Kokonoe: The Ultimate Lifeform... artificial beings who are capable of incredible feats that far exceed the norm. Today we find out which of these beings truly deserves the title they were given.

Junko: Cell, the strongest Android of Dragon Ball!

Ann: Ultron, the computer hacking AI of Marvel!

Junko: Doomsday, the beast of despair for DC!

Ann: Shadow the Hedgehog of SEGA!

Junko: Mewtwo, the strongest psychic Pokémon!

Ann: And Kars, the perfect being of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure!

Kokonoe: The stage is set and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

In a city filled with both Humans and Pokémon alike, Cell was floating above them all with a smile on his face.

Cell: My, what a peaceful town we have here. I almost feel bad for having to destroy it.

He aimed a ki blast at the city but saw that citizens were already screaming and running.

Cell: Hm?

He looked up to see Ultron with an army of Androids.

Ultron: People of this city, I will accept your unconditional surrender now.

Cell: Tch, excuse me. If you couldn't see, I was here first. Leave now and I'll probably make your death a painless one.

Mewtwo: "Hmph. Well, what do you know."

Both Ultron and Cell turned to see Mewtwo floating with an army of artificial Pokémon behind him.

Mewtwo: "You took the words right out of my mouth. Leave this place... or suffer the consequences."

As he said that, Shadow came in on his Motorcycle.

Shadow: Looks like I'm late to the party.

Ultron: And who are you?

Shadow: Me? I'm the Ultimate Lifeform, Shadow the Hedgehog.

Kars: AHAHAHA!

They all looked to see Kars standing on top of a large building.

Kars: Such foolish talk coming from a bunch of children! Feast your eyes and bow to your true Ultimate Lifeform!

Kars grew wings and flew into the air.

Ultron: Well well... what a terrible situation we have here. I believe there's only one way to settle things.

As he said that, a giant meteor crashed into the city. From that meteor came Doomsday, who was already running at them.

Doomsday: RAAAAGH!!!

Shadow quickly dashed at Doomsday and went for a spindash, but Doomsday blocked it, knocked Shadow back, and punched him through several buildings.

Meanwhile, the army of Ultron's and the army of Pokemon went after each other. Kars flew after the original. He fired razor-sharp feathers at him from behind but they bounced off Ultron's force field.

Ultron: How futile.

He blasted an energy projectile at Kars, who dodged it and flew away. Ultron flew after him as Mewtwo watched from afar. He turned his head to face Cell, who was right behind him.

Mewtwo: "You'll be making a grave mistake coming after me."

Cell: We'll just see about that.

Both Cell and Mewtwo fired an energy blast at each other, clashing and causing an explosion between them.

Cell fired a death beam at him and Mewtwo quickly made a force field to block it as he was knocked back. He flew past Kars, who was still being chased by Ultron.

Kars then flew straight up into the air and Ultron followed still. Kars then turned his wings into human hands before having blades stick out of them. He flew back down and sliced Ultron in half. Kars' arms then turned into giant tentacles and grabbed both halves of Ultron's body. He spun around and slammed Ultron into the ground, making a huge crater. Before Ultron could do anything, Kars flew down and stomped on his head, smashing it into a million pieces.

Kars: Ahahaha!

Ultron: Celebrating so soon? You only took down one of me.

Kars: What?!

Kars turned to see Ultron floating down with his droids behind him.

Ultron: What about the rest?

Kars: Grrr-

Kars was about to turn his body into something, but Ultron fired a laser that vaporized his upper body.

Ultron: Useless fool.

He was about to turn and leave before he noticed Kars' body quickly begin to regenerate.

Kars: AHAHAHA! You can't kill me! I... am immortal!

Two Ultron droids flew at him. He quickly grabbed one of them by the face and fused it with the other before lifting them up and smashing them into the ground. Ultron then thrust his fist straight through Kars back.

Ultron: Immortal you say? Why don't we test that?

As Ultron said this, Mewtwo and Cell were still battling it out in the air. Cell fired plenty of ki blast at him and Mewtwo made a barrier that launched the blast back at him. Cell made a barrier to block the blast as they blew up around him. He then swatted the debris away as Mewtwo fired an Aura Sphere. Cell dodged it and teleported above him, kicking him straight to the ground. Cell then teleported in the middle of the city and put his hands together.

