WINTER SEASON: THE BEST SEASON

Winter around Me

Roads covered with white snow
Cold wind that blows through my windows
I took the coffee cup to sip some tea
It is warm in my hands I gripped it too tightly

People outside were wearing thick jackets
In my room I prepared for pink blankets
Night sky was full of stars that shine
The crescent moon that looks like wants to whine

I went out to check outside
Warm coffee mug still in my hands
I took a deep breath until the cold air filled my lungs
As I heard the choir in the church sang

I looked around and things around were covered in white
The truck that passed by made some tire track
Footprints of people on the snow-covered roads
I tried to make a hand print on the snow board

I smiled and took another sip
From the coffee cup in my hand that almost slipped
Winter is here and I felt relieved
Because this season will always be my favorite
