Junko: As one of the Legendary Sanin, Orochimaru was a man who wanted to know all the worlds secrets.

Kokonoe: Of course, Orochimaru knew he couldn't do so with a limited lifespan, so he sought out immortality.

Junko: To do so, he needed to sacrifice a few, maybe a hundred lives. They were minor anyway.

Kokonoe: And once he was caught red-handed, he decided to leave the Hidden Leaf and continue his research instead of aton for what he did.

Junko: And in return he also saught to destroy the Hidden Leaf and everything in it! And he's definitely capable of doing just that!

Kokonoe: Orochimaru is very strong.

Kokonoe: He can easily toss team 7 around and can trade blows with the 3rd Hokage.

Junko: He even went toe to toe with Naruto back when Naruto couldn't control his four tailed state!

Kokonoe: He's also very fast.

Junko: He can keep up with and outpace Jiraya and Tsunade without his arms!

Kokonoe: He's went toe to toe with a berserk, four tailed Naruto and has even reacted to Sasuke's attacks while in a weakened state.

Junko: Oh, let's not forget he's incredibly durable!

Junko: He's been stabbed countless times, took a flaming dragon to the face, and even got launched halfway across a forest with no signs of pain! He's even tanked an explosion caused by an incomplete Bijuu Bomb!

Kokonoe: Orochimaru is a scientific genius and devious schemer. And as far as weapons go, he has the Sword of Kusunagi.

Junko: Freaking awesome! It's a powerful sword that can harm Enma, who is said to be as hard as diamond! Oh, and it can also be controlled by hand movements!

Kokonoe: Orochimaru also poses chakra.

Kokonoe: A spiritual energy found in all living things and is used in every jutsu or technique.

Junko: There are several different natures of Chakra... wind, earth, lightning, fire, and water. And since Orochimaru is a badass, he's learned all of them!

Kokonoe: Orochimaru can use his chakra to walk on water, run on walls, create shadow clones, increase his physical capabilities and more.

Junko: The way chakra is used in combat is called jutsu and there are three types. Taijutsu allows the user to use hand to hand combat. Genjutsu is the use of illusions. And Ninjutsu is all the flashy ninja stuff.

Kokonoe: He can use the Earth Release: Hiding like a Mile Technique, which turns the earth to sand for him to hide under.

Junko: Orochimaru can paralyze his victims or even steal the faces of the dead to disguise himself.

Kokonoe: Orochimaru also has his own body replacement technique.

Kokonoe: This let's him regurgitate a new body from the mouth, letting him heal from massive injuries like the amputation of limbs as well as letting him elude seemingly unavoidable attacks. It's also difficult to detect.

Junko: And it let's him use things like his slithering snake mode!

Junko: Where his lower half turns into a snake tail to increase his speed and agility. Actually, a lot of the guys power comes from snakes.

Kokonoe: She can preform attacks like the Hidden Shadow Snake Hands.

Kokonoe: Where he ejects multiple poisonous snakes from his wrist. Each snake can open their mouths to reveal Kusanagi-like blades.

Junko: He can also use the Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes!

Junko: It's basically the same as the Hidden Shadow Snake Hands, but they come out his mouth and there's a ton more.

Kokonoe: He can use the Binding Snake Glare Spell

Kokonoe: Where he summons one or two snakes to coil around his opponent. These snakes can kill their target through venom or constriction.

Junko: And there's the Gathering of Snakes

Junko: Which let's him put himself back together after being bisected!

Kokonoe: Orochimaru can dislocate his joints, and if he wanted he could preform a summoning jutsu. Summoning jutsu allows Orochimaru to summon an animal to aid him in combat, and the one Orochimaru summons is the Boss snake, Manda.

Kokonoe: This giant snake is feared as the "strongest colossal serpent". He can shed is skin, move underground, and even remain in tact after surviving Deidara's suicide move... before dying of course.

Junko: He can also grant someone his power by putting his mark on them!

Junko: He does this by biting on the victim's neck. This gives them a 10% survival rate and allows Orochimaru to spy through the victim. Hell, if Orochimaru wanted he could resurrect through the seals!

Kokonoe: After possessing Harashirama's cells, Orochimaru can regenerate from injuries in seconds.

Junko: And Orochimaru possesses two transformations. The first being the Power of the White Snake.

Junko: This is Orochimaru's true form which is a giant white snake composed of smaller white snakes. This form is used to swallow his victims to preform the Living Corpse Reincarnation.

Kokonoe: This let's him steal the body of victims so he could live forever. These bodies will reject him in three years, but better bodies can last a lifetime.

Junko: Then there's the Eight Branches Technique.

Junko: Where he transforms into a giant snake with 8 heads and 9 tails. This form is even larger than Manda and Orochimaru can emerge from the mouth of one of the heads and use Kusanagi to attack.

Kokonoe: Orochimaru can also summon the Triple Rashōmon, which lets him summon three giant gates for the ultimate defense. The first gate takes the attack head on, the second gate reduces its power, and the third disperses the pressure.

Junko: He can also bring back the dead as zombies that he can possess!

Kokonoe: Yes, but even then even a genius has their flaws.

Kokonoe: Orochimaru has a large but limited amount of chakra and is very arrogant and sadistic. Plus, control over the zombies limits their abilities to think and fight effectively.

Junko: And even then, he one day learned the error of his ways through his pupil, Kabuto, and started monitoring the choices and actions of his former apprentice, Sasuke. He even had his own artificial son in Mitsuke.