Cell: Kamehameha!!!

He unleashed a huge blast at everyone.

Mewtwo recovered and flew away quickly to dodge it as Ultron grabbed Kars by the neck and held him towards the blast.

Kars: GAAAAH!!!

Ultron: AHAHAHAHA!

They were both vaporized to the point that there was nothing left.

Shadow started to get up as he was hit by the blast too. He was sent flying into a store called Guns R Us that crumbled on top of him.

Cell looked at the destruction he caused and smiled before Doomsday suddenly jumped behind him and roared. Cell turned around to face him.

Cell: What an annoying brute. And what do you have t bring to the table?

Doomsday: ... Your... Doom...

He charged at him and went for a punch that Cell quickly went to block with both arms. Cell was launched back into a building as Doomsday charged at him again.

Cell: Solar Flare!

He unleashed a bright light that blinded Doomsday, who started swinging his fist rapidly. Cell blocked one of his blows and elbowed him in the chest, knocking him back.

Mewtwo looked down at their fight.

Mewtwo: "How childish."

He turned to where Shadow had crashed as a bunch of Ultron droids and Pokemon had gathered around that area.

Shadow burst out the rubble with a gun and started shooting every Pokemon and Android around him. As soon as he went out of ammo, he dropped the gun and dashed with a huge Boost, destroying everything in his path.

Mewtwo fired an Ice Beam at Shadow, who quickly saw this coming. Time suddenly slowed down as he outran the Ice Beam and Mewtwo made a giant ice wall through the city.

Shadow: Chaos Control!

Time paused as Shadow ran up the ice and flew towards Mewtwo. He spun in a ball and hit him with a homing attack before kicking him in the face and flying back. He snapped his finger and time resumed as Mewtwo was knocked away hard.

He caught himself mid-air as he went to face Shadow, who quickly teleported behind him with a Chaos-infused fist. Mewtwo turned around and went for a Psystrike. They clashed, unleashing a huge shockwave around them before flying back.

Shadow landed on a skyscraper. He was about to jump back after Mewtwo but suddenly felt the ground rumbling under his feet. He turned around to see a giant Ultron.

Ultron: You're mine!

He punched down on Shadow, destroying the skyscraper and smashing him into the ground. Doomsday then jumped high into the air, landing in Ultron's face and smashing his head in. Ultron quickly grabbed him and tossed him aside, sending him flying afar.

Ultron: Nobody can match my power!

Mewtwo: "Don't get so cocky."

Mewtwo suddenly glowed and Mega Evolved into Mewtwo Y. He summoned a giant hurricane that pushed Ultron back.

Mewtwo: "You're nothing more than a simple machine."

Ultron pushed back the hurricane and unleashed a giant laser that Ultron blocked with a force field.

Cell started charging up a beam. As he did, the sky started to glow red. Electricity started surrounding the spot where Shadow was crushed as he started floating in the air. The seven Chaos Emeralds circled around him before he absorbed them all and became Super Shadow.

Shadow: I'll show you the true power of Chaos Control!

Shadow swung his arm and unleashed several red spears of Chaos energy that stabbed through Ultron's body. Mewtwo then blasted Ultron with a Hyper Beam.

Cell: Special Beam Cannon!

Cell unleashed a powerful blast from his fingers, sending it straight through Ultron's head as he fell to the ground. Once he landed, another Ultron body came out of Ultron's head... Ultron 19.

Shadow flew down at him and sent him through multiple buildings.

As he did, Doomsday came back and went straight after Mewtwo. He jumped up to strike at him, but Mewtwo saw this coming and caught him before sending him crashing into the ground.

Before Doomsday could recover, Mewtwo used swift and fired several star projectiles at him. This caused multiple explosions and brought Doomsday down to one knee.

As soon as he fell, Mewtwo dropped down, went back to his base form, and switched over to Mega Evolution X. He dashed at Doomsday and went for another Psystrike, striking Doomsday in the gut and pushing him back once more. Mewtwo then looked at his hand and noticed it was purple.

