Kokonoe: Doctor Eggman has attempted to rule the world on multiple occasions, but he always fails thanks to a speedy blue blur standing in his way known as Sonic the Hedgehog.

Junko: By the way, we're using video game Sonic, as Archie Sonic is way too overpowered.

Kokonoe: This doesn't mean that this version of Sonic is weak in his own right. Sonic is known for his incredible speed, able to move faster than the speed of light.

Junko: He can go even faster with his figure 8 technique, and can also use Sonic Boost.

Junko: Where he charges towards his current direction and pretty much becomes a living projectile that increases his speed.

Kokonoe: Sonic also has the Spindash.

Kokenoe: Where he curls into a ball before launching into his opponent with his rotating spikes.

Junko: He can take it one step further with the Homing Attack.

Junko: Another spin attack, except this one homes in on enemies and if concentrated, can hit up to 6 times in a rapid succession.

Kokonoe: Sonic also has his lightspeed attack.

Kokenoe: Which activates the light speed dash to attack multiple enemies in rapid succession. This attack is so strong it can break down most robots he can't beat regularly.

Junko: Sonic also has a large arsenal of power ups. Like his speed shoes.

Junko: These shoes double his speed for a momentary amount of time and doubles his jump distance.

Kokonoe: He also has multiple shields.

Kokonoe: These help him survive at least one fatal blow and he has many different types.

Junko: Like his electric shield!

Junko: A shield that let's him absorb electric attacks, giving him an extra jump and absorbs nearby rings. Buuuut it can't survive underwater...

Kokonoe: And his Flame Shield.

Kokenoe: A shield that lets Sonic absorb fire and gives him a mid-air boost. This also can't survive underwater...

Junko: Now you might be wondering why we keep mentioning water. Well, it's because Sonic can't swim! So much  for the Olympics. But luckily he has the Bubble Shield.

Junko: This shield let's him breathe underwater and gives him a bounce attack that he is capable of spamming.

Kokonoe: Let's not forget his Invincibility Shield.

Kokonoe: This gives Sonic invincibility for 15 seconds. He also has the Insta-Shield.

Kokonoe: Which does the same thing but with the bonus of reflecting projectiles.

Junko: He can also gain a temporary boost in power from little aliens called wisps. Like Cyan Laser.

Junko: This wisp let's Sonic turn into a cyan laser beam.

Kokonoe: As a Cyan Laser, Sonic gains the same properties as that of a real laser, allowing him to move as a beam of light and bounce off surfaces for a very short period of time.

Junko: He also has Red Burst!

Junko: In this form, Sonic can form a shield of flames that instantly incinerates anything it touches. He can also create explosions by bursting into flames without inflicting harm on himself. These explosions can destroy nearly anything in its range.

Kokonoe: But Sonic's greatest power up of all, comes at the hands of the Seven Chaos Emeralds.

Kokonoe: With the Chaos Emeralds, Sonic possesses the ability to use Chaos Control. He can use one emerald at a time for a power boost, but with all seven, he can become Super Sonic.

Junko: Faster, stronger, and way more badass, this form gives Sonic the ability to fly as well as make him invincible!

Kokonoe: Well, despite popular belief, Super Sonic isn't completely invincible as powerful enough attacks can still hurt him and have done so in the past. But he is still extremely powerful, able to use moves like the Arrow of Light, which charges up a boost that can penetrate the skin of Solaris.

Junko: You know, the god that nearly destroyed the past, present, and future? Yeah, that guy.  Sonic can also use Bolt of Lightning. A move in which has Sonic fly at his max speed until he turns into a bolt of lightning that strikes at his opponent.

Kokonoe: But while Super Sonic is powerful, Sonic can boost this power even further by turning the Chaos Emeralds into Super Emeralds and becoming Hyper Sonic.

Junko: Hyper Sonic is way faster than his Super form and stronger too.  He even gains a new ability called The Hyper Flash, which has him make a blinding flash that destroys all his enemies on screen while launching Sonic in the direction he's facing.

Kokonoe: Sonic is definitely extraordinarily fast, and he's durable enough to take hits from the toughest opponents, like Knuckles, whose strength is so immense he can push the moon. However, Sonic isn't without his fair share of weaknesses.

Junko: Yeah, Sonic is a bit arrogant and cocky at times. He'll even sometimes gloat in front of his opponents or rivals. Also some of his power ups require a time limit for how long they can be out, like his transformations and shields.

Kokonoe: Still, when you see this cocky blue Hedgehog you better watch out, because you never know what he could do next.
