Kokonoe: As an artificial child born and raised in an experimental facility, the life of the man known as Jin Kisaragi was everything but normal.

Junko: Eventually, Jin was stolen from the lab by a legendary cat, Jubei. Hey, isn't he your father Kokonoe?

Kokonoe: Let's not get into that. Anyway, after stealing Jin away along with Jin's siblings, Ragna and Saya, Jubei thought it was a good idea to let them be adopted by his sister-in-law, Celica.

Junko: So she's your mom's sister? If that's the case... and she adopted them... doesn't that make Jin your step cousin...?

Kokonoe: Like I said... let's. Not. Talk about it.

Junko: Okay okay jeez. Well anyway, after that, Jin would start to have a boring happy life. That was until Saya grew sick and Ragna decided to tend to her, which made Jin a bit jealous. Along with the properties of a mysterious sword Saya gave him and the influence of a dickhead named Terumi, this would eventually lead Jin into madness. He ended up helping Terumi burn his house down, kill Celica, take away Saya, and rob Ragna of his arm. Terumi then made another dick move and stole the memories of that event and the once again orphan boy, Jin, was soon adopted by a rich, nobel family. The high-esteemed Kisaragi family.

Kokonoe: With his new status in life, Jin eventually joined Novas Oribis Librarium. Quickly raising through their ranks, Jin has earned many honors and awards. Eventually being dubbed a hero. However, Jin's true desire lies elsewhere. His desire to reunite with Ragna and finish what he started.

Junko: In other words, he wants to kill him. And he has the right tools to do it too. Especially with his Nox Nyctores.

Kokonoe: A Nox Nyctores is the final stage of Ars Magus, a set of weapons made specifically to combat the Black Beast. And Jin's is no different.

Junko: Jin's blade is Mucro Algescro: Yukianesa. And the interesting thing about this blade is that it actually doesn't have a blade of its own. Instead, when it's drawn, it manipulates seithr particles and water vapor in the air to create a blade of permafrost. This permafrost blade is said to be so cold it can erode life.

Kokonoe: The coldest ice so far is dry ice, which can reach -109.3 °F or -78.5°C. Touching this for too long can freeze skin and cause injuries similar to burns. Considering Jin's blade can reach absolute zero, we can assume it's much colder and can do far more damage.

Junko: Jin also has his drive, Frost Bite. This allows him to freeze his opponent completely on hit. It's especially effective when he uses his special moves. Like wolf head.

Junko: This literally has him make a wolf head made of ice. She also has Ice wave.

Junko: This lets him make a wave of ice. And there's the ice tombstone.

Junko: Which let's him conjure a tombstone from the ground.

Kokonoe: He can also use his ice to shoot projectiles. Using moves like Hishouken which translates to ice blade.

Kokonoe: This move, of course, let's him throw a blade of ice at his opponent. Almost as simple as hishousetsu.

Kokonoe: Translated to flying ice strike, this has Jin throw a snowflake-shaped crystal as a stationary projectile.

Junko: Jin can use his ice for quick strikes and even uppercuts to send his opponents flying. Hell he can even make an ice car which he can ride upon!

Kokonoe: True, but that's not even the limit to his power. Thanks to his drive, frost bite, Jin can freeze any for with his attacks.

Junko: Speaking of that blade, it should be noted that it's an extremely dangerous tool to use even for the wielder. In fact, everyone whose wielded this blade often went insane.

Kokonoe: Luckily for Jin, he found a way to counter this little side effect. With a little something called the Power of Order.

Junko: This power isn't good or evil. It simply counters something that threatens the world to maintain balance.

Kokonoe: The source of this power is the absolute will, or the ability to hold ones true conviction no matter what, and it gives the user the ability to nullify things like Phenomenal Intervention and the immortal breaker.

Junko: One which can erase you from existence and another which literally forces death upon you. He used this power to stop Platinum the Trinity from disappearing and he even willed back the existence of the world around him. In fact, thanks to the power of order, it's quite easy to scale Jin to his brother, Ragna, as he was literally born to oppose him.

Kokonoe: Right, and it is thanks to this that Jin can trade blows with the top-tier's of the Blazblue universe.

Junko: That's not all. If things get rough, Jin can turn to his unlimited mode. In this mode, Jin unlocks his full power as his durability and ice potency are increased and Frost Bite is turned on automatically. Heck, with this, he can freeze his foes over with moves that aren't directly from Yukianesa.

Kokonoe: With all this, you'd think that the only things holding him back are his obsession with Ragna and his arrogance and pride. However, when it comes to combat we can easily say Jin is a Jack-of-all-trades, but a master of none.
