Kokonoe: It's a crime to take children and turn them into killing machines... but if it's young girls being turned into super human assassins it's alright.

Junko: Like Nobume Ima, the cold blooded police woman of Gintama.

Kokonoe: And Akame, the red eyed killer of Akame ga kill.

Junko: She's Kokenoe and I'm Junko!

Kokonoe: The analysis is complete and the combatants are ready.

Junko: It's time for a Death Battle!

Nobume was walking around an empty building. She sat down and opened a box of donuts. She immediately started munching on them like they were the best meal on earth. Once she was done, she put the empty box down and sighed. Her eyes looked behind her.

Nobume: You're late...

Akame was behind her as she had her sword aimed at her back.

Akame: ... ... ...

Nobume: ... I'm guessing I'm your next target...?

Akame: I apologize... but you must be buried...

Nobume: Hmph. It's fine... saves me the trouble of hunting you down!

Nobume swung her blade at her and Akame quickly got back.

Nobume: Akame, you're under arrest for countless murders.

Akame: Nobume, you will rest in peace.

Nobume and Akame dashed at each other as their katana's clashed. Nobume used the sheathe of her blade and swung it at Akame who saw it coming and quickly flipped back to dodge it. Akame swung her blade at Nobume who used the sheathe to block it. Akame's blade went straight through the sheathe but missed Nobume who swung her katana again. Akame used her sword to block it and Nobume pulled out a small blade and went to stab Akame's neck. Akame saw this and quickly moved her head to dodge it as she quickly kicked Nobume in the gut, sending her flying into a pillar. Nobume quickly recovered.

Nobume: (She's strong... I need a-)

Before she could finish her thought, Akame went dashing at her. She swung her sword and Nobume quickly jumped to the side to dodge it, causing her to slice the stone pillar instead. Nobume went for a kick and Akame dodged it, letting her destroy the pillar as Akame went for a swing of her own. Nobume blocked Akame's blade with her katana and used her smaller blade to try to slice her stomach but Akame quickly flipped back. Nobume dashed at her and swung both blades. Akame blocked them but was sent flying straight through a pillar. She landed on her feet as Nobume came flying in on her. She swung her katana and Akame dodged it. Akame swung Murasame and Nobume quickly dodged it too. Akame jumped in the air and went for a falling strike but Nobume blocked it with her two blades and kicked her through another pillar. Akame got up quickly and stretched as the building around them started rumbling.

Nobume: Hm?

Akame: Sorry, I'm trying to end this as quickly as possible.

Nobume was confused, but that's when she realized.

Nobume: There's only one more pillar supporting the weight of this building...

Akame dashed at her and swung her blade. Nobume quickly went to block but Akame wasn't aiming at her. She jumped up and cut the pillar behind her in quick succession as she quickly jumped out the window. She landed on her feet as she watched the entire building collapse onto Nobume.

Akame: ... ... ...

Akame was about to leave but stopped as she watched Nobume start to come out the rubble unharmed.

Nobume: ... ... ... It's not over yet... I won't let you get away that easily...

Akame dashed into the rubble and straight towards Nobume. She started circling around her at very high speeds as it was caused dust and debris to go everywhere.

Nobume: (She's trying to blind me? I see... it doesn't matter, I can still sense her presence.)

Nobume tried to sense where she was at but failed as Akame swung her blade and Nobume blocked it last minute, pushing her back as Akame disappeared again.

Nobume: (So, she's good at hiding her presence huh? Fine then...)

Nobume swung her blades and made a massive burst of wind that knocked back all the debris. Akame was right in front of her as they both swung their blades, clashed, and pushed each of back. They had a stare down as suddenly both their stomachs growled at the same time. Suddenly they heard a bell outside the carnage as Junko had a food booth filled with meat and donuts.

Junko: Free meat and donuts! Get your free meat and donuts! Oh, with soda too.

Both Akame and Nobume stopped what they were doing and dashed into  the city to the food stand where they immediately started eating. The two of them looked at each other. Akame gave her some meat while Nobume shared her donuts. Then they continued munching. A few seconds later, it was all gone.

Nobume: There... now that one problem is out of the way...

Akame: ... Right... it's time I buried you.

Akame pulled out some booster drugs and injected it into her body as she quickly swung her sword. Nobume immediately dodged it. She saw a can on the ground and kicked it as hard as she could as it flew straight towards Akame at an incredible speed. Akame quickly cut it in half as it blew up behind her. Nobume dashed at her and swung her katana and Akame quickly flipped back to dodge it as she threw her sword at her. Nobume quickly dodged it and dashed at her.

Nobume: (Throwing your sword away? Big mistake!)

Nobume swung her smaller blade and Akame dodged it. She grabbed her arm and elbowed her in the face, then took the small knife out her hand and went to stab her heart. Nobume quickly went to dodge, causing Akame to stab her gut instead. Nobume quickly swung her blade and Akame jumped back as she landed right beside her own. She retrieved Murasame as her senses were getting hazy.

Nobume: ... ... ... (That drug... it must be wearing off...)

Nobume wasted no time as she dashed at her and swung her katana. Akame quickly blocked it with Murasame and Nobume kicked her into a building. She dashed at her and stabbed her in the ribs, then took the blade out and kicked her straight into the building. She was about to enter but a burst of dark aura knocked her back as Akame was suddenly right in front of her. Akame swung her blade and Nobume quickly went to block it as she was knocked straight through a building. Nobume recovered and saw Akame walking towards her as she had used her blades trump card.

Nobume: Tch!

Akame dashed at her at an incredible speed. Nobume swung her sword but missed as Akame's blade stabbed straight through her heart. Markings started appearing on Nobume's body as her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fell to the ground dead.

Akame: ... ... ... Mission complete...

Kokonoe: Um... Junko... what were you doing in the middle there...?

Junko: What do you mean? I was right here this whole time.

Kokonoe: Right. Anyway, this was an interesting matchup. Both combatants had similar experiences and have shown similar feats of speed and strength.

Junko: Yeah, but Akame only needed one strike, and it's not like Nobume could just keep dodging forever.

Kokonoe: Intelligence also played a big factor in this as Akame could easily outsmart Nobume every step of the way.

Junko: And even though they had similar feats, Akame could always boost herself up with some drugs or use her trump card.

Kokonoe: In other words, both combatants were highly impressive but Akame's intelligence and larger arsenal gave her the leg she needed for victory.

Junko: Looks like Akame gane killed another.

Kokonoe: The winner is Akame.

Junko: Next time on Death Battle!

Katara: It's my time to shine!

Juvia: Let's do our best...
