Kokonoe: In the main throng of Orient Town, there was a clinic owned by the nurse, Litchi Faye-Ling.

Junko: But before this chick was a nurse, she was the assistant of Kokonoe herself!

Kokonoe: *sigh* Litchi was my assistant along with Iron Tager and a man named Lotte Carmen, or Roy.

Junko: Yeah, but that didn't apply to you and Roy huh?

Kokonoe: Not necessarily. Me and Roy started arguing mostly thanks to the Boundary influencing his mind, slowly turning him into the out of control monster, Arakune. And since I refused to help, she left in search for him.

Junko: Of course, it's not like she can't take care of herself. She's incredibly strong!

Kokonoe: Litchi has traded blows with heavy hitters like Hazama, Relius, and Azrael.

Junko: She's even fought evenly with Makoto, whose uppercuts can literally shatter the moon.

Kokonoe: She's also fought me and Hakuman to a standstill and has taken on the likes of Ragna himself.

Junko: All these guys have appeared on or are going to appear on Death Battle.

Kokonoe: Litchi is also very fast and agile.

Junko: She can keep up with Hakuman, Ragna, and Makoto.

Kokonoe: She can even trade blows with Tager, who can move at mach 9,110. And that's not even going over the fact that she can preform 99 kicks in 3 seconds.

Junko: As far as weapons go, Litchi has her Matenbo.

Junko: A staff capable of supporting even Litchi's weight. It can take many forms and can bend at any angles without breaking.

Kokonoe: Of course, it can grow in size, become a chair, and even take a humanoid form. It can easily be summoned by Ars Magus, a force created by fusing science with magic.

Junko: She mixes Ares Magus with her technology to boost her abilities as an observer... but we'll go over that later.

Kokonoe: Right. Litchi also has Lao Jiu.

Kokonoe: A panda hair clip which was granted sentience due to housing a portion of Roy's soul. This hair clip boosts the power of Litchi's Ars Magus and her physical stats over time by drawing power from the Boundary.

Junko: It also limits Boundary-induced degradation to the point where she won't become another Arakune. It can defend Litchi when she's in grave danger or about to die.

Kokonoe: Now that we're done with her weapons, let's go over her powers. Starting with her enhanced senses.

Kokonoe: Litchi can sense events that are occurring to other versions of herself and can even sense the presence of Arakune from a certain distance.

Junko: She also has Pyrokinesis!

Junko: She can shoot out burst of flames or imbue her attacks with fire for added power.

Kokonoe: She can also use Alchemy.

Kokonoe: Alchemy is the ability to manipulate elements by using Seithr. Unlike the other Arts, which require verbal incantations of some kind, alchemy can be performed nonverbally.

Junko: While Litchi hasn't shown this onscreen, it's likely she can preform feats similar to other alchemy users, such as creating a large column of earth to protect her or a myriad of spears from a piece of metal railings. Oh, and we know she can use Alchemy because she was taught by Roy.

Kokonoe: We should also note her powers as an observer, which is basically someone who can create Event Interference by acknowledging what they see.

Junko: Yeah, but of them all, Litchi is the weakest of them. So while she probably can't warp reality or manipulate things like time, information, or memory, she has been shown to be able to resist things like that.

Kokonoe: And since she is an observer, she can probably erase ones own existence as well.

Junko: Now, I think it's about time we talk about her Drive, Matenbo.


Junko: This let's her switch between using her staff and placing it against the ground for a good ol' fashion fist fight. The staff can be set vertically or horizontally and she can launch it with her fist.

Kokonoe: For defense she can make a barrier or use her Straight Through technique.

Kokonoe: Where she wraps Matenbo around herself to block multiple attacks.

Junko: She also has Three Dragons: White, which is a low kick, Three Dragons: Green, which is a rising kick, and Three Dragons: Red, which is an overhead kick.

Kokonoe: She also has her Reach: Last Chance, where she leaps towards where Matenbo has been implanted. She can follow this up with the Three Dragons technique or with One Shot, which is basically a low kick ontop of Matenbo.

Junko: Then there's her Gut Shot!

Junko: Where she rushes towards her opponent and hits them in the gut with a palm strike!

Kokonoe: She also has Reach: Kong on Kong.

Kokonoe: Where she leaps towards Matenbo and uses it as a springboard to launch herself toward the opponent.

Junko: She has another version called Robbing the Kong, where she jumps toward Matenbo and kicks it toward the opponent.

Kokonoe: She also has her Four Winds technique.

Kokonoe: Where she launches Matenbo toward the opponent, sending it flying at either a horizontal or vertical angle.

Junko: There's also Kote Gaeshi, which basically let's her set her staff up to be launched.

Kokonoe: After that is Ren Chan.

Kokonoe: Where she kicks Matenbo at one of two diagonal angles.

Junko: And now that we've gone over all of that, it's time to go over her Overdrive, Distortion Drives, and Exeed Accel!

Junko: Starting with her Overdrive, The Great Wheel. This causes Matenbo to grow in size before constantly spinning around and following Litchi on the battlefield.

Kokonoe: Then there's her Thirteen Orphans, where Litchi transforms her staff, turning it into a tornado that repeatedly hits the opponent and drags them through the air.

Junko: After that is the All Blu- I mean Green! The All Green! Where Litchi summons a pillar of flame that launches the opponent through the air, followed by a larger burst that drags them upward and slams them into the ground!

Kokonoe: Then there's All Terminals, where she delivers a ki-enhanced punch, followed up with a swift combo of 33 kicks. She then summons a white dragon to slam into her opponent and launches them away with a palm strike.

Junko: And finally, Litchi's Exceed Accel, the Crimson Peacock! Where she slams into the opponent with a thicker version of her staff! She then forces the staff to spin around as it takes a more humanoid form and launches the opponent into the air! As her enemy begins falling, Litchi and the staff-man finish the combo with a kick that makes the opponent crumple to the ground!

Kokonoe: Truly devastating, but what do you mean finally? Did you forget her Astral Finish?

Junko: Oh right! The Nine Gates of Heaven!

Junko: Where Litchi dashes toward the opponent and delivers a kick that leaves them stunned. She then launches them through the air with a roundhouse kick and leaps above them, delivering 99 kicks in three seconds. After these hits make contact, she uses the opponent as a springboard and throws out a final kick that sends them flying away!

Kokonoe: Of course, while all of this is impressive, she does have her weaknesses.

Junko: Yeah, her alchemy can't be used to create new objects and when mixing Ars Magus with magic to increase her powers as an Observer, her body will become unstable.

Kokonoe: Not only that, but as an Observer, she needs to constantly observe herself in order to maintain her existence, otherwise she will vanish. Also, constantly relying on Lao Jiu to boost her powers will slowly kill her, in addition to boosting her Boundary-induced disease that degrades her mind and body over time, which just so happens runs the risk of either killing her or turning her into another Arakune.

Junko: Jesus Christ this girl has it rough! It's bad enough all her hard work throughout the series was made useless! I swear, Litchi has to be one of the most underrated nurses out there!

Litchi: I want to return him to normal... I’ve spent years thinking about only that. It’s what I’ve lived for. If that serves to connect this world with the Boundary, I should be able to contact Roy through Arakune... I don’t mind if this is my last chance... Let me settle this.
