Kokonoe: Saber Artoria, the King of Knights in Fate/Stay Night.

Junko: And Erza Scarlet, the Seventh Guild Master of Fairy Tail.

Kokonoe: She's Junko Enoshima and I'm Kokonoe.

Junko: And it's time for a Death Battle!

On Tenrou Island, a small glow appeared as Saber appeared in its forest.

Saber: Hm? It seems the magic circle has teleported me away from my master.

Erza: Halt! You there!

Saber turned around to see Erza standing with her blade in hand.

Erza: This is sacred property of Fairy Tail! Leave now!

Saber: Hm? "A sword? Could she be another servant?"

Saber had a more serious look on her face.

Saber: First, tell me, where is your master?

Erza looked annoyed.

Erza: Do you really think I would give you that type of information?! Tch, if you do not wish to leave, I will make you leave by force!

Erza dashed at her and swung her sword and Saber blocked it with her invisible blade.

Erza: What?!

Saber pushed her back and swung her sword but Erza quickly blocks it. The two of them swung their blades and clashed.

Erza: What is this?! An invisible weapon?!

Saber pushed her back and pointed her blade at her.

Saber: That's right! You may never learn what it truly is! It could be a battle-ax, a spear, or even a double edge sword! Either way, it will take you down!

Saber dashed at Erza and swung her blade but Erza quickly dodged it.

Erza: I will admit not knowing what it looks like does make things difficult, but it will take more than that to take me down!

Saber swung her sword, unleashing a heavy burst of wind as Erza requipped into her Sea Empress Armor and unleashed a burst of water that clashed with Saber's wind.

Saber: "She changed her armor? Could that be her Noble Phantasm?"

Erza swung her Crystal Sword and Saber quickly went to block it as she was sent back a bit. She dashed at her and swung her sword. Erza did the same as they clashed, creating a shockwave around them that cut trees. Erza went to kick her but Saber caught her leg and flipped Erza to the ground. She went to stab her but Erza quickly jumped up to dodge it. She requipped into her Flame Empress armor and lit her Flame Sword of fire as she dashed at Saber again. The two of them clashed blades again and got back. Erza dashed at her and swung her sword but Saber blocked it. She swung her blade and Erza dodged her strike as she swung her sword again. Saber saw this coming as she quickly jumped back and dodged her attack. Erza requipped into her piercing armor and dashed at her with a jousting lance. She went to charge straight into her but Saber used her blade to block her strike and pushed Erza back.

Erza: So you're fast... but are you strong enough?!

Erza requipped into her Purgatory Armor as she was holding a large mace.

Saber: Another one?!

Erza: This is my Purgatory Armor! No foe has seen it and lived to tell its tale! And nor will you!

Saber: We'll just see about that!

Saber dashed at Erza and Erza swung her mace. Saber quickly went to block her strike as it made a huge crater beneath them. Erza pushed Saber back and dashed towards her. She swung her mace and Saber went to block it as she was sent back quickly. Erza requipped into her Heavens Wheel Armor as she went to slash at Saber in a delta formation. Saber quickly jumped up to dodge it before swinging her sword. Erza dodged it and flew into the sky as she summoned a bunch of swords and sent them down at her. Saber swung her sword and unleashed a burst of wind that knocked the swords back as she jumped up after Erza. She swung her sword but Erza dodged it and slashed both her blades in the shape of a pentagram.

Saber: Gah!

Erza then flew back at her and slashed at her as multiple swords stabbed Sable straight through the back. Erza then requipped into her Giant Armor and grabbed her by the foot. The two girls fell down as Erza slammed her into the ground hard enough to cause the entire island to shake. Saber laid on the ground as the blades stabbed into her back had disappeared.

Erza: Hmph. So that was the extent of your magic...

Erza got up and went to walk away.

Saber: Not... yet!

Erza turned to see Saber getting up with her wounds regenerating.

Erza: What?!

Saber: You wish to see my full power...? Very well...

Saber lifted her sword as it started to become visible.

Erza: That's...

Saber: ...Ex... CALIBUR!!!

Erza quickly requipped into her Adamantine Armor as Saber swung her sword, unleashing a gigantic burst of Holy Magic. Erza put her shields together and made a giant barrier to block it. The blast clashed with the barrier, causing a huge explosion that knocked both of them back. Both of them recovered quickly as Erza requipped into her Lightning Empress Armor.

Erza: It's about time I start getting serious.

Erza dashed at Saber at an incredible speed and swung her spear but Saber quickly dodged her attack. She swung her sword but Erza jumped back and fired a beam of electricity. Saber dodged it and dashed at Erza, who had immediately got into her Seduction Armor. Saber was shocked as she missed her swing. She turned to Erza.

