FEATS:

- Rin belongs to the Tohsaka Family, a family of magus trained in the art of magecraft for generations, trying to obtain the Holy Grail.

- After the end of Fate/Zero, Rin became the next head of the Tohsaka Family, despite being at a young age, having to train and teach herself how to use magecraft.

-Revived Shirou after having his heart destroyed

- She was able to complete the summoning ritual to summon a Heroic Spirit and got Archer

Kokonoe: Coming from the Tohsaka family, Rin Tohsaka had always been seen as perfect.

Junko: I mean aside from the part where her sister gets adopted into an abusive family...her mom ends up suffering from brain damage thanks to her uncle... said uncle dies in an attempt to get said sister back... and her father is killed in an effort to retrieve the Holy Grail. Oh yeah, and she accidentally ran into a serial killer who kidnaps and murders little children. All of which happened when she was what? Eight years old?

Kokonoe: All of which happened during the fourth Holy Grail War, a competition that decides the ownership of the Holy Grail through intense battle royale. While there have been many conflicts over supposed Holy Grails in the past, this term refers to those specifically based around Masters, usually proficient magi, summoning Servants, Heroic Spirits brought forth as familiars, and meeting in battle until only one pair is left to claim the Holy Grail.

Junko: And just because she could, Rin decided to do what her pops couldn't do... fight in the Holy Grail War and survive. Because, unlike her old man, she was incredibly strong!

Junko: I mean she can create shockwaves with her punches, smash through stone pillars with ease, and even create massive craters like it's nothing! 

Kokonoe: She should at least scale to Luvia, who can do the same. Even Luvia's casual strikes have been compared to machinegun fire and Rin is stated to be evenly matched with her

Junko: I mean, the two of them had fought like 120 times. In one of their altercations, they destroyed three rooms and injured 17 people so it's safe to scale them.

Kokonoe: Rin's strength has also been displayed in her fight against Caster Medea, who was struck so hard she coughed up blood and was sent flying. 

Ann: Rin is incredibly fast too!

Ann: I mean, it's understandable, given her figure. She once punched Shirou in 0.2 seconds and nearly fractured his cheekbone. Shirou has even compared her speed to the likes of Saber.

Kokonoe: It's best to at least have context, however. It should be noted that Shirou did not know Saber's true potential since he did not have enough magic to use her at full power. However, Rin has been shown to keep up with Saber's dark counterpart, Saber Alter, who is much slower than Saber's best but still fast enough to blitz Berserker Hercules and react to Avenger Hessian Lobo, who's fast and agile enough to dodge traps that are centimeters apart and has a reaction time of mere nanoseconds.

Ann: She's dodged attacks from other spirits as well, like Rider Medusa, Lancher Cu Chulainn, Berserker Hercules, and her sister, Sakura. So she's defiantly not lacking in the speed department.

Junko: And her durability is defiantly up there with it.

Junko: Trust me, she's taken hits from some heavy hitters. She's taken hits from Berserker Hercules on more than one occasion, and that guy's strong enough to destroy mountains! She's been slammed into a wall by Saber, stabbed in the gut by Saber Alter, electrocuted by Illya's trap, burned by fireballs, and even crushed by Berserker Hercules!

Ann: Her stamina is up there too. She's taken on 1,000 golems in one night like it was nothing and was unphased by Berserker's immobilizing aura!

Junko: The only time she did get exhausted was when she fucked Hakuno's servant.

Kokonoe: Um no, that wasn't Rin Tohsaka.

Junko: Eh? But they look exactly the same!

Kokonoe: True... but that's actually a different person. She's a descendant from another timeline thousands of years into the future. While all the timelines are connected, we can't scale these two unless they were the same person.

Ann: Well regardless, Rin has proven she can hold her own even without it.

