Monika: Hagire Rinichirō was a man you could call a scientist gone mad. His ultimate goal was to find a way to increase ones immune system, using "guinea pigs" as his test subjects.

Neptune: By guinea pigs you mean...

Monika: Baby children of course.

Neptune: Of course...

Monika: Originally, He was going to do the experiments on Ganta, the son of Sorae Igarashi. However, Sorae dreaded the idea of experimenting on her own son. So, she replaced him with an orphaned albino child named Shiro.

Monika: The experiments Shiro was forced to go to were painful and inhumane. Even when Shiro begged them to stop, Hagire would continue the experiments without a care in the world.

Neptune: Luckily she had a childhood friend named Gaunta to cheer her up when she's down!

Monika: But things didn't go too well for her after that. One day, Hagire told Shiro to kill a sheep.

Neptune: Yeah, once it gets to that point, it's no longer about strengthening ones immune system.

Monika: Right. On that day, Shiro snapped and killed everyone around the sheep instead. Not knowing that her only friend Ganta was right there.

Neptune: Oof, talk about traumatizing a child.

Monika: This would cause two things to happen. For Ganta to lose all memory of her best friend and for Shiro to be so depressed that she wanted to finally end herself. And in a desperate attempt to end her miserable life, she ended up causing a Tokyo sized Earthquake.

Neptune: Because apparently Japan hasn't had enough of those.

Monika: However, Sorae saved her life by implanting a red diamond in her body to prevent her death, and sealing most her power away before Sorae shot herself. As a result, Shiro grew something of a split personality disorder, spending the rest of her life in a prison with Hagire, a now old man who was obsessed with her.

Neptune: Ew- I mean this prison was known as Deadman Wonderland! Namedrop!

Monika: Anyway, as stated earlier, Shiro possessed a split personality. The first being her carefree and childish one, Shiro.

Neptune: In this state she's weaker than the other personality, but we'll get to her later.

Monika: Thanks to the experiments she's gone through, Shiro has superhuman speed and strength.

Monika: She can break through steel and rock with ease and even sent a robot twice her size flying with ease.

Neptune: She's much faster than Ganta, who's attacks can reach speeds that are faster than sound!

Monika: Shiro also gained a healing factor.

Monika: As one of the results of Hagire's and Sorae's experiments, Shiro's body developed the ability to regenerate damage almost instantly. They have done tests by ripping pieces of flesh from her body, even removing internal organs and these wounds healed themselves every time.

Neptune: From broken bones to lost limbs, she can heal her wounds in seconds!

Monika: And that brings us to her more powerful personality, the Wretched Egg.

Neptune: In this state, Shiro is much faster and stronger than her original. She can even fly around, has a much better healing factor, and can even use her Branch of Sin!

Monika: Well, her Shiro personality did learn how to use it, but her Wretched Egg personality made it much more powerful. You see, Shiro is known as the original Deadman, and every Deadman can control and manipulate their own blood at will using what is known as their Branch of Sin. Shiro's Branch of Sin in particular is the most powerful and is known as the Original Sin.

Monika: This lets her create multiple long whips out of her own blood with no limitations.

Neptune: These whips can cut through almost anything! They can create massive explosions and even pick up heavy objects like the Walfish!

Neptune: A huge ship that weights 3,200 tons!

Monika: Not only that, but she can create massive hurricanes and tornadoes with her blood too.

Monika: These tornadoes are sharp enough to cut through the human body like it were butter. And this is when a majority of her powers were sealed away. At full power, she can create massive earthquakes and in her battle with Ganta, she ended up blowing up an entire island!

Neptune: Hell, according to a big boobed police lady, her powers are so great she has the potential of destroying all of Japan!

Monika: But even she's not unstoppable.

Monika: Both her personalities pretty much have the others weakness. Shiro is happy and cheerful but not that smart while her other self is smart and powerful but mentally unstable.

Neptune: Her healing factor can also only take her so far and she still has that wish for herself to die.

Monika: But at the end of the day she wasn't killed. She survived her battle with him and lived a peaceful life at a hospital, where the man she loves visited whenever he could.

Neptune: ... ... ... Yeah, she's still badshit crazy.

Shiro: I hate everything. Kill everything. Ruin everything. I inflict pain on everything.
