Of course, I got inspired by the novels written by the authors I look up to. I got interested because of them. But honestly, the story I have ever written is actually a result of my boredom.

It was recommended to me by my cousin. Since she knows I'm a bookworm, she asked me to read a story she discovered, thinking that might like it.

As of now, I'd say it would be Chained to the Past. For years since I started to write on Wattpad, I have been focusing too much on Teen Fiction and Romance. It was the first time I tried to stray away from the genre I'm comfortable, not knowing if I'd actually nail it or fail. It still has a drop of Romance, but it's leaning more towards Mystery. I'm just proud of myself that I finished writing it without complications and that my readers are open to it even though I didn't focus much on the "kilig" side.

When I won my first ever Wattys award, it gave me a sense of pride. Back then, I wasn't aware that there is such an annual event on Wattpad. I only discovered it when I made friends with other authors. That was year 2017. My story, Make Him Move On in 50 Days, won Wattys2017 under The Storysmiths category. For me, it's like a reward. It's like I've done a great job. Thus, I chose that as my favorite experience on Wattpad.

Every story that I have written down means a lot to me. I write for myself, but I decided to share the world I created to them because I hope my words can reach their hearts and help them learn more things about life. I hope they enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Writing on Wattpad has so many opportunities, so I hope each and everyone of us continues to write until we still have words to bleed. Let's also keep in mind to remain humble and write bravely.

I guess it just gives me a feeling of pride because I have received recognition from Wattpad itself. It makes me feel good that I'm a part of the program.