Kokonoe: A recognized genius in both magecraft and in school, Rin is one of the wisest characters in the series, restraining Shirou when his heroic tendencies get the better of him. She specializes in long-range combat, particularly the use of Gandrs. She is skilled in her family's specialty magecraft, the use of Jewels as single-shot Mystic Codes powerful enough to counter Caster's A-Rank spells from the Age of Gods.

Junko: She's also skilled at Baji-Quan, a form of Chinese martial art with explosive, short-range power, and is famous for its elbow and shoulder strikes. She learned this from Kirei, the same guy who... well... murdered her father. She's also a skilled wrestler being on par with Luvia herself.

Kokonoe: Rin was born capable of manipulating all five great Elements, an extremely rare trait for a mage. Her potential is such that she will eventually be considered as one of the top one hundred ranking magi throughout the entire history of the Mage's Association. Compared using simple numbers, someone with an abnormally high potential like Ciel is at one hundred, someone who is eternally at apprentice level like Shirou is at ten, and Rin falls from seventy to one hundred.

Ann: Her main weapons are her jewels.

Ann: More specifically, Jewel Magecraft, which allows Rin to infuse disposable objects with magic for various effects, preferably jewels. When thrown like bullets, they're strong enough to counter Medea's Age of Gods magic. And with five of them, she managed to take one of Berserker Hercules' 12 lives! It takes an extremely powerful Noble Phantasm just to pierce his skin!

Junko: She can use them as more than just homing projectiles. She can use them to create a barrier that holds her foe in place, fire large blasts of magical energy, create magical shields to block enemy projectiles, create a blinding light to blind her opponents, or even use that same blinding light to get rid of almost any foe that's in front of her. 

Kokonoe: She can use these gems to unleash elemental magic like fire, ice, wind, and lightning. Se can also make black chains using her magic

Ann: She can also combine these jewels with her other signature technique, her Gandr bullets.

Kokonoe: These black balls of magical energy are curses meant to worsen the conditions of the target it's used on. The bigger they are, the more heat they generate as Shirou was burned just by one of them scraping his skin.

Junko: Yeah, Rin made sure to nerf them though whenever she rapidly fires them since she could instantly kill her target in one shot if she hit their vital spots. Heck, even a light bullet could leave a normal person bedridden for at least two days. It defiantly doesn't help that these things can phase through walls and are strong enough to destroy walls and stone pillars. By combining them with her jewels, she can perform extra damage.

Kokonoe: She's also proficient in Reinforcement Sorcery.

Kokonoe: This type of magic is what she uses to infuse her arms or legs with magical energy, increasing her speed and strength by a tremendous amount and allowing her to leap high distances or run over one hundred meters in less than seven seconds. It can even protect her from Hercules' grip.

Ann: And that's still just a glimpse of what she can do with her magic power.

Ann: Even without her jewels, she can still create a bounded field that can block out noise. She can whip her target's memory and even knows a spell that forces her target to obey her every command or even feel the same pain as someone else of her choosing. She can repair objects that were previously broken, bind multiple foes at once, create gravity fields, and even summon a dark sword called the Nameless Blade. She has a ton of magic spells at her disposal that she often speaks in german to use.

Junko: She's also good at dispelling barriers. And if that's not enough, she can sense the magic power of both a mage and a mage's servant, knowing exactly where they are and how strong they are. 

Ann: She even has a technique called Cutting Seven Colors.

Ann: When Rin uses it, she Rin deploys jewels around her, and simultaneously with her declaring "Anfang" magical energy of multiple attributes appears in the space between the gems. The light continuously reflects inside the gems, expanding their magical energy. The magical energy of multiple attributes then shoots forward as several beams.

Junko: This was used by both Rin and her Psudo-Servant counterpart, Ishtar, as seen in that tiny ass GIF above.

Kokonoe: Going back to her possessions, let's talk about other things she has, like her pendant.