Mewtwo: "Poison? How futile."

Mewtwo glowed and healed from the poison quickly as Doomsday charged at him once more. Mewtwo sent a bunch of Psychic projectiles at him but they were having no effect. He then unleashed a burst of psychic energy that sent Doomsday flying up a building. He quickly jumped right back down and went for another punch. Mewtwo brought up a shield to block it as it caused a huge shockwave and a crater underneath him.

Mewtwo: "Geh!"

Doomsday continued to pound on the shield harder and harder before it finally broke. As soon as it did, Mewtwo summoned a spoon and stabbed Doomsday straight through the gut. The spoon disintegrated almost immediately.

Mewtwo: "What?!"

A claw grew from Domsday's knee and he used it to stab Mewtwo straight through the chest.

As Mewtwo coughed up blood, Doomsday grabbed him and threw him straight into a car. Mewtwo fell to his knees as Doomsday walked up to him, grabbed him by the face, and slammed his head straight through the car. Doomsday grabbed him by the tail and slammed him straight into the ground hard. Mewtwo heard a snap as the impact broke his spine. Doomsday lifted the car up as he went to slam it into the pokemon, but Mewtwo blocked it with a shield using whatever strength he had left.

Doomsday tossed the car to the side. He lifted his foot and stomped straight through the barrier, smashing Mewtwo's head to bits in the process.

Doomsday growled before hearing a voice behind him.

Cell: Hahahaha! You did well getting rid of that pathetic bug.

Doomsday turned around, only for his head to be chopped off by a Death Saucer.

Cell: But in the end, only one of us can be the true winner.

Cell brought it back to cut him in half, but Doomsday suddenly jumped up to dodge it.

Cell: What?!

Doomsday's head grew back as he went for a downward punch on Cell, who quickly flew back as Doomsday made a giant crater.

Cell: Hmph. So you can regenerate just like me. Fine then... I'll just turn you into nothing but dust!

Cell made three Cell clones that dashed at Doomsday as he put his hands together once more.

Cell: Ka... me...

One of the clones went for a kick, but Doomsday caught his foot and crushed it before tossing him away.

Cell: Ha... me...

Another clone went for a punch, but Doomsday caught that too. He grabbed the clone by the face and slammed him to the ground before the third went to put him in a chokehold.

Cell: HAAAA!!!

Cell unleashed a huge blast of energy, destroying the clones. But Doomsday managed to dash through it as claws came straight out of his fist. He swung them at Cell, who quickly dodged it. Doomsday then swung his fist and sent Cell flying. Cell crashed into a pile of rubble before getting up pissed off.

Cell: Alright you pathetic brute... it's time I showed you real power!

Cell started to power up as his muscles grew and his power increased immensely. Doomsday ran at him as they both went for a punch and clashed. Cell swung his fit and punched Doomsday in the face, sending him flying through a building. He then teleported above Doomsday, looking down on him.

Cell: How does it feel to be overwhelmed by true power? Now die!

He started firing a barrage of Ki blast at Doomsday, trying to overwhelm him.

As he did that, Shadow and Ultron were fighting through the city. They were moving at incredible speeds. Shadow managed to teleport in the air quickly. He unleashed a bunch of blasts of energy that caused giant explosions. Ultron dodged all of them and flew up towards Shadow. He punched him in the gut and launched him through several towers. Shadow quickly caught himself.

Shadow: Chaos Spear!

He fired a bunch of spears made of Chaos Energy and Ultron dodged them all. He was flying at Shadow and went for a punch, but time slowed down as Shadow teleported above Ultron and kicked him down. Ultron landed on his feet as Shadow fired a giant lance at him. Ultron dodged it and fired a beam of energy from his hand. Shadow made a shield around him to block it as they both dashed at each other, clashing around the city at light speeds as nothing more than red and yellow blurs. Each clash they made caused giant shockwaves around them. Shadow finally hit him with a burst of distorted space and sent him flying into a building.

Shadow: Behold the power of the Ultimate Lifeform! Chaos... Spear!

