Talk of the town award, and The Real Heiress won two awards, The best TNT Panalo story, and Twitter Choice. Also, Wattpad paid program and Wattpad Star program because I've got a chance to work with other amazing authors.
