I've been writing stories since I was a kid. My father always tell me stories just to fall asleep. Not read- literally tell me impromptu stories. Usually, about an old man that has magic, and he met a child-- and the adventure goes on. It is more like of a 'dugtungan' story telling. My Papa will pause and I will giddily share my thoughts on what the next scene would be. I've been story-telling even before I was able to read or write. It enhanced my imagination and the moment I learned how to write fast, I started writing.

2011- On my way to work, there's a traffic along Alabang and our van stopped in front of a huge billboard of Wattpad Presents. I remember seeing Wattpad on my social media, posted by friends about the newest story they read so I researched it right there and then. I thought Wattpad was just an e-book, so I downloaded it just to read while there's traffic. Hehe

The Bad Boy's Slave. Simply because I didn't think I could write a teen fiction. I like how I depicted true love as sweet and pure.

Ah, when I wrote He Married His Secretary, I finished it with a few reads and I was never thinking about it few months after. Then one day, while at work, my phone kept on beeping because of Wattpad notifications. I received comments after comments and messages and follows. I was so happy when I learned it ranked 1. I think that was my Wattpad debut.

I am having a hard time to write erotic stories. Someday, I may not anymore, so stay tuned. Lol I'll still be writing though!

Follow your beat, be patient, and WAIT FOR YOUR TURN. You don't have to copy the style of a writer that rose to fame, you don't need to write and promote your stories on other writers' wall, and above all, do not question a writer's success just because you think you deserve it more. There's a reason why they are there, and you are still thriving. Keep learning, enjoy what you are doing, and be professional especially on your publishers and people who put their trust in you in the writing world! The world is small.

The Four Bad Boys and Me by blue_maiden. This is the first story that I read on Wattpad and inspired me to write. The writer hashed her words so simply and created a story out of her own language. She made me feel the 'Hey, you can do this too!' and here's Makiwander :)