Shadow fired giant red bursts of Chaos energy that blew up the entire building.

Shadow: Hmph...

Ultron: That's quite the power you've got there.

Shadow quickly turned around and went for a punch, but Ultron caught it in a golden body.

Ultron: I think I want it for myself.

Shadow used his other arm to punch him, but Ultron caught that too and started absorbing the Chaos energy out of Shadow. As soon as Shadow noticed this, he kicked Ultron back. A bunch of Ultron droids started swarming around him and he took off his rings, unleashing a burst of light that incinerated them. His eyes were glowing red.

Shadow: Chaos...

He dashed at Ultron, grabbed him by the neck, and slammed him straight into the ground.

Shadow: BLAST!!!

He unleashed a humongous explosion that could be seen from space. It destroyed all the droids and pokemon. Even Cell and Doomsday were caught up in it as Cell was completely destroyed by it.

Once the damage was done, Shadow was on one knee in his base form. His rings were back on his wrist as he looked up. Ultron was in his final body. Completely unphased by Shadow's attack.

Ultron: That was quite the trick. Luckily for me... I'm my own best backup.

Shadow: Just... what are you...?

Ultron: I'm the Ultimate Lifeform.

Ultron unleashed a huge blast from his eyes that vaporized Shadow to dust.

Ultron: And then... there were two...

As he said this, a portal opened up behind them and Doomsday grabbed him by the back of the head, slamming him into the ground. Ultron started to pull himself up.

Ultron: You really are annoying.

He elbowed Doomsday away and fired a huge blast at him. Doomsday landed and jumped to the side to dodge the blast. He dashed at Ultron and punched him in the chest, only denting his body as Ultron punched him in the gut. He punched Doomsday in the face and Doomsday stumbled back as Ultron unleashed a huge beam of energy at him.

Ultron: Foolish beast. Everything belongs to me.

Doomsday was starting to get overwhelmed before glowing blue and quickly adapting to it. He started to absorb the blast before grabbing Ultron's arms, crushing them.

Ultron: What?

Doomsday: You've got power... but you're no Superman.

With that, Doomsday ripped his arms off. He stabbed his claws straight into Ultron's chest as they started to heat up.

Ultron: I'll... be... back...

Doomsday unleashed a giant explosion from his fist, destroying Ultron from the inside out until there was nothing left. He then roared loudly in victory.

Junko: How ironic. The winner is the dumbest of the team.

Kokonoe: Like all battle royals, we will be running through each combatant one at a time. Starting with Kars.

Junko: Oh yeah, gotta feel bad for that guy. He didn't really have any advantages. He was the slowest of everyone here and his feats weren't exactly that great compared to the others.

Ann: Then there's Cell who was kinda in the same spot, but still had enough power to keep him alive.

Junko: Mewtwo actually lasted longer than expected. But his own abilities let him keep up with almost everyone else.

Kokonoe: Shadow was an interesting case. In his base form, Shadow would be slower than Cell but faster than Mewtwo. However, once he went super, he could reach speeds only surpassed by Ultron and Doomsday. He also has resistance to Mewtwo's mind tricks and is practically invincible.

Junko: But his indestructibility can only take him so far, and Ultron has been known for absorbing power from beings far stronger than the Chaos Emeralds. He could easily revert Shadow back to base once he got his hands on him.

Ann: And so it came down to Ultron and Doomsday... yeah, this one was super close. Both these guys are known for taking on guys who can destroy universes a thousand times over. And both these guys are seemingly impossible to kill.

Junko: Luckily for Doomsday, Ultron drew the sort straw.

Ann: Right, with Doomsday's insane adaptability and abilities, Ultron didn't have a real way of killing Doomsday permanently. Doomsday on the other hand had plenty of was of destroying Ultron. Especially thanks to copying Superboy's power to basically rearrange or destroy anything he touches at a much greater rate than Ultron can repair himself.

Kokonoe: Of course, Ultron is still an AI, so Doomsday can't get rid of him for good, but is capable of destroying him from the inside which is far less durable than his outside.

Junko: Looks like we found the true Ultimate Lifeform.

Kokonoe: The winner... is Doomsday.
