Junko: You know what, sometimes size does matter! And these two legendary badasses are here to prove it!

Dizzy: Hakumen, the former human of Blazblue.

Akame: And Sephiroth, the one-winged angel of Final Fantasy.

Dizzy: I'm Dizzy, she's Akame, and she's Junko.

Akame: And it's time we end this debate once and for all.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

It was the middle of the night as Hakumen was walking on the roof of a dark palace. He stops and looks behind him to see Sephiroth.

Sephiroth: Is it me you were looking for... so-called hero?

Hakumen: Dark Angel... your sins have tainted this world long enough.

Hakumen unsheathed his blade.

Hakumen: I have come to put that to an end.

Sephiroth: Is that so?

Sephiroth pulled out his sword as well.

Sephiroth: Let us see what you can do.

The two of them swung their blades and clashed. Sephiroth pushed Hakumen back with one hand and dashed at him. Hakumen made a barrier and as soon as Sephiroth swung his sword, Hakumen dodged his strike and went for one of his own. Sephiroth swung his sword and the two clashed again and jumped back. Hakumen dashed back at him and swung his sword. Sephiroth made a wall of ice to block the strike and Hakumen sliced right through it. As soon as he did, Sephiroth fired a burst of lightning that sent Hakumen back again. Sephiroth then dashed at him and went to swing his blade but Hakumen dodged his strike.

Hakumen: Try again!

Hakumen grabbed him and slammed him to the ground hard. He then went to stab him in the chest but Sephiroth suddenly disappeared.

Hakumen: An illusion?

Sephiroth suddenly appeared behind him.

Sephiroth: Indeed...

He shot a fireball that sent Hakumen flying straight out the palace and into a forest. Hakumen quickly recovered and looked up to see Sephiroth flying down and going for a downward slash. Hakumen went to block it and push Sephiroth back. Sephiroth summoned his one wing as he also summoned four clones of himself.

Hakumen: Hmph... it's going to take more than a few meaningless illusions to stop me. Prepare yourself, Dark Angel!

All five Sephiroth's dashed at him. The first went to swing his sword but Hakumen dodged it and went for a swing of his own. His sword phased through as that one was a fake. Hakumen swung his sword as a wave of light shot at three of them and went through them as the real Sephiroth swung his sword behind Hakumen. Hakumen had seen this coming as he turned to block it with his sword and punched him in the gut, sending Sephiroth back a bit. Hakumen then jumped up and went for a downward slash but Sephiroth made a barrier to block his attack. Before Hakumen could land on his feet, Sephiroth jumped up and went for eight consecutive slashes that Hakumen quickly blocked. They both landed on their feet as balls of darkness suddenly surrounded Hakumen.

Sephiroth: Die.

The balls all blow up in Hakumen's face and Hakumen quickly recovered as he dashed at him. They both went for a flurry of slashes faster than the eye can see as they were moving throughout the forest, cutting a bunch of trees that were in their path. The sun was beginning to rise as Sephiroth finally stabbed Hakumen in the chest and threw him towards a cliff. Hakumen kept his footing as a burst of darkness surrounded Sephiroth and he turned into Bizzaro-Sephiroth. Hakumen wasted no time and went to strike at Sephiroth's core, but he could barely scratch it.

Hakumen: What?!

One of Sephiroth's limbs swatted Hakumen back and fired a large fireball at him. Hakumen quickly swung his sword and sliced the fireball in two. He then powered up and in a huge burst of light turned to Unlimited Hakumen as yellow electricity surrounded him. Sephiroth swung one of its limbs but Hakumen dodged and swung his sword. With a strike enhanced by black energy, Hakumen cut the right limb off. Sephiroth swung the other limb and Hakumen once again dodged and swung his blade, cutting it off before stabbing straight through the core. He dragged Sephiroth's body and threw him off the cliff.Hakumen then went to walk away, but before he could, a bright light shined from where he threw him. Hakumen turned his head to see Sephiroth rising up as he ad become Safer-Sephiroth.

Sephiroth: It is over Hakumen... You have no hopes of defeating me in this form.

Hakumen: Such a rediculous look... is this some kind of joke?!

Hakumen Jumped up at him, but Sephiroth swatted him away with his wing, sending Hakumen straight through multiple trees.

Sephiroth: Joke or not... you will learn true dispair.

Sephiroth sent multiple giant rocks at Hakumen. Hakumen saw these and quickly started dodging before slicing one in half. As soon as he did, one of them hit him in the head. Suddenly, Hakumen was paralyzed.

Hakumen: What?!

Sephiroth waved his hand as Hakumen found himself in a different time within an alternate dimension as a sun had blown up.

Sephiroth: Prepare to taste oblivion.

The sun started to engulf the planet and burn through Hakumen's armor. Hakumen's body suddenly started to glow white as he was forcing himself to move. He swung his sword and cut straight through the dimensional timeline as he was back. He looked around to see everything around him was destroyed as his armor was regenerating.

Hakumen: ...I... escaped...

Sephiroth was right behind him as he was back in his base form. He stabbed Hakumen straight through his back and lifted him up.

Sephiroth: So you have.

Sephiroth dropped him to the ground and began to walk away.

Hakumen: ... Not yet...

Sephiroth: Hm?

Sephiroth turned around to see Hakumen start to stand up.

Sephiroth: You just don't give up...

He dashed at him and started swinging his sword. Hakumen immediately started dodging.

Hakumen: I am the white void! I am the cold steel! I am the just sword!

Sephiroth went to strike at his head but Hakumen blocked it and kicked him back.

Hakumen: With blade in hand shall I reap the sins of this world and cleanse it in the fires of destruction!

Sephiroth tried to stab him but Hakumen dodged it.

Hakumen: I am Hakumen!

Hakumen summoned a barrier in front of him and Sephiroth went to strike it.

Hakumen: The end has come!

As soon as Sephiroth's attack made contact, Hakumen countered with a strike that coated everything in a black brushtroke-like energy as the strike started to erase Sephiroth from all timelines. Once everything was clear, Hakumen was the only one left standing as he sheathed his blade.

Hakumen: You stood no chance.

Junko: And points go to the badass with the long sword!

Akame: But they both are badasses with long sw-

Junko: Exactly!

Dizzy: This was an interesting fight. Sephiroth definitely had the advantage in destructive capabilities and his illusions did make him a tricky opponent for Hakumen to handle. He even had more versatile moves.

Junko: Buuut that's about it. Thanks to Hakumen's body being in a completely different plain of existence, Sephiroth didn't really have any way of putting Hakumen down for good.

Akame: Hakumen's armor can heal from any damage Sephiroth threw at it and his blade can cause scars so severe you couldn't heal them even if you warped reality.

Dizzy: Not only that, but thanks to his blades ability to negate magic, it gave Sephiroth a very limited ray of options to use against Hakumen.

Junko: In other words, Sephiroth was incredibly powerful and dangerous but Hakumen just had counters for everything Sephiroth threw?

Dizzy: Yep, the winner is Hakumen.

Junko: Next time on Death Battle!
