Kokonoe: Prince of Lucis and son of King Regis, Noctis Lucis Caelum has lived a fairly normal life despite being royalty.

Junko: Then the worst thing happened... Noct was getting married!

Ann: ... Um... and his father was murdered while Noctis was on his way to meet his childhood friend and future wife, Lunafreya. You um... kinda left that part out.

Junko: Oh the parents always die in the end. That's nothing new. But still, marriage!

Ann: *facepalms*

Kokonoe: Cliché or not, this gave Noctis a new motivation... to stop the ones who murdered his father.

Junko: And like any anime edgelord, he had just the right skills to get it done!

Ann: Right. Noctis is incredibly strong!

Junko: He's fought plenty of mountain sized opponents and even shatter the arm of this guy Titan! And Titan is strong enough to catch meteors from the sky!

Ann: He's even durable enough to deflect several blows from an Iron Golem several times his size and took hits from Leviathan, who flooded an entire city!

Kokonoe: He's also known for his speed and agility.

Kokonoe: He's used to easily taking on enemies with machine guns and gatling while also being able to dodge lightning.

Ann: A lot of this is thanks to his ability to warp.

Ann: It's basically his signature technique. This let's him throw his weapon and basically teleport to wherever he threw it. He can use it for a variety of reasons and doesn't technically need a weapon to warp, but without a weapon he can only warp small distances.

Junko: Speaking of his weapons, he can summon them at any time!

Kokonoe: Right. He can summon them instantly and get rid of them just as fast. Though he hasn't often been shown to summon more than one for combat, it's not that out of the question.

Ann: And he has sooo many weapons...

Junko: He has everything from swords, guns, spears, daggers, and shields!

Kokonoe: His favorite is the Ultima Blade

Kokonoe: A long, one handed blade that can absorb elemental energy.

Junko: Not too much of a big deal considering he can already do that!

Kokonoe: Right. Noctis himself can absorb elemental energy and use it for his own. Though he can only absorb ice, fire, and electricity.

Junko: But that won't stop him from causing huge explosions, creating giant blizzards, and summoning lightning from the sky!

Ann: And for his defense, he can instantly dodge attacks via phasing through enemy attacks, leaving an after image to confuse his opponent.

Kokonoe: Along with that, he has the Ring of the Lucii.

Kokonoe: A ring created by the gods that has been passed down through generations. This ring gives him access to three arcana.

Junko: The first being the Death Arcana!

Junko: This allows Noct to absorb the very life of his opponents! Granted, there is a chance to resist this.

Ann: The second is the Holy Arcana.

Ann: After phasing through enemy attacks, Noctis can cast holy magic on them and burn them. Doing this success also restores his health and magic power.

Kokonoe: And the last is the Alterna Arcana.

Kokonoe: By briefly tearing open the fabric or reality, Noctis creates a crystalline black-hole like gate. This sucks in all enemies in its area of effect before collapsing in on itself and disappearing completely, banishing all affected enemies to another dimension and effectively killing them.

Junko: Wow! You said that casually!

Kokonoe: The alternate dimension mentioned is implied to be the void, which is generally a dimension of eternal nothingness completely removed from space and time.

Ann: Along with that, he has his Limit Breaker: Armiger!

Ann: In this state, not only can Noctis fly and increase the power of his magic abilities, but he can summon all 16 weapons in his Royal Arms collection!

Kokonoe: The Royal Arms are all powerful weapons that can only be wielded by Noctis.

Junko: He can send these weapons out like projectiles or even use them as a shield! And yes, he can wield and warp towards them too! Oh, he also has a state called the Power of Light that let's him summon even more Royal Arms! Some he hasn't even seen before!

Kokonoe: But this doesn't make him unbeatable.

Kokonoe: For one, Noctis can be rather rash at times. And using the Ring of the Lucii can drain him of his life.

Junko: That's not all. Using any of the Royal Arms causes damage to him with each hit dealt to his opponent, and using the Power of Light nearly killed him!

Ann: Some weapons in Noctis' arsenal also drastically lowers his stats while increasing others. And as for his magic, once he runs out he enters "Stasis" and can't use magic until it's restored.

Kokonoe: However, once he uses elemental magic, he can't use it again until he absorbs more. And sometimes his elemental abilities can change the environment in ways that can be harmful to him.

Junko: But despite all this, he still pushes forward in the end! It's no wonder he is king.

Noctis: I walked tall... and though it took me a while, I'm ready now.
