Kokonoe: Born this daughter of Shiden and Ayame, Kasumi was born into the Mugen Tenshin's head family, making her second-in-line to the title of clan leader, after her older brother, Hayate. Things were looking pretty good, until one day, a rouge ninja named Raidou came and attacked the village, leaving Hayate in a death-like coma.

Junko: Hmm... this story sounds familiar...

Kokonoe: Well, this caused Kasumi to leave her village and become a rouge ninja. She sighed up for the first DOA Tournament to take down Raidou.

Junko: And she has the perfect tools to do so.

Kokonoe: Right, as a main weapon, Kasumi has a blade known as Shrouded Moon.

Kokonoe: This elegant wakizashi is imbued with the mystical powers of the words "mist" and "moon".

Junko: And she's a real badass when using it!

Kokonoe: She's skilled enough to take hordes and armed men by herself and has held her own against threats that can give Ryu Hayabusa a hard time.

Junko: And that guy can literally take on a demon status capable of destroying entire continents!

Kokonoe: Kasumi's fighting style mainly uses Mugen Tenshin Ninjutsu. Focusing on evasion and defense while utilizing grapples and tackles.

Junko: She also has kunai.

Junko: Basically versatile combat knives. She can put six of these together to form a windmill shuriken.

Kokonoe: Karumi is a stealth expert too.

Kokonoe: Trained in the art of stealth and espionage, Kasumi can mask her presence in smoke filled areas.

Junko: She also knows how to teleport!

Kokonoe: Well, she can only teleport short distances.

Junko: Aw what? Well that kinda sucks. Oh well, at least it helps with her fighting style. Plus it comes with sakura pedals.

Kokonoe: But anyway, her most useful technique is probably her ability to use ki energy. In doing so, grants her spiritual regeneration.

Kokonoe: Basically using ki to heal herself.

Junko: She also has an extremely powerful attack known as the Torn Sky Blast Technique!

Junko: Also known as the Art of Rending Wind, this is a powerful Mugen Tenshin technique that releases ki through an open palm.

Kokonoe: Kasumi is incredibly strong.

Kokonoe: She can launch a 496 pound man 7 feet into the air in less than a second and slice through armed men, metal, and monsters like they were butter.

Junko: Hell, she can even slam people into the ground with enough force to make their upper torso explode!

Kokonoe: She's also incredibly nimble and agile.

Kokonoe: She can run on walls, leave afterimages, outpace other shinobi, block and evade automatic gunfire at point blank range, and even dodge an RPG-7 missile in midair.

Junko: We could even scale her to Ryu, who is fast enough to react to and dodge lightning.

Kokonoe: Kasumi is even incredibly durable.

Kokonoe: She survived a series of explosions that spanned a large room and a fall from hundreds of feets with little to no issues. She can even be electricity and still keep on fighting.

Junko: Hell, she's ranked hits from an evil Ryu and from Jann Lee, who can destroy a tree with a single strike. Oh, she can also endure being rammed into by a charging dinosaur.

Kokonoe: Kisame is not one you should underestimate as she is a trained warrior despite being so young.

Junko: She's taken on ninja, assassin, wrestlers, and even a clone of herself that has the fighting styles of her and three others, including Ryu himself, all in one.

Kokonoe: Right. Though she's not without her weaknesses. She can run out of ki and has been beaten in battle before by her brother. Not to mention she's not too bright as she was tricked into going to Zack island... twice.

Junko: Still, Kasumi is definitely one strong female protagonist you don't want to mess with.
