Meet the Star: scitusnim

I graduated college during the 2020 pandemic and had literally nothing to do, the sleeping writer in me suddenly awakened lol

I don't exactly remember who influenced me, but I remember reading Wattpad stories through ebook during 2nd year high school. Hindi ko na maalala kung paano ako napunta sa mismong app no'ng 4th year hahahaha

2025. It's the one with the most writing errors and, since it's my first story, it's also the most jeje, but out of all my works, 2025 is what I am most satisfied with. None of my other stories have made me feel the same fulfillment I felt when I finished 2025 and 2025: The Second Half. The story, even though it's about a zombie apocalypse, pulled me up from my lowest and I'm proud that it has helped other people too.

2025 and 2025: The Second Half just really mean a lot to me.

2025 winning the Wattys 2020, of course. It was a very unexpected win, because I really forgot that I joined hahahaha and I was so confused when someone congratulated me on my message board. It has also opened a lot of doors for me—I got to be friends with a lot of great authors, more readers got to know about my works, and I became one of the Wattpad Stars.

If my writing journey ends today, I could say that the Wattys 2020 is its climax.

That any of them is not just another thrilling story. (And that I'm always leaving clues lol)

Write for yourself. You will never be satisfied of your own story if the standards that you are trying to achieve belong to other people. We can't avoid criticisms and we shouldn't, because they help us grow, but make your own preferences your top priority. You were a reader too, and you are writing because there's a story in your mind that you haven't read before. Always choose to write the story that makes you happy and proud.

DISPAREO by serialsleeper. The plot! The twists! The characters! Everything about it is just so amazing, I'll never get tired of telling people that it's my favorite Wattpad story.

The Wattpad Premium? The promotions on the homepage? Hahahaha more than that, I am loving the community. It's just so cool to see great authors of different genres sharing ideas and helping each other grow. And I'm always on Cloud 9 thinking that I am a part of that community uwu.

My story, 2025, won the Wattys 2020 under Horror category.
