Kokonoe: Beatrix Michelle Kiddo, back then known as Black Mamba, was once a member of an elite group of assassins called the "Deadly Viper Assassination Squad", and was romantically involved with the groups' leader, Bill.

Junko: Oh, like that one angry bullet with arms and no mouth.

Ann: Um... no nothing like that...

Junko: Either way Beatrix would eventually find herself pregnant! And once she does, she decides the best course of action is to fake her death in order to quit the Assassination business!

Kokonoe: Taking up a new identity as Beatrix, she would eventually fall in love with another man and they would eventually get engaged.

Junko: But like any man who figured out his girlfriend faked their death and went on with another man, Bill found out everything and was pissed! And so he crashed the wedding, having the Deadly Viper Assassination whatever kill all her friends and her fiance! They then beat her to near death as Bill shot her in the head! The end!

Ann: Well, at least it would have been. Instead of dying, Beatrix was put in a 4 year coma. Once she woke up, she was devastated and immediately started planning her deadly vengeance against every member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad... including Bill himself!

Junko: And she's incredibly fit for the job!

Kokonoe: Beatrix is skilled at several martial arts. This includes Heihugquan or Black Tiger Style Kung Fu.

Kokonoe: This style incorporates the ripping and tearing techniques of the tiger's claws. This technique is used for frontal assaults in conjunction with aggressive and powerful finger-slashing attacks. It also uses brute force and circular arm movements to overwhelm the enemy.

Ann: She also knows Bái Hè Quán or Fujian White Crane Style.

Ann: Created by Fang Chi-Niang, this form of combat uses a combination of foot techniques, hand techniques and Chin na (seizing and controlling) for self-defense to keep the enemy at the distance of your arms and legs.

Kokonoe: This style uses hands, feet, knees, elbows, shoulders and hips for rapid striking, and when executed in conjunction with grabs and pressure point attacks, it becomes absolutely devastating.

Ann: But not as the Shéquán or Fanged Snake Style!

Ann: A very agile and very fast technique that focuses on precision strikes!

Kokonoe: Snake Style combat never uses traditional fists. Instead, it uses uses two fingers or the hands pointed like a spear, for striking as well as blocking techniques to strike and immobilize the enemy quickly and effectively.

Ann: And of course, she needs this fighting style to learn Pai Mei's techniques!

Ann: Pai Mei is a cruel, yet powerful old man who spent years training Beatrix! One of the things she learned is the Three-Inch punch!

Junko: As the old man said, "What if your enemy is three inches in front of you? What do you do then? Curl into a ball...or do you put your FIST through him?"... yeah that basically sums up this technique. It's so powerful it helped her escape from being buried alive!

Kokonoe: She learned other things too. Like her Eye-Plucking Jutsu.

Junko: Her eye wha-

Junko: Holy crap! She gouged that man's eye out!

Ann: Wait, that suprised you?

Junko: Nope! But I think I found my new favorite technique! And she, of course, knows my second favorite fighting style! Jeet Kune Do!

Ann: This fighting style was made by Bruce Lee himself, which kinda explains Beatrix' attire. It's a Hybrid martial arts that incorporates several styles into it's techniques. These include Kung Fu, taekwondo, wrestling, fencing and Western boxing.

Junko: Although the style is meant to build on self-discovery and knowledge, the physical goal is about developing physical speed, timing, footwork, coordination and power!

Kokonoe: And finally there's Capoeira.

Kokonoe: A Brazilian martial art that combines elements of acrobatics and dance to evade enemies and throw them off guard to attack them.

Ann: It also employs fast and complex moves to deploy a variety of kicks, spins and mobile combat tactics! Practitioners focus on building power, speed and leverage to gain the upper hand against opponents.

Junko: And let us not forget her Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique!

Kokonoe: It's the deadliest and most fatal blow in all martial arts. Essentially, it's the Touch of Death.

Junko: Performing this technique requires powerful jabs from the user's fingertips to strike five different pressure points on the victim's chest! Once the victim takes five steps, their heart explodes inside the body!

Ann: Beatrix' weapon of choice is her Hanzo Hattori Katana.

Kokonoe: Said to be the finest blade Hattori Hanzō had ever made in his life, breaking a blood oath after 25 years of washing his hands of weapon-forging.

Ann: This blade is 2.2 feet in length and as thin at 4mm! It can cut through flesh and bone like butter and even break katanas of lesser quality!

Kokonoe: With this, Beatrix can preform Kenjutsu.

Kokonoe: A school of Japanese swordsmanship that teaches the user the proper way to wield a sword for offense and defense in combat. In modern time, this style practiced today under Kendo and Iaido and mostly done with wooden swords.

Junko: Let's not forget her SOG Dessert Dagger!

Ann: A 6.5 inch X .180 inch blade that weights only 9 ounces.

Kokonoe: This stainless steel, doubled-edged fixed blade was formerly used by the military until the SOG stopped producing them. Ironically, production stopped after the film's release when demand for the knife increased, making it extremely rare to get one nowadays.

Junko: She can use this effectively with her Military Knife CQC!

Junko: A form of close quarters combat with the use of a combat knife for getting up close and personal with a short blade!

Ann: Oh! Beatrix also has a gun! The Star Firestar M-45!

Ann: A single-action semi-automatic handgun! It has a .45 Automatic Colt Pistol Chambered, meaning it can fire 11.43x23mm rounds even if the original model was meant to fire 9mm! It also has an 8-round magazine!

Kokonoe: She doesn't just have skill and weapons. Her resilience and stamina is also incredible.

Kokonoe: After waking from her coma, killed two rapists, made her way to The Pussy Wagon where she spent 13 hours forcing her legs out of atrophy from the past four years.

Ann: That's not all. After being shot full of rock salt, buried alive, breaking out of her coffin, and climbing out of six feet of dirt, walked for several miles across the El Paso desert, with no shoes mind you, in the mid-day heat where she located Budd's trailer and yet still had the energy to barge in to fight Elle Driver!

Junko: Holy crap, is there nothing that can't stop her?!

Ann: Well... yeah.

Ann: Despite her near-superhuman skills, she still bleeds and gets exhausted like regular humans.

Kokonoe: Despite her quick thinking, she can get a little too cocky and her best strategy still is "just run in and kill everyone who gets in my way."

Junko: Also, her Eye-plucking and the Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique requires close contact and an opening to perform them, otherwise, they can be blocked.

Ann: Despite this, she's still incredibly deadly and is one girl I wouldn't want to mess with.
