Gradeschool pa lang ako mahilig na akong magbasa ng pocketbook. I remember may ad page sila na nanghihikayat to write for them. Doon ako nagsimula na mangarap na maging manunulat. Books became my friend growing up and I want to give others the same thing na ibinigay sa akin ng mga libro.

I was writing for a poetry site for years. Poems talaga ang hilig ko before. Then a friend saw me writing and told me to try Wattpad. By then I was already in highschool and I already moved on from the dream of writing a novel one day. Para kasing ang hirap abutin. When I got introduced to Wattpad that's when that dream came alive again.

My first book His Secret Agent Pretend Wife. It survived my jeje days and it taught me so much over the years. Kung hindi rin dahil sa kaniya baka hindi ako nagsusulat ngayon. 

I think the recent one would be when I was browsing the comment section for my story Unstrung. I saw a particular comment saying how the book saved her and made her want to wake up every day. There's so much that I experienced when I took the path of writing, but that part I know I would always remember. To touch people's lives that way made me feel like I'm doing the right thing.

My stories are all happy endings but it doesn't mean that the stories would be easy to read. Happy ending pero hindi ibig sabihin ay hindi masasaktan.

They should take their time. Sometimes we're too fixated on experiencing and achieving everything quickly that we tend to forget to enjoy the journey.

For one, mas madami akong nakilala. Sa ten years ko sa Wattpad mabibilang sa dalawang kamay ang mga nakausap ko na writers. Very interactive din ang community at ang understanding ng mga staff.
