Meet the Star: ceiyuri

I got into writing when I was thirteen, starting with writing poetry on Figment, (a site that is now down) and when I turned fourteen, I began to write novels. JhingBautista, xmeimeix, peachxvision and specially pilosopotasya inspired me so much! I don't think I wouldn't even be as inspired to write if it weren't for them and ate Rayne. I am so thankful for them!

From an e-book. Dati kasi uso pa 'yung magbabasa ka sa phone hahaha, then pasa-pasahan lang. Later on, I was told that the e-book I was reading was from a site called Wattpad, and I got really addicted to it from there. I was eleven.

Amethyst Died that Saturday honestly. Through writing this kasi na-realize ko 'yung strengths and weaknesses ko as a writer and I grew a lot! It also received so much love, like I didn't know some people would like it, and even more so, for it to win the Watty's! I still can't believe it.

ADTS brought me to being a Wattpad Star so I'm really, really proud of it. I know it still has flaws but I sure will fix it soon enough!

When I was fifteen, one of my novels won an award in a certain contest made by writers in Wattpad. I was very insecure about my writing din kasi before, so winning that made me feel extremely happy because my writing is being validated for the first time. That's what I was just asking for.

The ideas of all the novels I wrote sprang at the most random times, like when washing the dishes, while in a public transpo, doing private business, seeing a random picture, listening to a random song. Nothing interesting but I think it's kind of funny.

Also, every character I have has back stories that only I know about!

Read! I can't stress this enough — if you want to write well, read. Watch movies, anime shows, listen to different kinds of music, these will be the source of your creativity.

Don't be shy to promote, too, people can be interested and they can even share your works if they like it! Show off your works, someone will always definitely check them out.

Don't be discouraged with the number of reads and followers that you have. The first book I published literally only had 12 reads before it received an offer to be published, and I only had 100+ followers! Remember that the number of reads don't dictate the greatness of your work so please don't feel down, I know you got this.

Just please don't give up writing no matter what happens. Writing has sooo much to offer you if only you're passionate enough!

The Way It Was Before by raindrops_. It's so beautiful I still cry about it. I read it about five times and I cried each time . . . it was such a masterpiece.

Finding more writer friends! It also gives me more open opportunities unlike before I became a Star.
