Reading, of course. Long before I discovered I have a knack for creating my own stories, I'm already a wide reader. Eventually, I realized that if my favorite authors can write all these stories that make me stay up until the wee hours, why can't I?

I can't remember if it's my sister or a friend of mine who introduced me to Wattpad. But I do remember that when I signed up, it was all the rage at the moment. That was in 2013.

"Wedding, Interrupted". I wrote it during the 2020 nationwide lockdown. In just over a month, I managed to finish it — around a hundred thousand words in total. And I've gotten a lot of really good feedback for it. It's the story that made me rediscover my love of writing, after taking some time off to focus more on my work and other personal matters.

Getting selected as a Wattpad Star, definitely! It was a very pleasant surprise, getting the offer to be part of the program. And I'm really grateful for the opportunity. Getting badged as a Star felt like a culmination of seven years of writing on the site.

My stories don't have the most complicated plots or the most unexpected twists, but they're guaranteed to put a smile on your face while you read them. It's my goal, actually — to write realistic stories that make the readers 'kilig' and happy at the same time.

Write what makes your heart happy. Also, write for the love of writing itself. The followers, high number of reads, and other opportunities will come in due time.