Kokonoe: Given to her by her father before he passed away, this pendant holds ten years worth of Rin's magical energy. Because of this, Rin claims it's capable of doing almost anything, but she can only use it through healing, which she's capable of doing even without the pendant. But even then it's capable of bringing the dead back to life and repairing a damaged heart. 

Junko: But she can only use it like once or twice. Once it runs out of magic it's pretty much useless. 

Ann: She also has the Azoth Sword.

Kokonoe: This blade is a Mystic Code used as a tool for performing magecraft, amplifying the user's magical energy to assist with spells and strengthen them. Filling it with magical energy allows for it to be utilized as a magic wand at any time to form magic circles and affect physical divine mysteries. While it is called a dagger, it is not meant to be a weapon used for slashing or stabbing in its ceremonial nature, but it can function as such to kill a person. However, using it on something like a Servant will cause it to crumble. Still, despite being weaker than her jewels, it was still used to kill both Kirei and Saber Alter.

Ann: But her strongest blade has to be the Jeweled Sword Zelretch.

Kokonoe: This blade is made from alien technology embodying general knowledge from a far future, beyond the reach of modern man. Shirou cannot tell the magical theory that constructed it even with all of Archer's knowledge. Zelretch carries the original, and he has left blueprints of the sword with the Tohsaka family as a sort of long-term homework that he expects will take many generations. Like normal Mystic Codes, it is only able to be used by him and those of his lineage.

Junko: That old man used the original blade to defeat the living embodiment of the entire Nasuverse! You know... the infinite multiverse filled with an infinite amount of timelines? Yeah... too bad Rin only holds the prototype, which isn't nearly as powerful but still possesses a potentially infinite amount of magical energy.

Kokonoe: It was thanks to this that Rin was able to easily take down the Shadow Giants created by her sister, Sakura. Despite being surrounded by them with each one holding the power of a single Noble Phantasm... despite the fact that Rin could have been killed if just a single one of them touched her...even despite the fact the blade was tearing her muscles apart with every swing of it... she still managed to blitz through all of them and take them down by firing large blasts of light at them all.

Junko: And she could have killed Sakura too if it weren't for those modeling sisterly feelings. But wait, there's more! Not only does Rin have this magical blade, but it's also been confirmed that she still has her Kaleidostick within the Stay/Night timeline! That stick being properly named Ruby.

Junko: Pffft! Wait, what the fuck?! Did she just turn into a magical girl?!

Kokonoe: Yep. When equipped with the Kaleidostick, Rin can become Magical Girl Ruby. In this form, Rin can fly and possesses a seemingly unlimited supply of magical energy. Her speed and strength are also heightened as she gains a healing factor and a shield around her body that can tank a lot of damage.

Ann: She should be capable of almost everything Illya can do. Like blasting large amounts of magical energy and fireballs, creating smaller shields in the shape of stars, creating illusions, or even turning the wand into a blade!

Kokonoe: With this blade, Rin was capable of not one clashing blade's with Saber Alter, but even sparing with her. Reminder that this is the same Alter who destroyed a meteor that could have blown up the earth three times over.

Junko: Rin didn't just keep up with Saber Alter, she even managed to break that spirit's armor, which is not an easy feat! Hell, during their battle, Rin even managed to accidentally tear a hole in a riverbed and take Saber Alter out... albeit temporarily.

Ann: Too bad Ruby is sentient and isn't exactly the most obedient or respectful towards Rin. Not to mention that she's kinda... um... creative with what she can do without a master... like the time she made Shirou tell the truth about how he felt about Rin... or the time she made everyone on the beach fall in love with Illya... yeah...

Kokonoe: Doesn't that sound familiar...? 

Ann: Still, her biggest weapon isn't a tool at all. Thanks to being a participant in the Holy Grail War, Rin now has a Heroic Spirit of the Archer Class named-

Junko: Hold it!

Ann: Oh what now?

Junko: Archer needs a profile of his own. There's not enough room or pictures to go over everything that guy can do.
