Monika: In life, Frederick Charles Krueger was a sadistic monster of a man who tortured and killed children. Getting out of court on a technicality, he was killed by the parents of his former victims and burnt alive. However, he survived as a spirit, and made a deal with the Dream Demons. In exchange for power, he would kill the living in their dreams and be known as... Freddy Krueger...

Neptune: Yeah, he'd literally haunt your dreams. Added with some creepy music. How did it go? One... two... Freddy's coming for-

Monika: Hey hey! It's too early for that!

Neptune: Oh right! Well, point is, Freddy's at his absolute best when in the dream world.

Monika: He's able to warp the reality around him, manipulating the environment as he sees fit.

Neptune: He can walk through walls, shapeshift his body, become giant, move objects around at will, teleport, heal from any injuries, and even read your mind!

Monika: And thanks to his demonic power, everything he does to his victims in the dream world will translate over to reality, even something as small as a paper cut.

Neptune: And every victim he kills gets their soul absorbed into his body, making him more and more stronger.

Monika: Not only that, but he can possess his victims body.

Neptune: Oh God! Burn it with fire!

Monika: He can gain full control of one's body, even taking their voice. The process is accompanied by intense heat in reality, but it let's him enter the real world and kill again, but only through the body of another.

Neptune: Yeah... well luckily he's powerless outside the dream world right?

Monika: ... ... ...

Neptune: Eheh... ... ... Right?

Monika: Well... it is possible to bring Freddy out and into reality. All you need is to know you're in a dream, not fear him, and grab him before you wake up. Buuut... he's just as dangerous in reality as he is in a dream...

Neptune: ... Eh?

Monika: Despite his reputation as a child murderer, Freddy is surprisingly good at hand-to-hand combat.

Neptune: He can go up against guys like Jason Voorhees and tanked hits from Ash Williams! And he can still lift grown men in the air even when reduced to just a skeleton!

Monika: In the real world, Freddy has the ability to control fire.

Monika: He can cause many things to light on fire even when confined to the dream world.

Neptune: He made one house so hot it not only melted records but made a parakeet explode!

Monika: He's also smarter than he looks.

Monika: He's well versed in the Demonic and has devised several genius plans to bring himself back to life. He plans out his kills with sadistic mastery and plays into his opponents fears, weaknesses, and interests in order to get an edge.

Neptune: He's also the maker of his signature weapon, the Clawed Glove!

Neptune: A semi-metal gauntlet with four knives attached to the fingers! Specially designed to rip his opponents to shreds! Wait, but why only one?

Monika: Well, he does have another... more demonic pair... but those were only canon to the Mortal Kombat world. But what he can use is his magic book, the Necronomicon Ex Mortis!

Neptune: What's with all these evil books?

Monika: Well, it's not just some ordinary book. It's a demonic book bound in human skin that allows one to summon the dead and harness the power of the Force.

Monika: ... Um... not Star Wars Force. This Force is a near omniscient demonic entity with great power that commands the Deadites. Freddy himself used its abilities to grant himself access of his dream abilities into the real world.

Neptune: He can also use it to summon bolts of lightning, rain of fire, or seismic shockwaves!

Monika: Initially he had to read from the book directly. But after fusing with the Necronomicon, he became a god in the process and bring forth an entire army of darkness upon- ... Oh wait, can't get too carried away I still need to go over his weaknesses.

Monika: Despite his power in the dream world, he still feels some sort of pain. Though he's not really bothered by it.

Neptune: He also has a nasty habit of toying with his foes minds before killing them. To be fair, it may be simply because nobody can really do anything to stop him. But it is possible for people to fight back as long as you have enough ability and willpower.

Monika: His powers are also weakened against those who are not afraid of him. This may also prevent him from coming back to life so long as everyone forgets he exists.

Neptune: This guy's got a bit of weaknesses. The souls in his body will literally rip apart if he looks at a mirror. Not only that, but the Necronomicon can easily find him unworthy and ditch him, taking away all his powers. And yes, that includes the power he has without the book.

Monika: Well, despite his weaknesses Freddy has had more achievements than not, and loves to choose his victims and kill them with style. So may all humans beware, cause Freddy's here and he's not giving out anything but a nightmare.