Saber: W-What are yo-

Erza had quickly requipped into her Black Wing Armor and swung her sword. Saber saw this and quickly swung her sword too. The two of them clashed before Saber knocked the sword out of Erza's hand. Erza pulled out two duel axes and swung one of them at Saber. Saber dodged as Erza swung the other, causing Saber to use her sword to block it. She pushed Erza back and Erza requipped into her Celestial Armor. Saber dashed at her and swung her sword but Erza quickly dodged her strike and sent small blasts of light at her. Saber swung her sword and swatted the blast away. She dashed at Erza and swung her sword but Erza got back to dodge it. She put her hands in front of her.

Erza: Grand Chariot!

Large beams of light suddenly fell from the sky and onto Saber, causing a gigantic explosion. Erza could still sense Saber's magic energy as she requipped into her Nakagami Armor, carrying a long halberd. Saber got up from the explosion as her wounds healed once more. Erza dashed at her and swung the halberd, cutting the space between them and sending Saber flying back. Saber quickly recovered as she dashed at Erza, swinging her sword. Erza quickly blocked the strike and pushed Saber back. Saber didn't hesitate to go for another blow, but Erza quickly got back to dodge it as she got into her Wingblade Armor and sent two swords flying at her. Saber swung Excaliber again and swatted the blades away but was still cut.

Saber: Tch!

Erza took the other two blades and dashed at her as she swung them. Saber blocked them and pushed Erza back. Erza requipped into her Wind God Armor and Saber dashed at her, swinging her sword before Erza could make a move. Erza quickly blocked it as she was sent back. She swung her blade, unleashing a huge burst of wind, but Saber dodged it as she was immediately in front of Erza. Both of them swung their swords and clashed as they knocked each other back. Erza got into her Flight Armor and dashed at Saber faster than before. Saber went to swing her sword but Erza appeared behind her almost instantly.

Erza: Let's put that speed to the test.

Saber saw herself getting cut in half by Erza, and before Erza could do just that, Saber quickly jumped back to dodge her attack. Erza went to dash at her and swing her sword again but Saber blocked it as Erza swung the other. Saber dodged that as she jumped up a giant tree and started running up it. Erza quickly chased after her as they both started fighting around the tree at an incredible speed, clashing on every tree branch until they reached the top. Erza requipped into her Bunny Armor and swung both her swords. Saber swung her sword and the two of them clashed, creating a shockwave around them. Erza turned both her swords into one big sword as they swung at each other again, clashing and making a giant explosion that caused the entire tree to collapse. The two of them started falling. As they fell, Erza requipped into her Morning Star Armor and sent a huge energy blast at Saber. Saber swung her sword and knocked the blast away as she jumped on a falling branched then jumped up at Erza. Erza had requipped into her Armadura Fairy and went for a powerful piercing attack as Saber swung her sword. The two clashed and caused a huge explosion before both of them finally fell to the ground. They both struggled to get up as they went to face each other.

Saber: ... You don't know when to give up... do you...?

Erza: ... Until this body takes its last breath... I will continue to protect my guild!

Saber: Try as you might... I will not lose this war!

Erza requipped into her Clear Heart Clothing. She started charging her sword with whatever magical power she had left. Saber lifted her sword as Erza dashed at her.

Erza: I will take you down with the strength of my friends!

Saber: Bring it on! Ex... CALIBUR!!!

The two of them both swung their swords at the same time creating one last massive explosion. Once the dust settled, Saber was still standing. She had a giant slash on her chest as she coughed up blood and looked down at an unconscious Erza.

Saber: ...I'm sorry...

Saber lifted her by the hair and cut Erza's head off.

Saber: ... It's over...

Junko: Holy crap! That was awesome!

Kokonoe: This was a fairly close match. If they were to fight a couple more times I'm sure Erza would have gained a win eventually.

Junko: Yeah, the two were fairly close in speed, and Erza definitely had more experience and a wider arsenal, but none of that was going to stop Saber.

Kokonoe: Right. Saber had already fought and beat the king of heroes, Gilgamesh, whose power works very similar to that of Erza's but on a far greater scale. And it didn't help that Saber was highly resistant to almost everything Erza through at her.

Junko: Yeah, and while Erza could increase her speed, she was nowhere near Sabers immense power. Her healing factor also wasn't doing Erza any favors.

Kokonoe: Right. Saber isn't one of the strongest in the Fate Series for nothing. And sure, Erza does have Dragon Slayer weapons, but they don't guarantee a victory.

Junko: So in the end, Erza had the speed, arsenal, and experience, but lacked the power needed to put this war on its tails.

Kokonoe: The winner is Saber Artoria.

Junko: Next time on Death Battle!
