Kokonoe: Born in the year 1159, Byleth Eisner was a member of the mercenary group lead by her father Jeralt, and spent most of her childhood wandering the continent of Fódlan with him.

Ann: After an "unexpected incident" reveals an unknown power hidden within, she travels to the Officers Academy at the Garreg Mach Monastery and is offered a position as a teacher.

Junko: And thus she chooses three paths! Oh, and if it wasn't already clear, we'll be using female Byleth for this battle. Why? Because Female Byleth is best girl in Fire Emblem... fight me.

Ann: Anyway, she's pretty tough for a teacher, with plenty of weapons at her disposal. Her main weapon being the Sword of the Creator!

Ann: A heroes relic stated to be gifted by the Goddess herself. It's an extremely powerful sword that can cut entire mountains. It can set on fire and turn into a whip.

Kokonoe: She also has Edelgard's axe, Aymr.

Kokonoe: A large axe specifically adjusted for Edelgard. When charged up, Aymr grants Byleth additional defense.

Junko: As well as Claude's bow, Failnaught.

Junko: With this she can charge up an arrow, making the next projectile stronger and faster... though it does leave her open for attacks.

Kokonoe: And the lance wielded by Dimitri, Areadbhar.

Kokonoe: This lance is very powerful and can deal extra damage if Byleth attacks with the tip of it.

Junko: Oh, and Byleth has a knife that she carries with her.

Ann: And she has her Battalion.

Ann: A squad of units that can be deployed to assist Byleth in battle. Basically her own personal army.

Junko: Wait wait wait! Doesn't this... I dunno... break the rule of no outside help?

Ann: Don't worry. Due to the uniqueness of this particular match-up, both combatants will have their own army and 4 allies by their side. But we'll get to that later.

Kokonoe: Right. For now let's talk about her Combat Arts, or special skills that Byleth can use in battle that have special properties. The one Byleth is most familiar with are the Sword Combat Arts.

Kokonoe: This let's her preform attacks like Grounder, which let's her damage to flying opponents and Bane of Monsters which deals more damage to monster-like opponents.

Junko: That's not all though. Byleth has plenty of skills that increase her skill with a sword. And she also has a crest!

Kokonoe: Crests are combat enhancers that give special properties to the user. These properties are passive and randomly activate during battle. Byleth's crest is the Major Crest of Flames.

Kokonoe: This crest occasionally restores Byleth's health and raises her might. It also let's her avoid counterattacks.

Ann: Very useful along with her friend and companion in her head, Sothis.

Ann: Sothis is the consciousness of the Progenitor Goddess that bestowed her gifts upon Fódlan. She can speak through Byleth and give her advice.

Junko: She can also grant her an ability called Divine Pulse!

Junko: This let's Byleth rewind time! She can rewind time to correct a mistake or change the outcome of a battle!

Ann: Byleth can also fuse with Sothis and become one, gaining a new transformation!

Kokonoe: In this form, Byleth's hair turns green and so do her eyes. She's much stronger and faster as even her sword gets an upgrade.

Ann: Yeah, it basically becomes the Sublime Sword of the Creator! This is powerful enough to let her break out of a realm literally filled with darkness! She can also use the Sublime Heaven Combat Art which grants Byleth with increased hit rate, critical rate, and significantly boosts Byleth's damage output in a single attack!

Kokonoe: Byleth is strong enough to take on The Immaculate One, Hegemon Edelgard, and even Nemesis. All of whom should be capable of whipping out entire countries.

Junko: She's also very durable. So much so that weaker attacks just bounce right off her. Hell, she's survived everything ranging from Magical Attacks, Sharp Weapons, Arrows, Attacks from the Demonic Beasts, a giant meteor and sooo much more!

Ann: She's incredibly fast too! Able to keep up with flying units and dodge up close arrows! She can also react to and dodge the Bolting Spell and Hoarfrost!

Kokonoe: Byleth is a very gifted warrior and Professor, able to teach both students and teachers alike and capable of coming up with battle strategies on the fly. Now before we go into Byleth's weaknesses, let's discuss the four allies who will be by Byleth's side in this.

Junko: The first one is none other than Rhea!

Junko: An Archbishop who's actually pretty skilled in combat and can turn into a dragon!

Ann: Then there's Edelgard.

Ann: A princess and future Empress who weilds an axe and two crest. These crest let her turn into a Demonic Beast.

Junko: Next is Dimitri!

Junko: A crowned prince with a lance who might secretly have a few screws loose.

Kokonoe: And finally, Claude.

Junko: An underrated heir to a Noble house who uses a Bow!

Kokonoe: Now, onto Byleth's weaknesses.

Ann: Right. Byleth cares more about others than herself. This often leads to a bit of recklessness at times.

Kokonoe: Her Divine Pulse can also only go back so far and can only be used a total of 18 times per battle.

Junko: But still, this very young teacher is ready to give it her all in this death battle!

Byleth: Here is something to believe in!
