Dizzy: Born from royalty, Escanor has always had trouble controlling his unbelievable power.

Junko: One day this power nearly ruined his life when he accidentally broke his brother's arm, which caused his parents to fear and scorn him! Oh boo hoo, the brat deserved it.

Dizzy: Escanor would eventually be smuggled to safety by a mysterious woman named Rosa and would grow into adulthood, coping with his unique circumstances.

Junko: That is until he would meet Meliodas and Merlin and be recruited as the lions sin of pride! And as one of the strongest sins, Escanor is incredibly strong!

Junko: He's strong enough to cut a mans body in half like butter and is even fast enough to keep up with Meliodas, whose strong enough to bend steel with his bare hands.

Dizzy: His speed is also incredible as he's able to keep up with the likes of Estarose and can even dodge Izraf's attacks while at his weakest.

Junko: This move important since Izraf is the God Damn king of vampires!

Dizzy: He's even incredibly durable!

Dizzy: His skin is so incredibly hard, he managed to tank Izraf's darkness with only a ripped shirt and Galan's blades could barely scratch his skin!

Junko: He's tanked hits from Estarose and even took double of his own strength thanks to Estarose's Full Counter.

Dizzy: Escanor is so strong, almost anyone of lesser strength flee from his overwhelming supremacy! And he already has resistance to soul hax and mind manipulation!

Junko: Escanor's weapon of choice is his Sacred Treasure... the Divine Axe: Rhitta!

Dizzy: ... ... ...

Junko: ... *ahem* Akame! I said the Divine Axe: Rhitta!

Akame: I... I'm coming...!

*Akame came dragging a huge golden axe.*

Akame: This... extremely heavy, one-handed axe was named after a maiden who was beloved by the sun.

Junko: This axe can be called to Escanor like Thor's hammer and can absorb heat for more power! And once he releases it...

Junko: He can make a huge explosion that can light up the night sky!

Dizzy: Speaking of the sky, it's time we talk about Escanor's unique ability, Sunshine.

Dizzy: This ability increases his power immensely when the sun is rising, turning him into a big, muscular warrior filled with pride during the day, but a pretty weak bartender during the night.

Akame: And he can't really control it either, so he wears glasses that suppress his power during the day in order to only use it when the time is right.

Junko: Still, this guy is a powerhouse! With his aura alone he can evaporate oceans by standing in them and even melt through stone, armor, and the very ground beneath him!

Dizzy: One of Escanor's signature techniques is Cruel Sun.

Dizzy: Where Escanor concentrates his power to create a miniature sun. This sun can grow in size and be controlled by hand gestures. It can even be used as transportation... somehow...

Akame: He can even use it to preform a technique called Pride Sun. This releases the mini suns heat, letting it vaporize large lakes and melt through metal armor.

Dizzy: Oh! Almost forgot to mention one of Escanors other moves, Super Splash! Which sounds just like a wrestling move... but he basically delivers a powerful downwards slash with his axe that causes considerable damage that can be felt from several meters away.

Junko: And this isn't even him at full power! At 12 noon, Escanor can gain enough power to turn to The One!

Junko: For one whole minute he will be at his full power! He might as well be the manifestation of power itself as his body dwarfs normal people and he is said to be invincible!

Dizzy: His techniques include his Divine Sword Escanor, where he makes a downward sweeping motion with his hand and cuts through his opponent.

Akame: And his Divine Slear Escanor, where he thrusts his index finger at his opponent with enough force to pierce them.

Junko: You know you're tough when two of your moves are named after you and don't even need the use of your weapons!

Dizzy: Well, as it turns out, Escanor's power is actually one of the four Graces bestowed by the supreme deity of the Goddess Clan onto her four Archangels. It originally belonged to Mael but somehow got passed onto Escanor.

Junko: Is that why after The One reaches it's limit, Escanor can take his power even further with The One: Ultimate?!

Junko: With his flames brighter and his speed and strength greater, this guy really is the Ultimate weapon! He's so strong he can take on freaking gods! Buuuut this is about where he reaches his limit. This form, despite being badass, is only a last resort and after he's used it he will burn away and die.

Dizxy: And that's where we get to his weaknesses.

Dizzy: Despite his incredible durability, people who are strong enough can still hurt him and there is a limit to how much damage he can take. His prideful nature can also let him underestimate his opponents and even think of them as beneath him. He's also the most vulnerable when the sun starts to set.

Junko: But let's face it, 99% of the time this lion is right to be a little prideful.

Estarossa: Why are you not inflicted with my commandment?

Escanor: Of course it has no effect. I've no reason to feel hatred to those beneath me. All I feel towards them is pity.

Estarossa: Such insolent pride.

Escanor: THAT is my sin.
