Kokonoe: Born on the streets when the Yakuza ruled the world in the shadows, Kai Chisaki was only a young boy when a Yakuza boss took him in.

Junko: Then one day, a new hero named All Might came in and made the world peaceful, just as Chisaki was getting used to being in the Hassaikai group.

Kokonoe: Right. While the boss, saw this as an opportunity to give the Yakuza a code and morals... Chisaki had other plans. He saw this as an opportunity to make it up to the Boss as he wanted to get the Yakuza of the underworld back in power.

Junko: But the old man didn't agree, so Chisaki put him in the hospital and became Overhaul. Of course, he was gonna help the boss after his plan, in which he wanted not only to bring down Heroes, but to destroy their quirks permanently.

Kokonoe: Of course, he had just the thing too. After experimenting on the Boss's granddaughter, Overhaul was able to make a Quirk-Destroying drug.

Kokonoe: This drug is capable of damaging the genetic mechanisms that compose ones quirk. To give an example, I developed a pill that gives you the genetic capabilities of flight.

*Kokonoe gave a pill to Junko, who ate it and started to fly.*

Junko: Whoa!

Kokonoe: Of course, when using the Quirk-Destroying drug, which is often used in a gun...

*Kokonoe put a Quirk-Destroying drug into a gun and shot Junko with it, causing her to fall to the ground.*

Junko: Ow!

Kokonoe: It will take away your quirk temporarily, but of course, only 5 were made that take your quirk permanently.

Junko: Of course, that's not the only thing that makes him dangerous. You see, Overhaul has a quirk of his own, fittingly named... Overhaul.

Junko: This basically allows him to disassemble and reassemble just about whatever he wants. He can literally bring someone back to life a few seconds after blowing them up.

Kokonoe: He only needs one finger to activate his quirk and it doesn't just work on living beings.

Kokonoe: With his quirk, Overhaul can disassemble and reassemble the area around him, forming holes, walls, spikes, and platforms practically anywhere in his surroundings.

Junko: He can also use his powers to fuse with another person!

Kokonoe: Well, it's more like he's disassembled his own body along with someone else's and reassembled both their bodies into one. This allows him to obtain the quirk of the one he fused with and it doesn't seem like he needs to worry about any resistance from the victim he fused with.

Junko: When fusing with a normal sized guy, he gains four arms.

Junko: This transformation grants him a boost in power and speed as well as a badass look.

Kokonoe: The guy who he fused with for this transformation was Shin Nemoto, allowing Overhaul to use the quirk, Confession.

Kokonoe: This basically allows Overhaul to force anyone to tell the truth, getting into their head psychologically.

Junko: And after fusing with someone bigger, he turns into a giant, kaiju like monster.

Junko: In this transformation, Overhaul is bigger, faster, and stronger! Also the spikes he makes are twice as big.

Kokonoe: When turning to this, Overhaul fused his body with Rikiya Katsukame, and though he's never used it, he's gained Rikiya's quirk, Vitality Stealing.

Kokonoe: This allows him to steal his opponents vitality and use it as power. All Overwatch needs to do is touch his opponents.

Junko: Overhaul is incredibly fast, being able to keep up with the likes of Sir Nighteye, who could literally see his every move before he makes it!

Kokonoe: He's also incredibly durable, taking a punch from Mirio, who is strong enough to shatter bones. He can also take a beating from a full power Deku... but of course, he still has his weaknesses.

Kokonoe: Despite his high intelligence, he can be overconfident in his own ideals. He also suffers from Mysophobia, or the fear of germs and is unable to use his quirk if he cannot use his arms.

Junko: But even with something like that, you can't deny that Overhaul is one of the scariest and most badass Yakuza dudes out there.

Overhaul: There are so many capable men... and all they can think to do is rob a convenience store? Kinda weird... you'd think a group this big might just, y'know... have bigger goals than that... You're all sick. And you need a cure.
