Kokonoe: Long ago, Akuma and his brother, Gouken were students of Goutetsu and were taught a life threatening martial arts that incorporated elements of karate, judo, and kempo.

Junko: What is this martial arts called you might ask? We'll get to that later. Anyway, Gouken eventually left due to being too much of a pussy to accept the fighting styles violent nature. In the meantime, Akuma stayed and started to master this new fighting style. And just to prove his mastery, he killed Goutetsu, then challenged his brother and assumed to have killed him too!

Kokonoe: Anyway, the fighting style Akuma learned was known as Ansetsuken, or Assassination Fist.

Junko: This fighting style was designed to be a way of murdering ones opponent, and along with that, Akuma learned Satsui no Hado, or Surge of Murderous Intent.

Junko: A form of dark ki rooted in the darkest aspects of human instinct, which includes the desire to survive, trample, and defeat your opponent. This can online be tapped into when the user is willing to commit murder in battle.

Kokonoe: Of course, Akuma has already fully given himself to the Satsu no Hado. As a result, Akuma lost his humanity, giving him a demonic appearance and soul while greatly increasing his power.

Junko: This also allows him to manipulate his ki energy to great extents, allowing him to fire ki blast or enhance his own physical strikes.

Kokonoe: One of his moves is the Gohadoken.

Kokonoe: Where Akuma fires off a blast of purple ki. This version is actually stronger than the normal Hadoken.

Junko: He can shoot this ki blast downward and even has a flaming version known as Shakunetsu Hadoken.

Kokenoe: Another one of his moves include the Goshuryuken.

Kokenoe: Where Akuma punches the opponent in the chest, leading to a jumping uppercut. He can do this three times in a row.

Junko: Then there's the Tatsumaki Zankukyaku.

Junko: Where he jumps up before spinning with his leg outstretched.

Kokonoe: Next we have the Ashura Senku.

Kokonoe: Where Akuma lifts his knee and glides across the ground, phasing through all attacks as he does so.

Junko: Then there's the Kamehame- I mean the Messatsu Gou Hadou.

Kokenoe: Where he fires a large beam of purple ki.

Junko: We then go to the extreme as we have Kongou Kokuretsuzen!

Junko: Where he gathers his ki into his fist before punching the ground, sending out a powerful shockwave! This move is powerful enough to destroy an entire island!

Kokenoe: Then we cut to Akuma's signature move, the Shun Goku Tatsu or Wrath of the Raging Demon.

Kokenoe: The ultimate technique of the Ansetsuken, this move has Akuma glide across the ground before grabbing his opponent and pummeling them with deadly blows. This destroys the opponents soul as it turns their past sins against them.

Junko: It's one of the most badass moves ever! Though I wonder what will happen if he uses it on someone pure of heart... Oh, maybe someone should use it on me!

Kokonoe: While I would love to see you test that out... you aren't anywhere near pure hearted.

Junko: Aww thanks.

Kokonoe: Anyway, he also has a move called Demon Armageddon.

Kokonoe: Where he uses a Tatsumaki Zankukyaku that forms a whirlwind around him before using it to cut through his opponents. This move is easy to dodge but very powerful if it hits as it can destroy a sunken cruise liner.

Junko: And this is him when he's holding back! When he's not holding back, he turns into Shin Akuma.

Junko: This form greatly increases Akuma's physical abilities and replaces his insides with dark energy. Shin Akuma can fire two Gohadokens at once and has strength so immense he can destroy a meteor with one strike.

Kokenoe: And that's not all. Akuma can make himself even more powerful once he fully gives in to the Satsui no Hado and becomes Oni.

Kokenoe: In this form, Akuma becomes a deity of some sort as his powers are increased far beyond their normal limits and all of Akuma's abilities have been enhanced.

Junko: Some of Oni's moves include Zanku Hadosho.

Junko: Where he fires a burst of ki through his palm, propelling him towards his opponent.

Kokonoe: Next is Rakan Dantojin.

Kokonoe: Where he dashes across the ground before slashing his opponent twice with his hands.

Junko: After that we have the Sekisei Jiraiken.

Junko: Where he punches the ground with a ki-enhanced fist.

Kokenoe: And Gorai Hadoken.

Kokenoe: Oni charges a Gohadoken with electricity before firing it at the opponent.

Junko: And then we finally get to his two most powerful techniques. Starting with Tonchi Sokaigen!

Junko: Where he does a variation of the Kongou Kokuretzsusan, launching the opponent into the air before leaping after them and hitting them with a powerful uppercut to the back.

Kokonoe: And the other one is Meigo Gohado.

Kokonoe: The strongest version of the Hadoken, it can be aimed in any direction and pierces through the opponent's back if it hits.

Junko: However, just because he has all this power doesn't mean he doesn't have any weaknesses.

Kokonoe: Right. He can get easily angered and holds back on opponents he finds unworthy.

Junko: Considering he's had far more wins under his belt than losses though, I feel like any opponent who is unworthy is a lucky one. Otherwise, you better get ready for a world of trouble.
