Ann: Born in the gutters of the 19th century, Dio Brando was the son of an alcoholic and abusive father whom he hated for working his mother to death. So he did what any child would do and secretly poisoned him. After that, he lived with a man named George Jostar and was a colossal dick. Having killed their dog and done whatever it took to ruin the life of George's son, Johnathan Jostar, aka Jojo.

Monika: What Dio didn't expect, however, was for Johnathan to retaliate after Dio stole the first kiss from Johnathan's love interest. And so, Dio poisoned Johnathan's father and stabbed Johnathan with a mask he assumed was a torture device.

Ann: Of course, the mask wasn't a torture device, and Dio realized that as he used it on himself after his murder plot was exposed. As a result, Dio had become a vampire and had a new goal, to take over Britain itself.

Monika: As a vampire, Dio has superhuman speed and reflexes.

Monika: He can speed blitz casual humans easily and even dodge and deflected Emerald Splash.

Ann: He also has superhuman durability.

Ann: He's been shot in the head, impaled several times, and even tanked hits from both Emerald Splash and Star Platinum.

Monika: And he also has enhanced senses, able and hear ones heartbeat by placing his head on the ground. And he can walk through walls.

Ann: Dio is also, of course, immortal. He doesn't age and is capable of living as just a head and control severed body parts. His bodily organs don't help him live anymore, making it harmless if he loses one.

Monika: He also has regeneration.

Monika: He can regenerate his body faster than fire can consume it.

Ann: He's regenerated from bisection, decapitation, being impaled, and being burnt to a crisp. Hell, a much weaker vampire regenerated from being blown to bits by a grenade. Of course, Dio can regenerate faster and easier after drinking human blood.

Ann: He can do this either with his fangs, or the tentacles inside his fingers. Of course, since this is Jojo, he prefers the usual method of jabbing his fingers into his victims throat to drink their blood.

Monika: Dio has other abilities too, like the Space Ripper Stingy Eyes.

Monika: Where Dio fires compressed beams of liquid through small holes in his pupils. These beams can cut through almost anything and look pretty painful.

Ann: He also has vaporization freezing.

Ann: By freezing his own blood, Dio can cover his body parts in ice and transfer the freezing to anyone he touches.

Monika: Right. With all this,and a near Infinite amount of throwing knives, it's understandable why Johnathan would have a very hard time with him as the two would end up killing each other. However, Dio wasn't gone for good as he ended up taking over the dead body of Johnathan. This is what gave him the stand, The World!

Monika: A manifestation of Dio's psyche that can be summoned at anytime, and can't be seen by the naked eye.

Ann: This stand is super strong.

Ann: Managing to surpass the diamond-destroying Star Platinum in strength and can punch a stone pillar hard enough to send pieces of it flying.

Monika: That, along with its super speed and durability is all impressive. However, its most dangerous technique is its Time Stop.

Monika: This allows Dio to freeze time for five seconds and can be spammed constantly.

Ann: That's not all.

Ann: Kinetic energy from attacks won't affect frozen opponents until time resumes. This allows Dio to stack up damage onto his frozen opponents by punching them over and over again until time resumes.

Monika: Right. But this doesn't make him unstoppable as he does have weaknesses.

Monika: One of the biggest weaknesses being sunlight. Once he comes into contact with it his body disintegrates almost immediately. Similar energy, such as Hamon, has the same affect.

Ann: Also, his stand can only move 10 meters away from him and Time Stop can be countered by other forms of time manipulation. Not just that, but any damage The World takes it also inflicted on Dio and vias versa.

Monika: He's also arrogant as hell. He believes all humans to be below him as he considers himself as nothing less than a God. But when his plan fails he'll often go into a fit of rage.

Ann: Still, even with this, Dio is still a threat. He's one vampire everyone sees a threat.

Dio: What a truly magnificent feeling! I feel so good, I could break out into song! One hundred years ago, I obtained immortality. But I didn't feel as absolutely wonderful as I do now! Joestar blood suits me well! This is the greatest high!
